I've been carnivore going on three years now. I stopped eating chicken because, quite frankly, it has no taste unless it's rotisserie chicken. I live in France and buy sausages and dried meats at my local butcher shop. The sausages here are just meat and seasonings, that's it, and cured dried meats are made the same way they've been making them for 500 years. Most the salmon I eat is smoked organic salmon from the North Sea. I do drink café crème, which is coffee made with heavy full-fat cream. Nice summary.

Yes, after being on carnivore for 3 years, I've tried isolating types of meats. Beef made me feel best, resulted in the highest levels of health and vigor. Skin, vision and hair improved. Lamb is also positive. Pork, a noticeable difference in results. Hair loss returned. Chicken for 6 weeks had my hair loss return. Almost at the rate prior to carnivore diet. Whenever I eat chicken, I also feel 'off'. And now I wonder if it's the hormones and antibiotics injected into production chicken. Or the filthy washing process. There is something to Dr. Berry's recommendation of Beef, Bacon, Eggs and Butter. I do notice I thrive on it. I do recommend folks mix up there meat intake as we can't all afford beef and lamb. Luckily they all go on sale cyclically. Great new video!

Farmed salmon has a severe negative impact on marine ecosystems. Pens full of salmon produce large amounts of waste -- both excrement and unconsumed feed. This results in water quality conditions (such as high nutrients and low oxygen) that are unfavorable for both the farmed fish and the natural ecosystem. Each pound of salmon produced requires at least 3 pounds of wild-caught fish, challenging the presumption that fish farming necessarily reduces commercial fishing pressure. The densely packed condition in pens promotes disease, a common problem in most salmon farms. While antibiotics are used to treat some diseases, there are concerns about the effects of antibiotic-resistant bacteria on human health.

Some of those things are "normal" in US and some other parts of the world. Here in Finland chicken is much better. No horomones or antibiotics. Not sure what they are feeding to the chickens, but even that there is less chemicals is still better. Sausages here are also better. I don´t buy any sausage that has less than 80% of meat. Mostly the other incridients are fat, salt, other spices and animal based things. Still much better option than normal western diet. Wild caught salmon is great for sure, but they sell lots of farned salmon from Norway and that is bad. Tastes good, but those fishes might have diseases and has been used some antibiotics for those. Also the food for the fishes is total crap.

omega-3 fatty acids (especially EPA and DHA are a real problem. there is NO real source thats healthy for it, but i think not having enough of them is even worse. you say wild salmon is better than farmed but not even that has to be true anymore :D. most salmon (ours in germany e.g. is pretty much exlusively from there) comes from norway nowadays. wild as well as farmed. the problem is, that the wild fish lives longer, while the farmed gets harvested fast to maximize profit (obviously xd). since the wild one can live longer, it has more time to accumulate all the contaminants in its fat (and also the beneficial nutrients. but it seems that it increases more in contaminants than the nurtients). depending on which study you believe. older ones say farmed is worse, newer ones say wild is worse. they also changed the feeding inbetween etc. which reduced contamination but also lowered DHA content. you really cant know whats on the table and government etc. cant be trusted to check. as you said we get fed so many poisons that are OBVIOUS you cant tell me they dont know, they just dont give a fuck as long as the money is right. findings of that study: "Results of the study: Lower levels of the following environmental pollutants in farmed salmon than in wild salmon: • dioxins • PCBs • brominated flame retardants • the pesticides DDT, toxaphene, dieldrin, lindane, chlordane, hexachlorobenzene and mirex • mercury Higher levels of the following nutrients in wild salmon than in farmed salmon: • selenium • copper • zinc • iron • beneficial composition of omega fatty acids Similar levels of the following environmental pollutants in farmed salmon and wild salmon: • cadmium • lead • the pesticides endosulfan and pentachlorobenzene" source: www.hi.no/en/hi/news/2017/mars/more-environmental-pollutants-in-wild-salmon-than-in-farmed-salmon

I don’t eat chicken anymore. It just doesn’t appeal to me. I cook organic (whatever that actually means) chicken tenders for my husband, which he really enjoys, but I’ve lost all taste for chicken myself. I do buy eggs from free range pasture raised hens, and those are great. I went through an egg aversion recently but I’m over it now. I make Bella the Beef & Butter Gal’s egg drop soup fairly often with homemade beef bone broth. It is SO good. I can’t get fresh/frozen wild caught salmon where I live but canned wild caught salmon. I make salmon patties with those. My husband and I both enjoy them. Farmed salmon practices sound horrifying. I hope the canned stuff is really what they say it is. I don’t love the taste of pork sausage anymore. That porky taste turns me off lately. Where I live in the Deep South USA, however, you can buy very good local sausage, including venison sausage, and it isn’t too filled with junk. I suppose I would use it for a charcuterie board but I don’t usually make a meal of sausage or even buy it anymore. It would just make me crave a biscuit to go with it anyway. Yeah, store bought jerky has too many additives. I did find some meat sticks at Walmart here called Chomps that look fairly clean. I’m semi retired but when I go to work a day or two a week I will tuck one in my bag in case of hunger pangs. Those are handy. I’ve tried the beef and venison and both were quite palatable. As I progress on carnivore I find I’m better off avoiding dairy. I still take a little cream in my morning coffee but I avoid cheese and other dairy now. Except for butter, which I’m fairly addicted to now, probably because I still want carbs. Anita Carnivore Woman has a video on half tallow/half butter bites. I made those recently and overate them. I can make a total pig of myself on butter and crispy fat. But cheese, milk, etc. lead to congestion and bloating. I’m just better off without it. I’m enjoying your videos! 🙂👍❤️

Good vid. I am in the same boat with milk, I N=1 experimented on myself for weeks now, Raw milk I can tolerate (1-1.5 liters a day no issues, more will cause bloating and stomach cramps, constipation) but the same amount of store-bought (pasteurized and homogenized) milk will cause digestive issues, potentially skin break-outs. I once had hives for a short while, on a particularly awkward spot on my body, after drinking store bought milk, and I said alright I'm done with that. Raw milk it is! I also don't believe I am deficient in omega 3's despite basing my diet's muscle meat intake on pretty much 90% conventionally-raised poultry. It doesn't help that the same amount of beef to "hit my macros with" costs at least twice as much as does poultry.

It depends on where you live in the world. I am in Australia and it is illegal to sell raw milk, so unless you live on a farm you won’t get raw milk anywhere 🫤

@@Desertflower743 you honestly don't lose out on much, milk is not a required food on the diet. You won't develop a milk-deficiency, let's put it like that. If you need something to drink other than water on carnivore, a good ole hot mug of bone broth will do you more good than raw milk could ever.

Imagine if the first society on earth came upon this knowledge. Civilization would have never expanded. We would be doomed to raising cows that would never feed the ever rising population. Knowledge stumped. No more youtube. Gotta weigh your pros and cons for 8 billion people bro

Luckily I've always hated salmon. Sausages of any kind give me acid reflux and diarhea Chicken jusymt doesn't fill me up. Jerky is overpriced and gives me acid. Milk and cheese STALL weight loss and give me bad phlegm. 😮
