We need gender-neutral toilets soooooo badly! I also hold my pee like for hours because I don't wanna get stares from others in the toilet. I'm a trans-male but I don't pass to well as a guy to go to the boys bathroom, but I pass well enough to make the girls in the bathroom uncomfortable and giving me weird stares. Geez just let me pee in peace!!

I'm cis, and even I have trouble using a public bathroom (strange anxiety I know, probably cause my countrys bathroom door has a big enough gap for a child to crawl through with ease), I can't imagine what it must be like for the trans and non binary community. Just give people their own bathroom for peep sake!

I really want to smack the person who designed bathroom stalls. Why is the gap so big?! Sometimes, I'll see toilet paper hanging down to cover the gap. It's a waste of paper, but I get it.

In Sweden we often have separate bathrooms(not bathroom stalls), especially in school. Sometimes they’re for all genders, sometimes they’re still female&male-bathrooms. i’m really thankful that you can do your business alone here though lol

@Larissa Brisa Ger Konoplyov The gaps on the bottom, I understand. I'm frustrated with the gaps between the door and the walls. It's not uncommon for children to peek into stalls when their mom's not paying attention.

Most countries with gender neutral toilets laws are going back to sex-segregated toilets. Women dont use gender neutral toilets as much as sex segregated toilets, and since the laws passed more UTI were recorder. So now those countries are forcing buildings to have sex segregated facilities for women to use.

As a non binary I can agree with the title I wear baggy clothes and a bra that makes my chest flatter it's not a binder I just forgot on how you spell it though I also have short hair so sometimes I get refered to as a boy sometimes I wear skirts because f gender roles plus it makes me really uncomfortable when people refer to me as a girl or a boy I can never seem to find gender neutral clothes for my age it's either for babies or adults so sometimes I choose "girl" clothes because they look somewhat gender neutral but if someone knows the brand that it's from they'll think I'm girl this is why I usually a oversized hoodie that's black with my school name with shorts and some knee high socks because I looks like im not male or female but of course people either assume I'm a boy or a girl it's really annoying to me thankfully if I'm with my friends they'll correct the people who assume I'm male or female because they know I'm to scared to do it

There’s also a big debate about this in the US. I don’t really know why because, we have stalls in women’s restrooms so no one can really see you. I guess it would be weirder for men since they don’t have stalls for urinals and everyone can see them pee but, all they would have to do is make stalls ceiling to floor for all the toilets/urinals and it should solve itself.

Eating disorders have a control aspect. Like, "my body doesn't dictate when and what I eat.". Especially when a person feels like they don't have control of they life in other ways. So, you holding your urine might have some roots in your need for control.

This has nothing to do with them having a disorder of some kind, it has to do with them not being able to use neither women's nor men's bathroom safely.

WE NEED THESE!!! I’m Gender fluid, I don’t feel comfortable going into either. ‘Cause I don’t wanna go in the female toilets ‘cause I don’t wanna feel uncomfortable, and I don’t wanna go in the male toilets ‘cause I don’t feel uncomfortable. 😭😭😭

In 2nd grade, while on a field trip to the zoo, one of the girls in my class tried to go to the ladies room, and a man thinking she was a boy said, “No. no, son. That’s the wrong room.” He then tried to take her into the men’s room. This led to 70+ elementary school kids screaming. We were yelling at him, yelling at the teachers, just making all the stranger danger noise we could. The poor girl had super short hair and was so scared that she couldn’t talk.

Man... This gives me flashbacks when I was in middle school... It was a quite chilly autumn day, when it's cold I usually wear my clothing combo: Big Red hoodie and Black Sweatpants Anyway, during break I had to go to the toilet so like every normal girl I go into women's restroom and I got greeted with a screams: "it's a girls restroom" "get out" and even one girl throwed a toilet paper in my direction And I just look at them and with the calmest voice and face I said "But I'm a girl" And they just look at me with 'No way' face

as a trans guy getting ready to go to school for the first time in over a year i have been thinking a lot about bathrooms because the amount of anxiety i have as someone who doesn't pass as male with transphobic parents, it is horrifying. so yeah this is a very relatable video because i don't wanna go in the men's room because they'll obviously think i'm a girl because even though i dress in a way that i could pass i was not very lucky with how my chest developed and if i bought a binder my parents would probably beat the shit out of me. yet also if i go in the women's bathroom because it's just me in there the whole time thinking about how i look like a girl and internally dying so yeah, give us our gender neutral toilet, america. public toilets are very scary for a trans person in a mostly republican state

I can really relate, buddy. But now, my mom won't let me get too short hair, so I pass easily as a girl. Still, it makes me feel out of place, when there is a bit of a crowd in there. I just get around doing my thing as fast as possible, 'cause I'm not t great at holding it in anymore. (My bladder is a very weak, and after hearing this, I really need to pee.) (•﹏•)

I’m Swedish… in schools we don’t have genderd bathrooms. But in public in the open or in maybe a theme park or a airport there is gendered bathrooms but in stores we just have like three bathrooms to pick of or wait for people to get done three sinks and that’s it, not gendered! Amazing…

I talked about this with my non-binary friend yesterday. I asked them “isn’t it embarrassing getting confused as a boy going into the women’s bathroom?” And they said they enjoyed it. I also enjoy being confused as a boy, tho idk why coz I get embarrassed and socially awkward at the slightest of things. But nope, not this.

As a generous person who has used both women's and men's bathroom, can say that in my high school at least, your depiction of the men's room was pretty accurate. I'm sorry that you have to go through this, fortunately in the U.S., Many places do provide gender neutral bathrooms. It breaks my heart that there.are places in the world that are not supportive of their LGBT+ citizens

This is relatable on so many levels for me because of my school. There’s only two gender neutral bathrooms in the whole school. The worst part being that it’s in the building that only has three classes. One of the science classes, drama, and art. I’m a trans male and it’s fricking awkward. Plus, I hate going to the bathroom in public that I’ve just learned to hold it in. I don’t even pass as a boy. I’m just saying they should really make more gender neutral restrooms just in general. It’s kinda hard when you need to use the restroom and you can’t-

Mostly in Europe they sometimes have just 1 bathroom that only has one toilet and one sink. So you can be whatever gender u want to and still go to any toilet. You just go in which one is available. Like in resterrqunts or stores. But in most pleases like 65/100 there are just two bathrooms that says female/male. But a lot of people in Europe don’t criticise you for what bathroom u go in. Unless ur a very feminine person and u hi into the guys bathroom, then u get stared at.

As a trans man I can relate because I don't pass well so when I'm at school I stare at the bathrooms trying to figure out which one to enter because for one thing going in the girls bathroom gives me gender dysphoria and I sometimes have panic attacks and if I go in the boys bathroom everyone will look at me weird so I just hold it till I go home
