I had a go at this one tonight. I used noodles from Morrison’s; yea I know. They took for ever to go crispy. I think I had too many in the pan and the oil wasn’t hot enough, but we got there. I had no prawns, so cooked up some chicken breast, chopped and marinaded in soy, shaoshing and cornflour for 20 mins. For veg I used just what I had in the fridge: Chinese cabbage and carrot. I also used ordinary chestnut mushrooms. I substituted home made chicken stock for the water too. The rest of the sauce was exactly as you demonstrated. It was delicious and I’ll be doing it again. I took a photo which I’ll try to send to you. I tried to attach a photo, but can't see how to do it. Funny because I sent you a photo of my pork the other week?

Please can I ask question regarding cooked chicken breast. Do you boil frozen 40 mins and then put in fridge or do you boil and have to use straight away please
@ZiangsFoodWorkshop5 жыл бұрын
You defrost then boil, not from frozen, and you can keep refrigerated for 2 days

Just found this channel, amazing. Any chance you could do a video on doing takeaway style noodles (just the plain vermicelli type with spring onions and bean sprouts)?
@ZiangsFoodWorkshop5 жыл бұрын
yeah sure, it's on the list already, but we get 10 people a day request a dish so the list is massive lol, we will do the most popular first :)
@headgoomba19845 жыл бұрын
Cheers I look forward to the day it happens, plenty videos to get through in the mean time.... OH, one more request, you’d make my 2019, smoked corn chicken, if you were to present the recipe I’m thinking of you remove my need to ever order a takeaway again.

@@headgoomba1984 we're never heard of that, we will look into it

Ziang's Oriental Food Workshop thanks, it’s hard to describe but I first encountered it at a Thai restaurant where I live but it’s popping up in all the local Chinese takeaways now. I can’t even describe it, but it’s delicious.
