This intuitive movement practice invites you to get to know your body. You will be guided to notice what your body needs in order to release stress and feel more present in the moment. Intuitive movement may feel foreign and uncomfortable at first, so I encourage you to revisit this type of practice often to get used to moving your body in a way that feels natural and allows you to release stress and tension.
This is a great beginner yoga practice and incorporates concepts of Trauma Informed Yoga as a way to start or deepen your mental health journey in order to feel more calm, regulated, and at ease daily. Yoga for mental health is a wonderful resource to add to your toolbox for self-improvement.
