​@@caseyo6033 if idiots play 3 tiers above their skill level and consistently shit on their team then they deserve to be called out. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people playing tier 9 and 10 when they neither have the #of games, or PR or avg damage to even play tier 6. It's not a coincidence then that these clowns are usually the first to die. These ones should absolutely be called out for wasting every teammate's 20 minutes.

I don't often know what I'm doing. I'm one of those really bad players who got a high tier ship far too quickly... but I do have one thing going for me.. I'll listen to my team. Back off? Ok. Target something? Will if I can. Push? I can try.

Lol @ 10:30 Sea Lord, I love it every time people incorrectly try using some "big term" like "Occam's Razor" when they're totally getting/using it wrong. Occam's Razor isn't used when trying to make a decision between two different possible courses of action, rather it's when you're thinking of reasonable explanations for something that's already happened. For example "How did the dinosaurs die off?"... Occam's Razor says that the explanation that requires the least number of assumptions is usually the correct one. AKA the most simple explanation for something is typically the correct one. Anyways, thank you for the chuckle sir.

The biggest simple mistake I see all the time are players shooting too early before DDs can adequately spot. Then they get focused by the whole team and take all the damage in the world. And typically deal none in return.

I'm getting better at that. It's important to know your concealment and that you don't have to shoot at the first thing that comes in range. A good DD player can bait people into firing on him while his colleagues are waiting in the distance to target you guys.

Hellish weather? In Texas? Well, color me surprised. ;) Just got the Schroder in Legends (she was last month's Campaign Ship), and I like her immensely. Went with an all-in Secondary build, and have since seen those Secondaries buzzsaw a healthy Iowa point blank. Main guns aren't brilliant, but aren't bad either - gotten several surprise Citadels from them. Also, for an *alleged* Cruiser, she is surprisingly tough. Schroder is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine. I hadn't thought about the necessity of switching Secondaries off under certain circumstances, but can see the utility of this. It is very much a stealthy Destroyer kind of move. Full agreement. There are times to shoot, a lot of those, and there are also times to shamelessly run and hide. Good video. Great game.

To answer your question, no ashashio torps only hit BB and CV class ships. The Cruiser would have been safe from them.. Great replay to do a play by play on..that Yukon you know was shaking his head saying, "WTF!! How did I lose that!"

Unfortunately the Schors got flack both ways. He got harrassed for running which was the best thing he could do kite and fire. Then he pushes on the bb when he should have been firing from behind an island.

Yukon could be alright if its main battery range wasn't so horrible. Got it in a Santa container, sad times. That guy whinging the whole match was great. There's always someone who dies then looks at the map without context and blames someone they don't know the situation of.

Something that always kind of irked me, if I am speaking English (as I do) I am going to pronounce a {insert other language here} word as I do in English, not necessarily how it is pronounced in the native language. In this case however, whether or not the "G" is pronounced in the German language, it is not relevant as to how it is pronounced in another language. At least to me anyway.

​@@guyintenn...while I make it a point to pronounce words from another language in the way they are meant to be pronounced, as a matter of respect to the people who'se language it is and the language itself. I manage French, Turkish, Spanish, Latin, Arabic, even Portugese, and Italien pretty well and even made inroads into Hanguk. Add to that that the English pronunciation of non-English words is actually one of the worst in the world because it's vowel values are completely different from the way most other languages are written and because of the tendency to pronounce everything at the back of the throat mangles up a lot of consonants, specifically R, L and N. It mostly renders the words annoyingly unintellegible at worst or irritatingly discombobulated at best. When I adressed SLMB about some of his pronunciations, he told me that people complained about the correct pronunciations when he used them so to please his audience, he'd rather mangle the names. I chalk it up to the merkin tendency to regard anything properly pronounced in another language als artsyfartsy and hoitytoity, which made George H.W.Bush hide the fact that he spoke lyrical French perfectly without any accent to please the crowd from Podunk.

The other point to add is WRT the DD that died early (77). While he got the cap it cost him his ship. Rushing in behind a rushing DD was definitely NOT the solution. That DD would have been so powerful in mid-late game. To his credit, he was really engaged in a positive way with the team, not just raging in the chat. BZ (setting a little educatichallenge for viewers to find out what that means) on the great game and your commentary on the great game. .... still processing the Yukon kill.... wow....

The original 1928 Zenker battlecruiser design was intended to have torpedoes, but sadly however, in their usual feat of butchering warship models, Wargaming decided to have them removed from the game and replaced with 2 additional secondary battery turrets on each side instead. Like, why would you want to do that in a game? They should have just removed those two 128's, added the 2 triple 533mm. torpedo tubes on either side to the original hull and just balanced it out by increasing either torpedo damage or buffing secondary gun accuarcy and dispersion/damage. In one situation when i had first played the Schroder, i had to chase around a fucking battleship that was damaged and on fire, hitting it with my dinky-ass HE that did nothing as much as my AP, while accompanied by the constant bouncing of my secondary shells, and at that moment, while i kept waiting to cook up an another AP salvo just to finish this guy off, i had NO TORPEDO TUBES to speak of, where i could have just instantly finished this son of a bitch near-instantaneously, but... No. I had to race full circle behind a fucking dying battleship while my secondaries were almost doing absolutely nothing to help this ridiculous situation. Seriously, what is up with Wargaming's ship model design team? Because it's terrible. Improved main gun HE fire chance with improved AP penetration and angles, Better main gun dispersion, Secondary guns with better accuarcy, dispersion, damage and fire chance, Separate Hull B modification which switches out 2 128mm. turrets in place of triple 533mm. torpedo tubes to allow for more comfortable brawling is all i would want for this ship.

The allied Schores was an idiot in that end-game. 100% newbie potato. The allied BBs Gneisenau, Iowa and North Carolina all seemed very unhelpful overall--although the NC at least lived. Sad to see they are back in I-H rows while enemy is in mid map.

Occam's razor isn't what you think it is. Occam's razor principle simply states that the simplest solution is most often the correct one. On a separate topic, this guy has terrible aim bcs he aims and shoots too fast. Take an extra half second to aim properly and see you damage numbers go up.

So, I guess that the weather was finally awful enough. Congratulations for being so cautious. Europeans never had to colonise America, with its hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes, potatoes (which can choke us) and all sort of mischievous thing-oes, plus the yellow fever, the dengue fever and the Saturday night fever. Here in Europe we are pretty comfortable with our customary black plague, our already familiar smallpox and, everybody's favourite, the biblical leprosy. So, why to go to another continent, plenty of mysterious new ways to die horribly? Ah, yes. Because of the feudal system and the lack of religious freedom giving power to the blood nobility as kings and PM of the government or as archbishops. That was a good reason to flee Europe.

Another replay with a damaged points counter. meanwhile the 4 replay i see with a green counter counting the red caps and a red counter counting the green caps. The whole points count during battle was wrong ... 1 red cap gave more points than 2 green caps ... a failure in the game''s software. According to xairon wg already knows.

My advice is when you notice a brainlet on your team, ask yourself, "How can I make use of them?". Dude is yoloing or giving broadside? Perfect opportunity to let him soak the punishment while you turn and run. Hiding behind island waifu? Go stealth and let him get run over.
