Yes the website did change recently so I am not sure... But if you wait until Saturday, i'm posting a video revealing my new cleaning routine I created with free printables! 🙃

@ThatAwkwardMom Yay! I'm so excited to see what you've come up with! I'm also busy working out my own cleaning routine as we speak... Being the managers of our own homes feels equal parts empowering and daunting, but the thought of having a real plan down on paper gives me hope! Once it's written down, the beauty part is now tasks can be delegated. ;) I feel like that would be a great follow-up video idea to show how you get your family on board and participating in the housework. Whether that's kids as they learn how to play with the feather duster or match socks, but also the husband and how to get him on board with sharing the load, taking ownership of certain tasks etc. I love your channel! I can't believe you actually replied to my post!!!! LOL

I don't even remember specifically the first of your videos I watched, mom-related!?? Ill have to research... But then I kept watching, and then I do remember seeing the Clean Mama / Fly Lady comparison videos, and that's what helped me get started on a journey of developing cleaning routines that will work for me in my home. I completely agree - I was a laundry and dish-washing MACHINE - but the notion of scheduling cleaning wth rotating daily tasks, or zones etc. was an yuge aha moment! So I have to thank you for introducing me to these concepts, but I legit never realized you were a, "fly lady channel." I see too, that's how you tricked me into watching cleaning videos in the first place, Ariel. Clever girl... 😉

My Mom passed on to heaven at Christmas... And it was super simple because we'd already taken care of all her stuff. It was a beautiful gift she allowed us. ❤

Hello and I am glad you took a break. My 7 children are all grown up. Raising them was the joy of my life. I love to watch you because you are so funny and kind.. You help me feel young again as I watch you navigate parenthood and homemaking. Yes, it gets harder as they get older. But, you will be fine, you will be ready. Prayers for you and see ya sometime!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR OVEN IS SAFE FOR PUTTING ALUMINUM FOIL IN THE BOTTOM OF! A LOT OF THE NEW OVENS SAY IN GREAT BIG LETTERS DO NOT PUT ALUMINUM FOIL IN THE BOTTOM! We were on a base at a volunteer organization and one of our volunteer cooks lined the bottom of the two ovens with foil. We were there a month. She totally ruined the oven. The whole bottom of both ovens bubbled up and all the stuff cracked off of it. And if you say I've been doing this for years. Maybe your oven is okay with that. A lot of ovens will say do not use foil and it's wrote right into the oven itself in the bottom. If you want proof of this give me your email and I will send you pictures of the damaged ovens. I would just hate to see anybody else go through this.

I personally like doing a load of day. Linens and towels on Saturday. Smaller batches are easier for me to deal with. I did a Saturday laundry day once in my adult life when the kids were like 4 and 2. Never again.

As a european 1200 sq.ft. house is perfectly normal good size house. My house is about 1300 sq.ft. and it has garage, 3 bedrooms and two kitchens (one in basement where I can cook in summer while enjoying low temperature, since there's no AC, as it should be in Europe). I am glad KZbin algorithm suggested this video to me. I am going to get rid of 5 random things I'll find around the house. Cheers.

Hello, I’m happy to hear your grandma is cancer free!!! 😇🙏 My mother was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer on New Years Eve in 2006 The Drs told us she had 2 months - 2 years to live. She lived 8 months. She did the chemo radiation thing but it didn’t help, it ended up spreading through her body and in her brain. In August of 2006, the Drs had told us now that she had about 2 weeks It was exactly 2 weeks and she passed. I am so happy for your miracle, but…. I wonder, where was mine?? 😭😭

Thanks for sharing. "We will show them our signs in the universe and in their own shelves untill it becomes manifest to them that (the Quran) is the truth."(Quran 41:53) Science: "The universe has been expanding ever since the big bang." Quran 51:47 "We built the universe with great might and we are certainly expanding it." Science: Every planet has its own orbit. Quran 21:33 "And He is the One who created the day and the night, the sun and the moon - each travelling in an orbit." Science:"One of the new discoveries is the discovery that the Human heart can think." Quran 22:46 " So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes, that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts. Embryology. Pharaoh preserved body. Iron is not from earth. ... And more Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would have certainly found in it many inconsistencies.(Quran 4:82) "The truth is from your Lord, So never be among the doubters." (Quran 2:147) SAY: HE IS ALLAH, ONE AND ONLY; ALLAH, THE ETERNAL, ABSOLUTE; HE BEGETTEH NOT, NOR HE IS BEGOTTEN, AND THERE IS NONE LIKE UNTO HIM. (Quran) ❤️ "If anyone does good deeds, whether male or female and has faith, they will enter paradise and not the least injustice will be done to them." (Quran 4:124)

Give your stuff to loved ones now so they can make the memory of you passing it along to them to keep forever, too. Make it special. This is your chance to say what needs saying, slip a note inside that jewelry box or vase that they can find later. Stash momentos and pictures in them to find now or years later. You could make it fun and put scavenger hunt hints in the stuff and mess with them later after you are gone. You could wrap the stuff as gifts with strict instruction not to open until you are gone or on specific days and holidays, birthdays in the future. This doesn't have to be sad. This can be fun.

I did the Marie Kondo thing and that helped get me organize and make decisions but it wasn't enough. The Swedish Death Cleaning got it all out of here, got things to my kids I want them to have that were taking up space and making work for me. It feels good to finally start the year with the right amount of stuff and to look around and see nothing but things that I love and that "bring me joy" as Marie Kondo put it. Y'all keep going and keep purging all the time, it's the only way to maintain balance because more stuff will keep coming in. Touch something once when it does or when you clean or do laundy, that means pick it up and put it exactly where it is supposed to go in that moment so you never have to think about it or touch it again until you need it. Stop moving stuff around all the time. It's exhausting. When deciding to throw things out, think "I'll never have to clean or move this thing again if I choose that right now." It's magic. :)

knowing how I will have to go through this with my hoarding father when he passes makes me so mindful of the items I choose to keep in my home. Our days aren't promised and If Im not blessed to experience old age I don't want the burden of my things to bog down my partner.

I found it interesting how you were referring to external sources for reasons to need to clean your things. Like you have to clean your dining table in case you have people come over because you couldn't serve them dinner. How about switching it in your mind during survival mode to being about surviving for yourself and your immediate family like children? Survival mode to me doesn't seem like something is a priority because I need to worry about other people's expectations of where they're going to eat dinner. I can eat dinner sitting on my couch at a TV tray. If there is rotting food or structural issues or something that is detrimental to health and wellness including tripping hazards and trash etc that's survival. I think yours is more like social mode. I enjoyed your video and appreciate all the advice you gave.
