Hi Kimberly! The first book you showed by the Japanese-British author I thought I had read that one, but couldnt figure out the title, so I checked and it wasnt the one I read. I had read The Remains of the Day, which I didnt like. It was a movie, British, what I remember of it, I felt like it wasnt like the book in some ways, but was a long time ago, so I could be wrong. Let us know how you like this one, I'm curious if its interesting! LOL I started reading some Japanese authors, and I really enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing your book reads! It's very interesting and informative. Ive written several down, Ive got a growing list from your vlogs! Have a great week. More hugs! 🤗🌺💜💚🌿

Hi Mary Ann! If you like Japanese authors I really recommend the "no longer human" classic from Osamu Dazai! Great book but a bit depressing but also very beautiful writing! Im glad I can share some of the books with you, I hope you'll like the ones you pick up. Have a great week too, hugs! 🥰💚

I only have like 3 vinyls sadly but I do own a lot of DVDs they're just tucked away in a moving box in my storage unit. I have planned to someday sort it out but I currently don't have the space for them in my bookshelves... Most of them are horror movies though. The few ones I have brought back out is Ringu and Ju-On since they're my favorites. 😊 But I do somewhat collect them, I think physical media is important in this streaming age we're in. 😊

I do digital art and sculpt and even was accepted into an art school years ago, but my schizophrenia prodrome made it impossible for me to go. I also had pretty bad social anxiety for most of my life, which made everything worse. Nowadays, i barely get around to doing art because of my negative and cognitive symptoms. It has also become almost impossible for me to read because of my cognitive symptoms. I don't remember the last time i read a whole book. Yeah, schizophrenia sucks, basically. I wish you all the best and believe in you. Your videos are awesome and so are you. ☺️

Perhaps after learning in class more about working with the medium of oils, you will be able to get a result more pleasing to you. A dear friend is a professional artist and I think to get a piece you like, an artist creates many that you consider "failed"! Hang in there!

I'm a master artist, I've mastered the skills in four thousand pieces, expert advice dear from a schizophrenic artist of forty years. Everyone sucks at first, most people give up because they don't get instant gratification. There's a unwritten law of business, it takes ten thousand hours and five thousand pieces to become a master at everything, we all suck at first. It's the journey not the destination it the process not the art, you must learn to flow like water in the art, you see your trying to be perfect, as a critic it looked like a early van Gogh onion. If you screw up tell everyone it abstract so you never seem like you messed up it gives you the freedom to learn and takes the pressure off, study wabi Sabi the art of imperfections. It will help you, perfection is a delusional mind set no one is perfect, have a glass of wine put in music and paint like you are a master because believing is 90% of the challenge

like i said.. watercolors is what i am used to, but oil is my dream. the journey will be fun for you! i like the idea that i don't have to hurry so much!! with water colors its do or d!e 😄 and i love the idea of being bale to manipulate several times. don't lose hope so fast. even though i know the feeling very well!!!! i struggle a lot with seeing the point in hobbies. i am in my depression phase, and i haven't done my hobbies in such a long while. can't get my brain to do it. haven't read a book in so long. i am trying to find motivation on how to do it, even when you don't feel like it.... you inspire me Kimberly ♥ you really do.
