I’m a diabetic2 and fruit does raise your blood sugar, some fruits can spike it. Stick to low or medium glycemic fruits. Anyone can learn about low, medium, and high glycemic foods for yourselves. Ceylon cinnamon is the only one you should use. I’d get it from a place like Penzey’s, Whole Foods, places that sell organic foods.

Diabetes is getting to be a bigger and bigger problem every day. Zonya really breaks it down to the very essential information in a very easy to understand and enjoyable way and gives you a few delicious recipes to try along the way. This is a great place to start making changes within your life, whether you’re pre-diabetic, just recently diagnosed, or already in the fight for your life, jump aboard and enjoy the ride. And not only with this, she’s got a whole plethora of programs given throughout the year which are very effective. If you say you’ve tried every “Diet” known to man and nothing has worked, you probably haven’t tried Zonya’s programs. Give them a try. You won’t be sorry.

I was taking insulin and was taken off of it because I had lost weight and my readings were good. My doctor's dietition changed all my diabetic medication and prescribed Ozempic and that was a nightmare. I took myself off ozempic, because i could have bm. I sat in the bathroom crying and pushing . I finally made . Thanks again for opening my eyes and mouth too. Sending blessings from Canada.❤

My mother has high potassium, was told no flaxseed, but was stated can have up to 2000 potassium a day. If that's the case then why not at least 1 tsp of ground flaxseeds. Also, will I be able to add 1/4 of avocado? She doesn't have diabetes. I would love healthy breakfast and lunch menues. I am tired of fixing her the same breakfast most mornings (oatmeal). Now, I try to do bran oat hot cereal as well. I read about oats, wheat is not good. Heck, one minute you can get certain foods, then later you can't. My niece and two sister has diabetes of them use insulin.

Everyone needs to test their blood sugar before and after eating any food for a true test of what your body can and cannot tolerate. Some fruit cause high sugar spikes because of how much fructose is in it. Mangoes, Pineapples, grapes , oranges are disastrous
