Excellent job, thank you for sharing it! I was wondering if you could tell us more about the welding technique you used to make the modifications in the frame and also the materials involved in it. Thanks again!
@ChrisSofos8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your kind words! I used TIG welding. The new frame was originated from a ZXR 400 Kawasaki which I had to remove the passenger's part. The material (of course) was aluminium. Then I had to do quite a few measurements in order to bring it to the correct height and positioning.

good looking bike. love the color and looks like you are running battle axes on it. love that tire. i am on fzronline too. cntryboy85 i am in the middle of a 660 build on my 95. how much modification did you have to do to the fairing mounts and the fairings them selves minus the headlights to get them to mount. i love the way it looks. i have looked a few with the r6 tail and like it but idk. i have also thought about shaving down the tail under the bubble to give it more of a pointed look.
@ChrisSofos11 жыл бұрын
I'm there too as csofos! Actually, there is a post of this bike there. It's called "Just fixed an FZR 750". It's been a couple of years i haven't been posting though. I think it's about time to start doing it again. Well, it took me a lot of hours to find the correct spots for the fairing mounts.Plus that i had to modify the fairings themselves at some point. All i had to do, was to mount them on the bike roughly and go from there. It'll take much time, but it's worth it, trust me!

Chris Sofos slow but good!! i got her a horn, painted the 2 side ba fairings dark blue, with a shiney clear, and same blue on the tank with sating clear coat. i de rusted the tank with metal rescue, works like a boss!! gave it a blood red seal. its sitting right now for winter, no garage to work in. when its a bit warmer, head gasket and valvr gasket need changed, bubbles be leakin so it tells me there bad, it does it all around. so ima skio a compression check and just change those just incase. i still need to to small uper left and right fairing, and the 2 biger left n right fairings. u can see it here instagram.com/cloudymotovlog needs alot of work, signals aswell. but i got those here. i would still love a professions help sadly the ones who know this bike seem to me thousa.ds of miles from me haha. i need a windshield aswell. i got new tires and will take the rims off when i or a lift or somthing, i will be painting them a brighter red, maybe a powder coat. i may buy new small parts, chain and what not. but she runs ajd works. nothing compaired to your sexy bitch!! hahahaha

@ChrisSofos10 жыл бұрын
Cichy VideoMotoVlog Unfortunately no! I had to do some major mod on the fzr's frame. I had to widen up the frame to the joining point with the swing arm. Also, I had to machine the wheel's chain gear drum, in order to align it with the engine's chain gear.
