Your brain is always listening and responding to the hidden influences (dragons) that breathe fire on your emotional brain. Unless you recognize and deal with them, they can steal your happiness, ruin your relationships, and damage your health.
During this event, Dr. Amen will show you simple techniques on how to recognize your dragons, soothe your emotions, break bad habits, addictions and boost overall brain health.
Dr. Amen will be hosting this 90-minute talk on KZbin with 15 minutes of Q&A.
Preorder his new book before the event to access the free gifts: yourbrainisalwayslistening.com/

My grandmother taught to never speak ill of myself or call myself old. Be honest with myself, but don't call myself names. The body is listening so don't be negative to oneself. She lived to be 94.

I always say I will never be old because I don’t feel old. Really truly so many ways I believe age is a state of mind as much as it is physical. I’m in my 50s and mentally I feel like I’m in my 20s and 30s. We just have to make sure to stay as healthy as we can treat our bodies well and yes, tell ourselves good positive things all the time. Peace to all of you.❤❤

I see where you are starting a course to train people on how to read brain scans. My suggestion is that you convince the VA to get their techs this training as it will be huge leap forward in helping vets with PTSD. I know that this definitely could help ""THE WOUNDED WARRIOR ORGANIZATION " which is doing great work with returning vets.

I do love to listen to you but I have to say step 2 is in fact the opposite of the brain.. it's to stop using your brain which has made awful choices in the past and belive in a power greater than your brain! Step 5 is about admitting your defects so one can begin the journey of taking responsibility and making amends. Forgiveness of self and others.

I'm not saying I have the judgmental dragon or anything, but I think we should come up for a better name for him. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 You mentioned March 10, 2020 as a significant date for you. That was the day my dad died from a brain infection. We were so consumed with visiting him and all that was going on with him that we were not aware of the storm brewing with the whole Covid thing. I was so shocked when they told us that we could only have 50 people at his funeral. It was very hurtful. Of course later we were just thankful we could hold a funeral.

Also, I wonder if Dr. Amen’s clinics are preferred providers for health insurance bc I imagine that the vast majority of his listeners (who are not wealthy celebrities like Miley Cyrus) would not be able to afford to go to his clinics (let alone afford the supplements he recommends)…especially since a great deal of people’s stress is financial, and there are no supplements that can change that kind of stress.

Now, years later- this one month right here, right now, I’m in at 64 I am losing my memory so fast it’s scary. @PaulaSchmitz
@PaulaSchmitz 3 жыл бұрын
You are right but it is worth every penny of your investment, nothing more important than your mental health. You can ask insurance to reimburse you for the scans, they should. Then, that will cover at least half of the cost of the initial consultation. You can make the point that nothing worked from treatments with other doctors and that the Amen Clinics protocol gave you the right diagnosis and treatment. Then, insurance MUST cover. Good luck! :)

Yeah, Mr. Christian-already a mult-MULT-Millionair-doctor to the stars- "I just want to help people" is too expensive for the average person. I am a Capitalist and believe doctors should be able to earn above average income,, but SHEESH. I have Cadillac insurance that typically reimburse s 80%. His prices are SO HIGH above the average, that insurance actually only reimbursed me 50% instead of the typical 80% that they reimburse me for.
