The controversy surrounding Hulk Hogan is often attributed to his racist remarks, yet it prompts a deeper inquiry into our selective outrage. What about other wrestlers who have committed far more egregious offenses but still receive admiration? This inconsistency in our reactions raises important questions. While I condemn Hogan's actions, we cannot overlook the serious allegations against Jimmy Snuka, including murder. Many wrestlers have perpetrated unspeakable crimes that would land ordinary people behind bars for life, yet these individuals continue to enjoy fan support. This double standard parallels the justice system, where even the most heinous acts can go unpunished while the offenders remain celebrated. It's disconcerting that this disparity exists among countless wrestlers-not just Hogan. Unacceptable behaviors must not be ignored, and those responsible should face consequences, especially when their actions are more reprehensible than Hogan's. My point is not to excuse Hogan; instead, I assert that none of his peers should escape scrutiny either. None warrant immunity from accountability.

As a black man I wasn't happy with his comments but I also cant erase his legacy. Wrestling is what it is today because of that man. It amazes me how quickly we turn on folks in today's world. Should Hogan be held accountable.sure he should but the quickness in which people move in there retribution is stunning ask those thousands of black kids he spent hours at the hospitals and boys homes that were lifted up because of him how they feel. But what do I know. Yea Hogan ain't perfect but his legacy in wrestling is un matched. No one would even know who these ass holes today are if not for that man. Yea I'm disappointed with him. But I will not dismiss him

I can acknowledge his legacy and retain the right to boo him. The fact is he was and is a wrestler of limited technical skill, with one of the lamest finishes ever, in his prime, who benefited because he had the looks and somehow the charisma. Yes, he made wrestling cross into the mainstream entertainment. It how many wrestlers do he bury or deny the opportunity to rise up? How much did he die to nurture and put over younger stars? His ego, his lying about the silliest things. And in this case playing on that legacy to push a beer brand contributed to the tarnishing of his legacy. His video comments didn’t make him any more likable. The MAGA thing is simply him trying to cash in on a chance to buy more time on camera. And people realize it. He has been prostituting his image for more cash for decades. This appearance is one more example of all of that. He was doing nothing to push a story, he was taking time on screen away from a younger and strong roster to shill a product better associated with another wrestling legend d, and he doesn’t seem to be a. Wry nice man. The fans have had enough and just want him to go away. We have watched Rick Flair keep appearing long after he should have retired. Hogan has hit his expiration date as well. The fans recognize it, and it’s past time he does the same. if he is going to appear At all, let it be in a way to set up other wrestlers, maybe support charities, k Something other than his constant self promotion.
@michaelvance635915 күн бұрын
And in spite of all of what you said nobody impacted the sport like him that fact is indisputable
@ThornyroseSGA15 күн бұрын
@@michaelvance6359 I am not denying that. Al Capone fed thousands during the Depression but he was still a criminal. hogan gets full recognition for the part he played on making pro wrestling a mainstream product. But there is. Limit to what thY buys him, and when he has eroded the respect he once had, he can’t be surprised when he starts getting boos. There is an entire generation of wrestling fans who were born late of after his career ended. All they seem is some old guy with a goofy gimmick taking time away from the stars they want to see. There are older fans who have become disillusioned with him. I am not going to bash on those fans who were booing him. It’s just sad he let things get to this point.

Haha Hulkkk Hogan being booed will go down in history as the permanent tarnishment of WWE's very first (1st) episode on Netflix on January 6, 2025. We will never forget the moment that WWE crashed and burned in their official debut in The Netflix Era. God bless the city of Inglewood, God blessed my home-county of Los Angeles, God bless my home-state of California, and God bless that multi-racial, multi-cultural, and multi-gendered WWE fans in-attendance and online who understands that what Hogan said, on that audio that was released in 2015, recalls a time in Amerian history that we are all (or a decent amount of people) are ashamed of as fellow Americans. Mr. Ari Emmanuel would be well in his right to call both Nick Khan and Paul Levesque to the front of the congregation to find out why they insisted on permanently tarnishing WWE's debut on Netflix by adding the Hulkkkster to this very first episode on January 6, 2025.

@rollandcurtisoffExpoInThe30s3 күн бұрын
@fromvault801 No problem. Hulkkk Hogan, The Hulkkkster, Hulkkkamania aka The Real Amerikkkan are the names that Hulkkk Hogan has earned over the past 10 years, but the sad thing is that The Hulkkkster made the comments in 2006, but we only heard about it in 2015, so we were all unfortunately cheering Hulkkk Hogan during those 9 years since the recording was made. By the way, Tessa Blankkkhard is the old spelling. Somebody else on KZbin taught me to spell her name as: Tessa Klanchard. I told him that I would start using Tessa Klanchard instead of Tessa Blankkkhard, but you're welcome to use either spelling because she earned both when she spat on the Black lady after using the N-word on her. This is a way to boo these kinds of people without actually booing. Nice wholesome online fun.
