Something struck me back then in the '90s. When the father was being accused of being a pedophile. There was not one person not a family member not a friend not a co-worker not one single individual walking this earth that was willing to get on that stand and say that that man was a good man and a good person. Nobody tried to deny that he was a mean individual that was capable of bad things.

This is just such a sad case. I’m not defending what they did to their parents because that was wrong. However I think that the years of abuse that they endured at the hands of their father truly broke them down mentally & physically. Their mother never protected them despite knowing what their father did to them. They probably felt alone & had no other way of handling the situation than by choosing murder. I think they have paid their dues, served enough time, & should be given an opportunity to be freed & salvage some of the time they have lost to live their lives.

I think Menendez brothers suffered ''as fall guys'' as there was this need for an example case to calm the plebs like "''see, they had money and they landed in prison''. They also opened the can of darkness society was not ready for. They sure are far less harmful and more deserving to walk free finally as many violent offenders who have walked free and re-offended, only to be released again. This being a high profile is the only reason they are keeping them in prison, not because they are a threat.

It's probably because it was proven that Gypsy Rose was abused. She was in a 'prison' most of her life by her mother. There was no motive for money, just freedom. And also, she did not actually do the killing. They caught Lyle bragging about how convincing he was during the trial crying. He also was'crying' initially when he reported the killings. Essentially, he lies and Erik can't keep a story straight. They were not in a prison in their home. Obviously, money played a big role in the whole thing.

They wanted to life of luxury and freedom If they were abused like they claimed, they could have simply left the house and filed law suit of whatever But no, they wanted the money and freedom Read below.. Shame on anyway who says they should be out Lucky they were executed already!!! On the evening of August 20, 1989, José and Kitty were standing in the den of their Beverly Hills mansion when Lyle and Erik entered the den, carrying shotguns.[15] José was shot six times, including a fatal shot in the back of the head with a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun.[16] Kitty was shot ten times in total. Before the fatal shot to her cheek, she was on the ground, slowly crawling and crying. Lyle ran to his car to reload before firing the fatal shot to her face.

Didn't you understand? It was an old letter that was written by one of the brothers before the murders happen conveying the S.A. to a family member. Meaning that, them being S.A. was true and not a made up story after the fact of the murder to get a way of murder. That the motive was not about money, but a reaction of their assaults. This new evidence will likely change and lower their sentencing guidelines and let them to be automatically released..
