My favorite aspect of this channel is that you're not the standard KZbinr. You are very humble, natural and down to earth and that is becoming exceedingly rare, especially in the states. I'm happy to watch whatever you put up!

I’m looking forward to your videos! I could use some new organizational skills. I bought a LOT of food and camping type supplies a few years ago while my mom was struggling with a traumatic brain injury. I was her one on one person while she was living in memory care. I had no control over her condition and I wanted to “prep” for my family in the event of a disaster. My mom passed in February. I miss her so much. And there has been no disaster. I want to clear out all of this crazy prepping stuff. I need to go through my parents belongings as well, so this is great timing for me. I’m looking forward to a clutter free and organized home!

I'm really glad that you addressed the "ickiness" of your health/fitness videos. I know they weren't consciously anti-fat, but it can be very alienating when an already straight-sized person starts talking about getting healthy by losing weight. Society really equates thinness with being healthy and I hate to see that perpetuated over and over and over. People can be healthy at any size. For further reading, I really recommend either of Aubrey Gordon's books or Fat Talk: Parenting in the Age of Diet Culture by Virginia Sole-Smith.

Hi Susie. So yes I have curly hair. But let me tell you, about 5 yrs ago me and hubby both lost 40 lbs. I started off at 172 at I’m 5’4”. So what we did, we just eat breakfast and lunch. I’m vegetarian so I eat very healthy. So I lost most of the weight and then I started exercising. So it’s been a while now, and I weigh 136. And I’m 69 yrs young. I never compromise on my eating. Also 3 yrs ago I became a minimalist. If I don’t NEED it, I don’t buy it. I keep my home picked up and clean because it’s less stressful that way. I don’t like stress, at all. I’m just sharing, not to put anyone down, I’m just sharing what has helped me in my life. I LOVE your channel, always have and will watch you no matter what the content is about. Take care my friend…. Tori from Kingman, Arizona 🌵🤗

I think your new idea for video content sounds very interesting and something I will probably find helpful! Count me in!! I did want you to know that I really liked your video on how you took care of your hair while camping. What a great idea! I had just gotten back from camping when the video came out, I remember thinking about how I should figure out a better hair care system for the next time I go sleep and play in the great outdoors! I tent camp, which makes me keep it so ridiculously simple, which means my hair was pulled into a basic ponytail about 90% of the time.....very boring.. lol!! You are a unique KZbinr. I love your way of doing it!

I am grieving hard right now and I have found that organizing has been helping me some in the process. I have done things a little at a time and not pushing myself too hard. I first slowly went through my clothes in my small closet because I was struggling with overcrowding and got rid of clothes that I don’t wear. I then bought thin velvet hangers and pant hangers so I had more space. Next I organized my bathroom drawers and kitchen junk drawer. After that I went through and organized my clothes in my dresser and bought the clothes cubes to organize some of the drawers. I have been doing things a little at a time and kinda all through the house. I’m not doing room by room. Just what catches my attention at that time. The same goes with cleaning. I may do one room a day or just vacuum the house one day and dust another day etc. I noticed doing those things have helped me not feel so overwhelmed. Don’t be hard on yourself, I’m still learning to do that too❤

Well, I originally came on here and subscribed for the curly hair videos, but the humor alone is worth watching them even if someone doesn't have curly hair! 2:53 - "I know what you're thinkin'; what happened to her shirt?" and then starting at 12:32 - "If you find it annoying ... please don't unsubscribe to my channel, 'cause it makes me sad" and then that little laugh! Awww! And yeah but, where you were saying you have those 4 piles of laundry down in the basement that you just can't seem to get put away, come ON - you already told us earlier in the video about working a full-time all-absorbing job plus an additional one for overtime, teaching fitness classes, going back to school for graduate-level courses, etc. etc., then taking care of 2 kids, cooking dinner, oh my gosh! I literally don't understand how there is enough time in any day for you to already do all that you do, so it is totally understandable that you can't seem to find the motivation or the time to put that laundry away - where would the time come from - ha! Maybe you can train the dog to do it? Just kidding! I love hearing about all the kinds of things you chat about. Your talks are entertaining and interesting. Your humor just gives it all that extra added punch!
