I do good because I live God, Jesus, what HE did for me and want to live for Him and with Him for all eternity. Bur doing Good is not what saves us. Repentance and Faith in Christ is what saves us. Good works follow salvation, not lead to it.

Exactly. I do good because I care about other people and I enjoy seeing smiles on their faces. I enjoy spending time with them and I like to make sure they enjoy having me around. I'd like to leave this world a better place because this place is the only thing I can be sure of.

But I came to a point in my life where I wanted to examine the evidence for myself and it changed my life forever. If you do a serious, in depth study of the evidence for the Bible it actually takes more faith to deny than to believe. The evidence for the Bible is overwhelmingly strong, and the only religion on earth NOT based on 100% blind faith.

I believe in the father and son. With that being said, I have lost my son and almost my wife. I’ve learned a lot from my ordeal, the pain, the suffering, the torment of “what if’s”. People ask why did God allow your son to die? I pondered and prayed and an answer was given, not directed but through inspiration of the spirit. God loves us so much that he gave his only begotten Son. He was a sacrifice both pure and without blemish. When it was Christ’s time to be lifted upon the cross, he lamented to his father to “remove this bitter cup, but not by my will but thine.” In his torment God sent an angel down to comfort Christ. He did come down himself, he couldn’t. He could not allow himself to compromise Christ’s ordeal to pay the price for our sins and satisfy the laws of justice that would see none of us return home. So God had to sit there and suffer as he watched his son be taken by evil men, who tortured and physically hurt his “only begotten.” Where talking about the most high, powerful and glorious who can create universes, planets, the stars, cause the waters to divided. But with all that power and glory he could not save his Son. And when his Son finally died, the ground shook with a huge earthquake. I know in my heart this was God cry of anguish and hurt that this was done to him. God cannot interfere in our lives unless it was for a higher purpose. Saving my child would mean he felt my child was greater than Christ. My son is not. As a father I cannot fathom sacrificing one of my children so others could come home, how would you choose who gets sacrificed? Who would be willing? This great act shows how much he loves us. Even when tragedy strikes, the Son of God has descended below us all, so that he could succor his people. I know Christ was there comforting me as I lowered my son into the earth. He comforted both my wife and I. I hope and pray all who go through tragedy will feel his love and hope you know he cries when you cry, his heart breaks because he truly knows your pain. We will soon be rejoined with our loved ones so long as we don’t give into blaming God for our woes and fall away. We must endure our pain well, for we will be welcomed with our lost loved ones waiting and also by Christ who I hope and pray will give me those words of comfort...”Well done, my faithful servant.” God bless everyone.

God doesn't owe anyone life. We don't have to apologize for or defend God's actions. If God chooses to allow something He has a sufficient reason for doing so. 1. God is good. 2. God is sovereign. 3. Bad things happen. All three are true. I don't have to be able to fully explain it I just have to state what scripture says. If God chose to kill everyone tomorrow He has the full right to do so and He wouldn't owe anyone an explanation or apology for it. God is God. He doesn't owe us anything.

When my only daughter died as soon as she came out I started losing faith in God. When my second son died 3 weeks after he was born,and doctors said SIDS took him, I gave up on this "God" character everyone brags about. If he or she was real children would be spared of harm ,pain and death .

This is the horrible truth. And i dont believe it is for a greater good as the pastor is trying to ensure it. Where there is action, there will be reaction. Before we come and take a God s fault on the equation, maybe we should try to see where the human s part is. If we read our Bibles humbly we'd know these answers. In this cases and many more like them because we live in a Fallen world. Why do we live in a Fallen world? Because GOD cursed it. Why did He curse it? Because of His infinite position of authority and Justice called for it Rightly due to the breaking of his command (Holy Law).. Do not eat from the Tree. We broke GOD's law and JESUS paid our fine. Correct. It's very loving (and just)for the same Judge who passes sentence of our Law breaking to also pay our fine...... Imagine you were in a Court of law guilty of serious crimes such as murder and rape. The Judge you'll be facing is known for upholding the law to the utter most and due to his extreme hatred towards lawbreakers crimes he has always given harsh and severe punishments. When the Judge is about to pass sentence of life in prison for you he does something very odd and highly unusual that leaves the entire courtroom with eyes wide open and in complete silence because of shocking news he gives to you. He takes his robe off and steps around his lofty high chair , turns his back and tells the bailiffs.. arrest me instead I will go in his place. I hope you see and just simply think about this. @@matthewpourciau4144 the thing is, god allowed for sin to exist. its logically impossible for an absolute all good, loving god to create sin. but lets say through some mental gymnastics you get through that. but how can sin even cause death when god is all powerful? he can just as easily wipe out sin as it was "brought into the world". yet he didnt. either he allows it or he isnt all powerful. and lets say you get through that mental gymnastics once again, god being all powerful is also greater than death. so he literally can just not let any suffering to occur or let everyone into heaven. theres absolutely nothing stopping him from giving all his beloved creation eternal joy in heaven. now thats a lot of mental gymnastics to get through

This is easily answerable. We wouldn't know that something is wrong unless we can see and feel whats wrong. If you couldn't feel pain then you wouldn't know you got stabbed in your back which to know that something is wrong you gotta feel that. Babies dieing is simply just another thing to show us that something is extremely wrong with this world. Honestly if everyone turned to Jesus maybe this wouldn't happen but before the world hated us they hated Him first. We only have ourselves to blame for the shape of this world we live in. Everything we do has am affect on everything around us and consequences such as children dying is a direct result of the wrong actions humanity has taken. BMore sounds like you have a lot of emotional baggage with your past experience with religion which I would say I’m sorry and that I don’t agree with a lot of what today’s churches do either. At the same time, I(and 99% of the Christians in the chat) would tell you the opposite of what the pastor told you. I would argue that you didn’t look hard enough and that’s why you didn’t find a good answer to the problem you mention. You of course have to be open to it, plenty of studies have shown that no amount of good logic can convince someone who doesn’t want to believe.

Those that believe in this false grace are then not in Yahushua (Jesus) and put themselves under condemnation (nobody has to do it for them), put themselves under God’s wrath and they will not receive salvation if they don’t come out from that way of thinking. False grace says we are all exempt from penalties of sin; this would be called heresy and they believe certain parts of the Bible no longer apply. It is a false sense of security but this is a lie and so far from truth because one must believe from the 1st word written to the last word in the Bible. False grace keep us in total selfishness. It is all about self; what one wants and desires. These people do not believe in holiness or that they will ever achieve it yet the Bible clearly states only those that overcome sin and the deeds of the flesh enter into the kingdom to come. We must have fruit in our lives and we are judged by how we live (our deeds) and He brings His reward at that time with Him to each one of us. When one believes no repentance daily is necessary they are easily ensnared into self and they make no effort to change. They feel they are fine with God yet they take no responsibility for their actions and just ride through life doing as they please thinking they will enter into God’s kingdom to come. TRUE GRACE speaks in a whole different language and will lead you to Holiness, to obedience and not because of works but simply these people truly love God. These people turn to God daily in true repentance admitting they need His help and need him in their lives, they ask for mercy, desiring to walk in obedience out of love and respect for a Most Holy God. They know God can do anything and nothing is impossible and they allow His Spirit to operate within them to bring about this change and as they are purged and purified, they grow to hate sin for they see how it has even hurt them and those that they love. They know that God helps us through all addictions and whatever else is deep within our hearts, our souls and empowers us to win the race and to overcome. This is how one defeats satan in the end. People must stop identifying with their sin because then you are in agreement with Satan to keep you in these strongholds and he wins and you lose and each one of us needs to kick him to the curb daily and start only identifying more with Holiness and the nature of God, His character. We must rid ourselves of our temptations and patterns that are not working in our favor and just get fed up with all the schemes of satan and how he pulls on our flesh. It is not as hard as people make it out to be because we have a friend called the Comforter who helps us along the way once we have accepted Yahushua (Jesus) as our King & Savior. To overcome we must walk the walk, not just talk the talk! Talking does nothing for anyone but there must be evidence of a changed life. How is anyone going to believe you are a true Christian brother or sister if you hate, are steeped in unforgiveness, slander, steal from family, sit at home drinking and doing drugs, in fornication, adultery, envy, jealousy, greed (list goes on and on) or whatever else your poison is. Do you truly think you are a Christian or do they see how you are lying even to yourself? You must come out from under that false grace way of thinking because without change, how are you really saved? Did Yahushua (Jesus) party on and partake of all the lusts back in his day, did He slander, steal, hate, or stay in unforgiveness or did He walk the walk and show us how to? Did He say to the Father, “sorry dad, I am not about to give up anything on this journey called life for you or for anyone else?” Yahushua (Jesus) walked and lived by God’s commandments and never went against Him. Think about this because it is so very important. Do not live under the lies of satan that God is good with us in sin and that we are fine dying in it. Remember satan is a deceiver, a liar, a thief and even a murderer. He is the one that took from you, caused your problems, makes you feel bad about yourself, talks you into vulgarity, perversions, lusts of all sorts. He could care less about you but drools all over himself making sure he sends his minions to keep you locked in tight in sin and in enmity with your Father who has always loved you from the start. Wake up for the hour is ending and this world is fading away and anyone who cannot see that I do not know what to say. It is all around us; here and in other nations & if you can’t tell things are rapidly going away then you are truly in the dark still. Once truly repentant, your eyes will be opened to see! Remember, SIN is a “heart condition”. God seeks the heart and if we live in disobedience, in constant hate, unforgiveness, bitterness and slandering others then our heart condition does not align with our Heavenly Father. Yes it is hard to get over things but if one truly repents from the heart, then you allow His Spirit in to do the work in you which frees you! There is much freedom in letting go. I speak from experience about satan and his tactics; he did everything he could to try and destroy me. Let love in; love that never fails…let the One who loved us all from the beginning. How hard is it to say you are sorry? We were born into sin through Adam and Eve so there is no getting around that part of it but we have an advocate, the Holy Spirit who was sent to us to help us, change us, intercede for us if we allow Him into our heart by asking for forgiveness with a contrite heart. Father in heaven loves us all very dearly and if He didn’t He would not put out so many Words about how important repentance is. He keeps reaching out His hand, so take His hand and let Him in! True grace gets you into New Jerusalem because you can overcome sin and false grace sends you straight to the pit of hell at the end of life’s journey. It is you that puts yourself into hell. God is Holy and cannot bear to be around sin He cannot and will not let those enter in. Daily repentance cleanses and purifies and why it is so necessary.

God does not do it, he allows it, any other reasons made is a man made belief and doesnt allign with any of the bible therefor its false thinking of god which is a sin... anyways the only times god has shown the killing of babies in the bible is like the sacrifice of abrahams child, the egyptian history of throwing babies eg almost moses, and also the punishment upon egypt which was the killing of first borns of those who didnt paint the passover lambs blood over their front door as it was a covenant made by god to his people, anyways those are the shown examples of deaths of babies but god does not kill babies he allows them to exist as they are with free will.
