After doing yoga with you for 4 years I wound up spending 6 months in and out of the hospital with my husband of 42 years who passed in August. I am finally back on the mat trying to heal my body and mind. Thank you Adrienne.

I agree! I get frustrated especially when I feel like I'm eating more healthily plus being more active but will still get colds and fever. 😟

Adriene, to receive this 21 minute recovery yoga this morning was such a gift towards healing after I too have been sick for almost 3 weeks now and still am trying to stop coughing/wheezing and recover my voice - I’m so sorry that you too have been ill and you said it truly when you said ‘appreciating that we are still here’ or still alive - Because there were a few days of this illness that made me question whether I would be - Thank you and to all the others voicing similar messages I wish you all healing…..❤

You're not alone! Everyone I talk to (myself included) has either been sick recently or is sick now. I'm still fatigued over a week after recovering from the flu. Just gotta take one day at a time

Thank you so much, dear Adriene. I just had surgery for my 2nd miscarriage of the year and my heart, body, soul and mind feel broken into infinite jagged pieces from the pain of all of this. I feel you so much. I just found out a few days ago about my missed abortion. Now I am waiting and hoping it will "come out" (sorry, English is not my mother tongue, don't know if that's appropriate to say) naturally. Thank you for talking openly about this, it is SUCH a big topic that stays in the dark way too much. I was so happy to find out that this month's topic is "Ease", it couldn't be better. I hope you can find calm, rest and connection to your beautiful and strong body and mind. Sending you so much love! And a huge thank you to Adriene for this community. This is just what I needed today! I'm at day 11 from when I had my first tickle in my throat. I felt like you were talking directly to me when you spoke about how frustrating it can be when it takes so long to recover. Being sick can be so isolating, but I see from the other comments that I'm not the only one suffering from illness. I wish all the viewers healing as they are on the road to recovery.

A meditation for trauma/complex trauma/ptsd would be awesome! Something to help trauma visuals and flashbacks, work with where you are, settle and find ease, release negative thoughts and feelings, and find what feels good of course! ❤ Please like if you agree, because it would be nice if it was more likely to be seen!

Just what I needed after 3 weeks of an ongoing case of bronchitis. Yesterday was my first day back on the mat in months(yoga for a cold). I always feel better physically and emotionally when doing yoga every morning and am frustrated when I let life get in the way of that. My immune system thanks you Adrienne for your free yoga for all!❤

I had the flu for 3 weeks, was better for 2 days and came down with Covid 2 weeks and still a bit sick.I have been sick the entire month of Sept. last week I wasn’t sure If I was going to be here. Thank you Adriene for this practice. I’m slowly getting better but still weak, low energy, muscle aches and coughy. My kitty has been a wonderful companion and friend and constantly by my side. The anxiety of illness is so strong, thank you for your calming presence.

2 years in from recovering from my concussion. Even the arm stretches were too much to me and even talking with another person for more than 5 minutes is too much the last week. Thanks for your words in the last bit, Adriene, patience can be hard after 2 years but I'll keep on fighting to survive this and heal from this ♥️

UNION ♾ | November 26, 2023 | I can't wait to come back to this loving practice, but I'm saving it for tomorrow so I can't do tomorrow's full hour practice today when I have more time! 🙏 Edited to add: So glad I switched these two practices around, this was the perfect practice to bring some calm into a busy workday, and I'm full of gratitude for NOT feeling sick today, so I got to really just enjoy the lovely stretches and breathing!

My first day back! Adrienne, I always say you know exactly what I need at exactly the right moment. After two weeks in bed, I wanted so bad to get on my mat. When I searched for just the right practice, I couldn’t believe you had just presented us with this perfect practice. I love your “live” bolster and I too have my furry friend who is the calmest poodle you’d ever meet since having been raise on the mat! Thank you. ❤

I have been in and out of a cold for about 2 weeks… and the most recent version includes a cough which is exhausting. This practice was perfect and helped me feel into my body. I’m praying for my health to return soon! Thank you Adriene for this lovely practice!❤

Thank you immensely for this. I'm on day 4 of my first ever COVID infection and I'm uncomfortable, exhausted, and stir crazy from isolating in my bedroom to keep my family from getting sick. This was perfect for me and felt like the best gift. ❤

I broke my foot at the end of September. Had to pause my practice for four weeks. Now I have the flu for two weeks already. I am grateful for this practice, my body wants to move again. I am sick of being sick. Thank you Adriene. 🧡💛🤍

Today I had decided to go the gym for the first time in several weeks, but realised my body still feels terrible. So, I thought I could at least do a simple yoga practice, to get my body used to movement again, in a slow soft gentle way. And THIS is the most recent video!? It’s practically a sign. Hi! Love your teachings 🥰 I don't know if this is a silly question, but I would be so grateful for a guided practice for facial tension and TMJ. I've had chronic jaw pain for about 15 years now and get so much from your videos. I know it's probably an unusual request, so thank you for all you're already doing!

In the fall of 2020 I was in a bad accident, as a result I suffered injuries to the C1, S1 through L5 disks in my spinal chord and fractured my coccyx, and chipped a piece from my tail bone. the pain was intense, walking was difficult, and I felt like I would always be in pain. The depression from the injury made me feel hopeless and useless. At physical therapy I couldn't press more then 35lbs with my legs, so the therapist mentioned Yoga. I started watching your channel and began learning how to heal through the yoga you teach, I been practicing ever since. Thank you for the content you create, it has helped me get my life back.

I don’t know how you do it but I’ve been sick for about a month (covid/flu/cold/allergies/whatever) and finally felt like I had to find one of your sessions to help and this one was just posted 3 days ago?! Having just had THE SICKNESS, I found this a lovely way to get back to practicing. Very restorative. I even brought a stuffed animal dog along to rep Benji!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Ease Day - 3 is healing and soothing. I just completed the practice at 1:10 A.M. on Day - 4. My days have been running together. I have been resting 😴 the time that I aim to rise around 4:30 A.M. and rising around the time I like to rest when I'm on a disciplined schedule. My goal is to return to a bedtime 🌙 of 10:00 P.M. Lately, I have been working 💪🏿ridiculously late. I'm trying to find balance and return to a bedtime within the 24 hours in one day. The issue is this Gregorian Calendar, which is not the natural order of things. Ah, I digress knowing that I will resume a healthy schedule. Best wishes, everyone!🦋♥️🦋

Thank you, Adriene. It was exactly what I needed today after 6 months without doing any yoga because my mind was not up to it. It was too much to handle. I've been sick for the past week and finally decided to get back to the mat. I've been doing this practice for the past 4 days and I've just let out tears of joy remembering how wonderful your practices make me feel every time. Thank you for your work and gentleness.

Today I switched today’s video for Union Day 5 with this video, because I’m having the worst seasonal allergies and immediately knew that this would be the perfect video for today :) Although my allergy symptoms are still very prevalent, I feel more relaxed after doing this :) When I did this video when it came out a month or so ago, I remember thinking that it’d be the perfect video to revisit when I inevitably get seasonal allergies. Now that that time has come, I’ve kept my month-old promise and glad I did :)

Thank you for this 😍 Day three of a cold and this was a beautiful way to gently move my body, while also honouring it's healing. I also have a chronic illness, so will definitely keep this one in mind for those days when movement is a struggle 💛💛💛

Two days in bed with a doozy flu, feeling furry and feeble 😊 Knew I needed to a) have a shower b) do some yoga! This was just the best thing, thank you so much. The happy baby pose was sublime, almost emotional! 🙏🙏

When this video came online, I thought it might be a nice easy practise for an evening since I "had nothing to recover from". Had my wishdomteeth removed and I was in so much pain last few days... this practise made me relax, felt like a warm hug❤ This will really help me recover, thank you so much for your loving care in your videos!❤❤❤

Lovely soothing practice, thank you. Seeing a lot of people posting about being sick and my heart goes out to them. Just a reminder that covid is still spreading constantly and a lot of us are experiencing a wave that's similar to the winter. Covid is sars2, a vascular virus, and can lead to a lot of long term complications and is typically why colds/flus feel much worse after a "mild" covid infection. Mask up, especially with N95 grade respirators and stay safe heading into the fall/winter.
