One of his best songs (just my opinion) is said (by Marcus) to have been written by a recently deceased song-writer friend of his, that came to him one sober night in his hotel room, in, (of ALL places) the south of France, appearing as an "apparition." Marcus insists that he will take "very little credit" for the writing of that song. What a wonderful GIFT the good Lord has given this young man. Marcus and the fellas are representing the hell out of SC! we got the widest main street in the country in Greenwood, SC. the best NASCAR track in Darlington, SC. the defending national champion Tigers from Clemson, SC. the best tourist attracting beach, Myrtle Beach, SC. in Spartanburg, SC the famous Beacon drive in located in Spartanburg, SC. now we have the best band and /singer to come out in the past decade at least from Greenville, SC!! I definitely agree, the super and the tube screamer allow for a nice tone, but I don't think this was mixed properly. Either too much gain on the amp or not mixed correctly because that guitar sound should be front and center and the horns drown him out during that solo.
