"You've Been Embarrassed!" Piers Morgan SLAMS James Barr On Snow White's Woke Remake

Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by actor and wrestler Dylan 'Hornswoggle' Postl and comedian and LGBT activist James Barr to debate the diverse casting of Disney's live action remake of Snow White and The Seven Dwarves - which only features one actor with dwarfism.
Dylan, who has dwarfism, explains that it is already hard enough for actors in his community to get roles as they can only really play characters like dwarves, leprechauns and elves - so to take the few options they have away from them is distasteful. He uses Hugh Grant playing an Oompa Loompa with the help of CGI in the upcoming 'Wonka' film as another example of this.
Piers then slams James' take that this very diverse set of actors playing the dwarves is progressive, as it is restricting a different minority, that being of dwarf actors and that James' stance 'stinks' of "woke hypocrisy".

I remember watching a video at a BLM protest. A young black woman who was protesting started talking to a black cop, spitting out the usual empty rhetoric at him. He talked reasonably and intelligently with her and after a while she began to talk more naturally, a proper conversation. And I'll always remember this part: he said to her that (paraphrasing) "in a minute one of these white progressive 'allies' will insert herself into our conversation and try to prevent you from talking to me". Sure enough, a obese pink-haired white girl starts pushing her way, talking over her and him, trying to speak on her behalf "she doesn't want to talk to you", etc. A real eye opener. These woke types literally see themselves as saviours of minority groups, who they've infantilised, like a parent who needs to guide and control unruly children who don't know how to behave properly.

This is my main problem with this show, along with many other debates I find online, is that these people wont be civil debaters! they will talk over each other and won't let themselves finish their points, it becomes a shouting match. you win a debate not only by being the most logical, but the most well mannered and respectful of the view's and opinions of others. Along with that, by allowing the opinions that you don't often hear to be fully stated, you can allow yourself opportunities to understand perspectives that you may not have considered, or the opportunity to rebound of of those completed points, which could allow for more thought out and complete responses and critiques.

A couple weeks ago, I had a dream where I -- a 6', 230lbs dude -- was transported to a supernatural world inhabited by Dwarves. Magic existed, but it wasn't as prevalent as normally shown -- it's mostly used for beneficial reasons, such as medicine, safety, removing poverty and hunger, and disposing of trash. Mystical creatures roamed about, unafraid and equally important to the Dwarves. Everything was suited for short statures, and I always had to hunch over just to enter someone's house or other establishments. The people were utterly surprised and nervous that a giant like myself had befriended the local cable guy, walking around and towering over others. Toward the end of the dream, I was thrust into battles against fierce, black Glitch Wolves. If I could write a movie script, I'd totally give real Dwarf actors a promising job!~

Spot on mate. His financial freedom lets him pick and choose what he wants. He doesn’t have to work a day in his life ever again if that’s his wish. Now he thinks he can speak for everyone in his community even though most actors, not even just dwarves, would do anything for a big Hollywood role like this. These roles could potentially be breakthroughs for them as well. At the end of the day this is a story, not rela life so I just don’t understand why we need to be so afraid of hurting someones feelings. Why do Disney even remake Snow White if the story is so out of touch with today’s society? If this plot and charachters are so harmful, why bother remaking it? Just make a different film, but no Disney just wants the easy money grab. They aren’t innovators anymore, they just remake old classics into live action and hope for the best. This will also lose them tens of millions of dollars. The executives there are so out of touch with reality, it wouldn’t surprise me if none if them had been to a public space by themselves filled with regular people for many years. They don’t know what their audience and fans would like to see, they just go for the easy way out. Walt Disney is rolling around in his grave now the poor man.
