Listening to you play the melodic piece in the middle of this video, reminded me of my local music store owner and how well he played. I was really young and I asked him, "What are you doing here? Why are you not in a successful band?" As if it should have been obvious he said, "I've got to go fishing". I finally understand what he meant. Thanks to you and Paul for sharing these guitars. Paul's work is absolutely stunning.

Back in 93(?) when I was in my late teens, I talked to Paul about this very guitar at a Boston guitar show. If my memory serves me, he priced it to be over 10 grand which at that time was insane for new guitar. I had no idea who he was and had not heard of his guitar brand. I do remember this particular guitar though. The artwork in the fretboard was so detailed. Seeing this vid was really cool.

I'm late to the PRS party, but I just recently got my first PRS: a PRS SE 594 and I love it so much! It scratches the Les Paul itch that I've had for so long. I've always had a love/hate relationship with the LP as a guitar. I once owned a Gibson Les Paul classic that I ended up selling. I find them heavy, the necks too chunky with a flat radius I don't like, and humbuckers that generally feel like they don't have enough versatility for me. The PRS is lightweight, has a lovely feeling neck with an incredible fast action and coil tapped pickups that give me that versatility. I also love the look of the PRS design as well. These guitars are stunning!

I really love these guitars. When I was maybe 12 one of them found its way into a Mars music (now Sam Ash) in Cincinnati. The guy behind the counter had no idea what he was handing me and didn't check the price tag, hell I had no idea what he was handing me, but it started a mini obsession with owning a PRS. I finally managed to get a custom 24 a couple of years ago at the ripe old age of 33. Not quite a dragon, but a real piece of art in its own right.

I remember the one and only time I've seen a dragon in person. I would have been 13 or 14 at the time, and my mom took me into Garrett Park Music in Annapolis, MD, just a short trip across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from Stevensville, where the PRS factory is. I had no idea PRS was even a company...I knew Fender and Gibson, but this was new. And they had a Dragon in a glass case with a 30k price tag on it. Pictures simply cannot convey how BEAUTIFUL the Dragon inlays are...that was over 20 years ago now, and the image is still burned into my brain.

They flew her to the hospital in a helicopter… She’s 9 years old and is fighting with everything she has! She’s born in the year of the water dragon, according to the Chinese calendar (winter 2012). Look it up yourself it is 100% true… :) I’m pretty nervous even though the doctors believes she will get through it fine. I’m only 15 and my parents is scared to shit as well so it’s pretty tough to be me right now. We’re also on vacation and it’s a little island so that that doesn’t make it better either. All this can sound pretty selfish “Aah here are all my problems in life bla bla bla) but thank you very much for your time and understanding. Isak:)
