Yoga With Adriene definitely! You’re my absolute favorite yoga teacher/yogi. You’re so informal I love it how you just say what ever comes to your mind during making your videos/practicing. Thank you so much for everything! I found yoga thanks to you and it’s made such a huge impact in my life. I feel so much better and I could say it’s changed my whole life, really. Came to this practice with a heavy mind today. Even though I've claimed to be calm as this pandemic has taken over our lives, this morning I was filled with thoughts of how I should be approaching this quarantine, what I ought to be doing with myself, my kids, my time... and how I've fallen well short of my ideal execution in those areas. But I went through the practice feeling good in my body and was really proud of myself for showing up... THEN at the end, Adriene said, "Be yourself today. Be kind to yourself" and I burst into tears. I realized all those thoughts I'd had this morning were about me not accepting myself and being hard on myself (again) instead of giving myself some time and space to get through all the uncertainty. Thank you, Adriene (once again), for being the friend I didn't know I needed today. Namaste ❤️

I've been excited about these short but energizing morning practices because my work schedule is rather demanding. However this morning I came to my mat nervous about the inversion and speed to start because I was nauseous. What Adriene has taught me over the last two years is that it's ok to take the tools you have at hand to take care of yourself. I wanted to beat up on myself for pausing a 15 min video but I paused it, took a couple of deep breaths and continued and I'm starting to benefit from the practice now and not feel as sick. Ty! As always, you're an angel.

I’m have to post this. Normally I put two yoga mats out, one for me and one for our dog, Coal, who sits on my yoga mat. Today as I was laying face down stretching my arms doing cobra pose he took his chew toy and proceeded to LAY ON TOP OF ME FULL BODY and chew on his toy. He’s a black lab/valley bull mix. There wasn’t anyone in the house to take a picture. All I could do was laugh with my face in the mat. Dogs teach us so much. Have a wonderful holiday everyone.xo

I highly recommend not only YWA but look into some meditation (I prefer kundalini-yoga meditation), breathwork, grounding/earthing and spending more time in nature to survive LA..... And CBD is a nice way to unwind on hard days that your at home but pressed for time. Sat Nam

Started today in a bit of a funk, worrying about work and my seemingly never-ending to-do list...BUT I promised myself I would get up and do this practice first thing. I think the word 'sunrise' in the title inspired me :) After 15 minutes on the mat, my work is still there to be done but my focus has shifted away from myself and noticing the small joy in moments. Two colleagues have messaged to say good morning, normally this would be par for the course but today I noticed it and reflected on it, and sent those good wishes back and to two others. It's amazing how yoga can bring out this small stream of joy within - I hope everyone practicing has this revelation and may you all have a wonderful day.

I love this practice because it's short enough to convince yourself to hit the mat on those mornings when you're trying to talk yourself out of showing up, or you're in a big rush. But it moves at just enough of a pace to get some good circulation going to start the day. A little variation I'd recommend is at the last roll-up after the wide-legged poses, go for a jai namaste when you reach arms overhead to get that extra jolt of energy 😊

I did this practice a year ago, and I love it then. I've done it today 1 year, and 199 days of daily yoga later. I still love it, it is a beautiful rejuvenating yoga practice that fills you with joy. Even though it is a morning practice by name, I've actually done it before going to bed. It has made me feel calm, and has helped, to quiet some of my monkey mind. Thank you so much Adriene, you have really changed my life for the best. I love our daily yoga practices together, and look forward to tomorrow's, see you there. Namaste. 🙏🧡🦋

Today's practice reminded me of my own strength. The practices this past week made me feel so tired and sore and weak. Today I felt strong and capable. The times when we feel tired and weak are building us up and taking us to the next level. Let's fly!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! This practice is very sentimental of Day - 21 of the Energyze journey. It was sweet to return to the session that was my introduction to the YWA Community. It was a sweaty one this afternoon. I am preparing for my first yoga session today on International Yoga Day 2022 since the pandemic. I am thrilled to be apart of this community and share the gift of yoga 🧘🏾♀️ with others. Namaste and Ase! 🦋♥️🦋

Since the beginning of this year I have been struggling with a lot of stress, anxiety, depression and lack of self love. Yesterday I said I was going to do something to stop my misery, and found and informed myself about yoga. I am starting a 30 day yoga challenge to motivate myself, and continue after that because I want to see a change in me, just like everyone else has in these comments

Well, you might find this a bit brutal but i do it both in the morning and at night time due to having a mild cerebral palsy disorder which calls for doing it at both times. My leg muscles start to uniformly shrink if i miss a stretch session. That's the "drag" about it as i like to call it

I’m so sure this was my very first video of YWA - I could feel it in my gut, remembering that it was a 15min morning yoga and started off standing. Introduced by Khanacademy during the early stages of the lockdown 2020. My first impression was “there are a lot of plants in the background”. I was so in the blue of what to expect and how to proceed. But Adriene’s grounding and positive energy made me want to explore yoga more than ever and I started by going to the foundations of yoga and starting from the beginning to get a good sense and practice. Yoga is most certainly the best thing that has ever happened to be, with the support and guidance of you, Adriene. I am forever thankful for what yoga brought me and continues to bring me.

I have to say, I'd never tried yoga before, but my back has always been one of the main body parts to give me problems with stiffness and discomfort. Well, I too, found Adrienne, and wow...my back does not hurt anymore. Even my breathing is better, as I've become more self-aware of it. Thank you for you and Benji sharing your mornings with us! I can see that yoga definitely works for me. And Adrienne is sooooo funny lol I love it!

So glad this one was scheduled for today. Generally, I am fairly present and not moved by the mind much. However, last night my director messaged that we had something to talk about and to meet first thing in her classroom. This is the kind of thing that really throws the mind off and causes it to run and run. When such undefined messages from the director come, they generally mean a criticism is coming. So even after this helpful sequence, stress is still felt. I do have to say that all the practice with yoga and with returning to presence has helped tremendously. I still slept through the night and the running thoughts, although frequent, don't individually last that long, so essentially they simply leave me with a tired feeling. Embody day 25. 537 days in a row.

As most people will know, there is so much to do at the weekend and doing this session on Sunday morning at silly o'clock does help me to release my body for maybe for another practise or just the day ahead. Adriene speaking softly and calm but also having a bright background helps me on this dark wet Autumn morning in England and of course seeing Benji crashed out, makes my day. Thanks Adriene :)

Blessed Beloved Embody Yogis!🌸 I absolutely adore this practice. It is the first experience of YWA. Formally, I practiced this session twice/day when I had a stressful job (the top of the morning and on every lunch break). This session is a moment of gratitude for me and quite nostalgic. I did this practice the morning of a procedure Feb 2021. Today, I returned to my headstand practice for the first time in years. It felt great. I stopped practicing it when I was diagnosed with countless fibroids. Today, three years after that diagnosis all fibroids are dead and I feel like myself again (this is my second public announcement). I wrote a poem about that horrific experience and shared in a virtual performance. It was emotional. I hope to help other women that have gone through it or who may be experiencing it now. Ah, back to that headstand. I did it against the wall. It felt, so amazing. I will return to it regularly except during Mother Nature visits. Well, I love you guys and I am thankful for this safe space. Best wishes everyone! Namaste and Ase! 🦋❤️🦋
