Lauren, I've done almost all of your classes and hands down, this is my very favorite. Though entitled gentle, I received an extensive workout for this 70-year old body. Please consider more like this; it was also a soothing class! Thank you so much.

thank you for taking your time out i had a break in my spine three years ago from jumping off a Bridge in a popular diving area that ended up being too shallow!!! I hit my right leg on the bottom of the lakes floor at about 20 ft. The injury really set me back its a learning process as well as the brain readjusting to the spines break. I ended up at a local chiropractor who did an amazing job and he always recommended Yoga as I am banded from the gym due to orders from the professionals. I feel very optimistic about my future dates with the gym, but for now this work out you presented to me is a miracle and makes me want to go revisit my chiropractor and tell him he was right. I have grown within this injury in so many positive ways and although the world is going to work against me for the rest of my life I do have a choice!!! Thank you for the beginning of a new journey for me I am so enlightened. !!!!

This was a great workout that challenged my balance especially with the warrior poses but I haven't used my ball in a long while and I think I need to add more air as my grandchildren have been playing with it for some time. I loved the stretches at the end. I followed with your gentle stretches for back pain relief which felt wonderful!

Glad it was a good workout for you. Check your ball sizing too. If it is too big I can understand it causing a balance challenge. Letting out air or adding air will allow for a few inches either bigger or smaller. Ideally, you want a 90 degree angle from your hips and a 90 degree angle from your knees

I’m starting to add your classes to my list. I like them when I’ve done a mean hike or jumped around getting my steps. I also like that you do seated or standing classes. I can’t see the darn action if it’s on the floor! I prop my ipad up on an old music stand and it’s perfect. I also like your explanations. Thank you very much.

Hi Lauren, I was wondering your thoughts on using a yoga chair ball for chair workouts. A friend suggested using one, but I think I am better off saving my money and using my kitchen chair as I have been doing as I think it would be more stable for me having bad Arthritis and Sciatica thanks.

Hi Paula. I have had several viewers say that they do the chair workout on a ball. I appreciate their creativity, however, they were not designed to do most of the moves on a ball and you would therefore have to modify many of the exercises. I say save your money so you also don't have to worry about falling off or making modifications :)

Oh my my - let me try to share shortly, lol - I am 65, and I have had 6 surgeries on my feet back in 2015 and went from of course having to ONLY sit for many years, then learning to stand, walk, etc. but up until today I have NOT been able to figure out what I could do that maybe may help me and I remembered I had one of these balls in the basement for years and never used it, lol - So late last night I thought let me see and I did not finish the entire video but came very close and it just made me feel so good. I will look for all your video's and I will do whatever I can to promote you! I was a flight attendant and know "many" people and even the senior centers should know about this. Anyway, just know if I can help you in any way, I'd do it. Now I do wonder though will this type of workout help with weight loss too? I put on some weight just sitting and need to toss out 20 lbs, lol - I guess because I was able to do it, I felt it may not do much but then again I honestly don't know anything about the ball nor yoga - I'd love for you to share back with me - Big Greek HUGS!!!! I enjoyed using my stability ball again. But I had to laugh when you started rolling down and resting your shoulders on the ball!! I'm 80! I would definitely end up in ER if I tried that. But the yoga stretches are really good and you are so beautiful to watch. I just pretend I'm looking in the mirror as I follow. LOL

I would love to try this one but although I purchased a ball based on my height I feel it’s too small. The ball is as inflated as it can be but when I sit on it my hips are much lower than my knees and it’s very uncomfortable. So disappointed. ☹️

If the ball is brand new sometimes it need to stretch out a bit, then it can be blown up more. Try to give it more air again. But only do the workout if your comfortable. As you said, if your hips are too low it’s not great.

Yes, it's designed to be both strengthening and stretching for the hips. Make them feel great! If it's uncomfortable for you Vicki, I would just keep the movements small.
