Hi, Ben I never comment on videos. This one is a wake-up call for me. Spent thousands on Facebook ads with very little return! This video seems like a good case to run a DEEP discount campaign to test for sure if the current offer is not good!

I'm starting to think facebook ads are a scam. 1000+ link clicks over a month and not a single sale. And they won't let me put up a store until I have enough of a following -- which means more ads. It should not be this difficult to so much as get off the ground.
@BenHeath3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy, I can understand that but it certainly isn't. It's not as easy to get great results as some people make out, but there are 3 billion (almost) people to advertise to on the platform - there's always going to be a lot of value there for people that have the skills to make it work.

I run ads only for local brick & mortar businesses. Honestly - it's hard to screw up ad distribution in such cases. I agree, that without great marketing, offers and compelling message ads won't work. BUT - settings are also important. For example, I drive traffic to a landing page with an offer and a Messenger button (don't ask why ;) ). Depending upon which settings I choose (conversions - button clicked, or landing page views) I get very different results. Usually, in my cases, conversions work best. Even with a clean ad account, no prior conversions, no data in the pixel. So - both aspects are important, yet settings alone don't make sales. It's all in the marketing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. A lot of people should see this vid.

I swear you're in my brain.EVERY time I have a question, you pop up with a relevant video. My sales were doing fine until about 2 weeks ago. I'm not new to ads and have done well with them previously but can't figure out wth is happening. Doesn't help that FB is now rejecting my top performing ads. I've setup ads for my friend on Monday, I know it's soon ...but nothing. She's never ran ads before but her pixel has about 8 months of data & she's having 5 figure months organically so the demand is definitely there. Her ads are in the learning phase (which is new to me because none of my ads ever showed as learning limited). Can you suggest anything?

Very helpful! I had campaigns running for about 3 months and made some decent sales - not exciting but OK. Recently I did not get the number of sales I had and there are days with 0 sales. It seems that there are some other advertisers who are advertising the same product (I am doing dropshipping for this product and try to verify it. Once the product might be verified I would private label it). Seems that I need to change the offer and give the campaigns another try.

@geoffallibone40262 жыл бұрын
The problem is that the advertiser thinks showing an ad to someone will mean they will respond and positively. People know what information they are looking for at the time of your ad being shown and your paid advert is irrelevant. In fact it is a hinderance to the benefit that person is pursuing. That fact will impact on their attitude to what you are trying to persuade them to be interested in.🤔

Hey Ben, firstly thank you once again for sharing such an informative video. However, I have 2 questions:- 1) As you mentioned you prefer working with clients who have a solid offer for their Products/Services... but are struggling with the campaign part on Facebook and that is where you guys come in & deliver the best results. (That's 1st Case) But...let's say you encounter clients who are the exact opposite of the above. So what is your approach in that case? Do you personally work with the client on improving their offer or you just tell them to figure it out on their own? (What would you recommend for advertisers just starting out?) 2) You mentioned a couple of times in your videos the importance of having the right offer.(Be it for our own business or for clients') So do you also teach about creating the right offers in your premium course? If not can you please suggest some resources to learn more about it? Thank you 🙂

Hi Rick, you can counter that by using a frequency cap in a reach campaign but I wouldn't worry about it. It is often better to show some people your ads multiple times as opposed to everyone once. 1 impression is very easy to miss/ignore.

Hey man just wanted to ask is £200 enough for fb ads?
@BenHeath3 жыл бұрын
It's enough to get started. But even a 10x return on ad spend (which is very good) would generate £2,000 in revenue so you'll want to invest more going forward most likely.

Hi Ben, i launched my campaigns and the first day I did 4 sales, but from the second they all the adsets went into Learning Phase and did zero conversions. What could be the problem? Could I exit the Limited Learning Phase by changing the campaign optimization to View Content or ATC? Thanks!

Hi Andrea - that is nothing out of the ordinary. You need to give your campaign more time. During those first few days, Facebook does a ton of testing and results are often highly varied.
