Ngl though, the Simian flu would possibly be more controllable than you may think, due to the extremely high mortality rate. Funnily enough, usually dying faster from a virus does it a disservice, because it will not be able to spread anymore. Also, the possibility of survival if it is comparable to a hemorrhagic fever is definitely low, but it is still very treatable with supportive care.

I think the scariest thing about the ALZ-113 virus is implied in the Plauge Inc expansion where there is a symptom that quote "increases human inteligence, but is also deadly" This doesnt appear to be reflected in the movies but the idea of slowly becoming super inteligent as your body and then your mind dies is just horrifying... Like normally when we get sick our mental capacity is limited and in certain extreme potentially deadly cases we are left completely helpless with our brains unable to to even keep our autonomous functions stable... Now imagine having a clear mind which is even more capable of comprehending and understanding your decline than ever before... Something that does bother me is that human fine motor movements (specifically from oue hands) isn't taken into account, that's the main reason why we're among the weakest primates, we have such delicate nerves on our hands that allows us to make a lot more things than a Gorilla could for example, things like surgery, knitting, etc, that and that our bodies have the perfect balance to throw stuff with more precision and strength than other apes, perhaps they could make it that human slavery could be a key factor for the ape factions that may come, to have us like trained animals to do specific tasks that would be either too difficult for other apes or just impossible, I do hope this concept is explored, one can dream

Chimps cannot “easily rip a human arm off simply by playing”. They are nowhere near that strong. They simply have as much fast twitch muscle fiber:slow twitch muscle as the human populations with the highest ratio of fast:slow fiber. They are more explosive than humans on average, not stronger, and not faster or more resilient. In fact, a single punch is more likely to knock out a chimp than a human. Humans evolved to withstand that kind of trauma. We have larger chins, stronger necks, significantly stronger legs and pushing. Chimps are about 1.4 times stronger than humans at pulling and jumping. But they are smaller than humans, and are outperformed in absolute strength, speed, and endurance. A slightly athletic man is waaayyyy stronger than a chimp overall. They in no way will ever be able to rip off an adult’s arm. Maybe a small female, but even that is a stretch.
