We are all uniquely made and listen to it. Eat plant, canivore, keto or fruitraian. We eat healthy so that we can have a quality life so that we can be a blessing to one another. I know of people who are still living as above categories for 30, 40 years. Avoiding junk etc etc. All man made is the problem. Once your rid of all and give your body a chance, feed it all single ingredient based it will mend it self. God bless ❤😊

by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Depending on your lifestyle, it can be really hard to fill all that extra free time. If you want a fast to be easy, start it when you are very busy

I've learned vegetables and fruit have been modified from wild to be edible by making them sweeter and naturally contain chemicals to protect themselves from predators, like us. Grains, seeds, nuts, rice, legumes naturally contain phytic acid which block absorption of nutrients. Soaking at least overnight or fermenting removes it. I have joint pain and digestive issues when I eat any of these, and cravings. My food eats my vegetation.
@TheRoadtoHealth

I have definitely heard about soaking nuts and pressure cooking vegetables to make them edible. My concern is that we think we can undo what nature has done. The correct order of operations is the herbivore eats veg and then the carnivore eats the herbivore. Humans digestive tract is actually more carnivore in nature than herbivore. Something to note. Thanks for the opportunity to share that thought.

Well said, my friend! I am just realizing that store-bought fruits and vegetables are not as beneficial as they used to be, for many of the reasons that you noted. Unless we eat organic foods we are poisoning the flora in our gut that naturally are there to help us maintain optimum health. We all must take control of our diets and learn as much as we can about the foods we eat regularly. Perhaps, we may then cure ourselves without the aid of damaging pharmaceuticals and the doctors who profit from prescribing them.

I actually haven’t consumed fruit in years now as a strict carnivore of 5+ years. I still get the sweet tasting flavour of apples from a shot of apple cider vinegar in my 2.2litre bottle of water👌🏻 We also know that the vitamin C in fruit competes with glucose for uptake by the body since our vitamin C receptors mistake glucose for vitamin C. So you’re only getting half of the vitamin C present in fruits, and then the dietary sugar is causing more inflammation and oxidation within the body, more reactive oxygen species, which requires more vitamin C needed for it’s antioxidant properties, and so on-so essentially using fruit as a vitamin C source is counterproductive. The less glucose we have in our diet the less vitamin C we require in our diet. But yeah, great video!🤙🏻

If you are diabetic, yes, apples, bananas, papaya will be bad for you, but you can still eat blueberries, strawberries. 21st century fruit is nowhere near the same as real fruit. Waaaay more fructose has been bred into the modern hybrids. For no other reason than to develop addiction in the user. HBA1C does not register circulating fructose in the blood. The body does not recognize the differences between glucose, fructose, lactose, or any other sugar that can be metabolized. People run around saying dietary cholesterol is the boogie man but it is actually dietary sugar of any kind. Dietary sugar of any kind is last resort emergency use only until you can obtain real food which is meat. Do what you want and believe what conforms to your world view. Don't believe anything I wrote here but look it up for yourself. Embrace the truth or continue lieing to yourself.

@montycora
@montycora 11 ай бұрын
@@Cake1848 - yes, she is right about that, all carbohydrates are converted to glucose. The only difference is that fructose needs to be metabolized by the liver first before that happens. Keto is doable long term, in fact I think I should, and it is sustainable, and you CAN eat fruit on keto. There are a lot of fruits that are ok on keto, but she is demonizing those as well. keto can be incredibly nutritious if done right by a dietician for you. My fruit consumption is limited to only local in-season strawberries, and occasionally local in-season blueberries. The early crop is available in Victoria from June to early July, and the late crop from August to mid-September. Over that period (June-Sept), we will probably buy half a dozen small baskets. A serving for me is 6 medium strawberries, or 15 blueberries (~1/4 cup), which we have with some whipping cream. The small basket will give us 3 servings each (over 3 days), then we won't have any for a couple of weeks.

The phrase "eat an apple on going to bed and you'll keep the doctor from earning his bread." was first seen in an 1866 publication from Wales. Of course in those days you went to bed at sundown and rose at sun up , then performed some type of manual labor all day. So people probably weren't suffering from sleep deprivation, and the apples weren't GMO to be the size of your head in the 1800's. The more familiar phrase "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." was coined in 1913. It's hard to dispel something that we have simply parroted for over a hundred years. I view fruit as a once in a while treat. Not a health food.

Prior to this you said they are adding chemicals to fruit to make it sweeter, who do you think is approving this… the FDA. How can you trust them. I hope everyone finds their way to great health. 💕💕

I’m in my 60s and recently ended my vegan and lots of fruit journey. I also lost weight and felt great. However the health issues that arose were muscle loss and insulin resistance (I guess I did it wrong). If you’re in your 30s, no problem. But as we age the no problem can slowly become a big problem. All the best!

The answer is - you CAN'T trust the FDA; or the USDA, ADA, AHA, or ANY of the large institutions or corporations - they're ALL pushing the low-fat, high carb, plant-based, seed-oil message.

When we do a juice fast, we lose weight because we are not eating processed food and because we lower the amount of energy we consume. The problem is that most people do not know that their liver is being overworked during that fast. I would not trade weight loss for damaging my liver. This is important to look into. Dr Maggs gives us the information about what the FDA reports because it shows that fruit is not necessary to eat. This information is accurate. What is most important for me is that you can get all the vitamins and minerals you need from meat, the first item listed. I hope this clarifies and helps you make good decision about your health.

I tell her it's inflammation from all the Sugars(carbs). Milk is loaded with Carbs(Sugars). Is or was one of her favorites. The next day I will eat the fruit appropriate for last nights carbohydrate ( watermelon), protein (papaya) or fat meal(pinapple). Its because carbohydrate fat and protein sit in your digestibe tract until yhe next day and the enzymes in the fruit help to digest and flush out the remains from the night before you load your stomach with the next meal. you should wait at least 3 hours before switching from fruit to veg to dinner foods and nrver combine foids together

I think people living within the cities on the main land who depend on the store and purchase their food from markets might not be getting the same quality food as what you get from the nature yourself. I think she is directing her message to those who are caught up in the poor nutrition of the Standard American Diet. So, for her, who doesn't like fruit, and getting off processed foods, she needed to undo damage. Imho she wants to encourage those who are unhealthy and sugar addicted to reverse a problem, as she stated, she was overweight and facing surgery. I personally avoid all flours and grains. My body does not like any of them. I feel amazing with meat, fish, fruit, veggies and sunshine. 🙂

In 2005 when I was diagnosed as a 1.5 Diabetic the naturopath told me he followed Dr. Bernstein. Dr. Bernstein is a type one diabetic, from the age of 12 he’s currently 89 years old. He hasn’t had fruit since the 70s. When I mention this to any doctors they tell me I need my fruit, I need the color of the rainbow blah blah blah. They’re just doing what they were taught without being able to actually think. So I just stopped mentioning what I do and don’t eat to Western medical doctors. In fact looking back and knowing what I know now every western medical doctor, I’ve seen has caused more harm to my diabetes. Eat more carbs take more insulin. And don’t forget statins for everyone no matter if your blood test come out really good. 🤦‍♀️ If statins are the answer why does heart disease continue to be the number one killer? I’m starting functional medicine and I can’t wait!

I have heard about oxalates in veg. That is another video, though. Thanks for sharing this information for the wellness warriors who want to dig deeper and do more research.

Your liver makes oxalates anyway. Even on carnivore Your body metabolises them.if it does not its a metabolic issue caused by dangerous environmental toxins.many fruits ans veg have zero to low oxalates

Difficult to find low fructose fruits. Even harder to find fruits that are both low in fructose and low in histamines. The only one I can find is apricots. If you are histamine intolerant - it gets very complicated. Thanks for opening my eyes to the fructose issue beyond high fructose corn syrup in sodas. Real eye opener!!!

Thanks for sharing. I have not looked into the histamine portion but the fact that many people have allergic reactions is a sign to me that our body is rejecting fruits. It is curious that we are taught to fight what our body tells us is healthy. I hope your comment helps other wellness warriors to question forcing themselves to eat what the body is rejecting.

@@TheRoadtoHealth what really confuses me is the so called "super foods" are extremely high in histamines. It really complicates things for people that are histamine intolerant. Avocado is a good example of this. I cannot touch it even if I take DAO enzymes with it. I really miss them! lol Thank you for your work!

Thanks for sharing another doctor who I can learn from about fruit, I will look for his videos on this topic. Frustrating that he did not show up for me when I look for this information. Understanding how fruit impacts health and keto progress is so important.

I do great with fruit as long as it's not too sweet, and not too much, along with quality animal products. Beer is great for me too,… on the lighter side of alc. %, and non-pasteurized.
