Gladiator 2 is bad i could explain but wasted too much of my time look the movie i'm done with it a 4/10 at best

You kids don't understand what masculinity is. If you did, you'd be masculine yourselves instead of whining about it like a woman. Toughen up, learn to not let small petty things bother you. Become more manly. What you're doing isn't toxic masculinity, it's femininity. Gladiator 2 champions masculinity. The main character inspires and leads men in a way that only a man can. The women you're so high strung about didn't succeed. They just had some small decent roles. That shouldn't bother you. The men got shit done in this movie.

I didnt watch this but why are you mad over females being in strong roles

So the Masters of society want a future where feminism rules over masculinity? Really? Other men will force other men to be women 😐😑😐 really ? Are ppl really this stupid?
@vtauoyctynwbrooylm600814 сағат бұрын
I think you're reading too much into the masculinity thing. I didn't get the idea that masculinity was bad in any way, if anything, I got the idea that being masculine (strong, brave, tactical, responsible) was good. You have the protagonist, a handsome and muscular man, fighting and winning while remaining morally good with noble intentions. I don't think having a female character die in battle is un-masculine in any way. She died, she didn't survive and win like a superhero. The city didn't appear to have a huge army, and she didn't have any kids, so she probably believed she might as well help. It's not that Acacius doesn't like war. Nobody likes war and liking war doesn't make you masculine, just reckless, but Acacius' reason for not wanting to battle Persia and India was because Rome needed to deal with its internal problems first. He's not being cowardly, but logical, which is a masculine trait. We shouldn't be too quick to assume movies mean this or that, or that could lead to filmmakers becoming discouraged from a wide range of ideas because they MIGHT portray the film as pushing a certain agenda when in reality it could just chalked up to having to choose one or the other.
@joemeuse970816 сағат бұрын
“Acacius felt ashamed for winning the battle” is so reductive, even though he explains why he’s ashamed because he doesn’t like men dying for vain emperors

"Discrimination", you also forgot that the animals which are a metaphor for LGBT people being silenced is in there as well as a plot point.

He's right. Every movie has a warrior heroine now. So played out and ridiculous. Do kids believe this crap? Russia and China are gonna rule us in two generations.

I just got home from seeing Wicked, and although I'm not into musicals at all, I thought it was pretty good! I haven't read the books or watched the play, and it's been like 25 years since I saw Wizard of Oz. And then I made the mistake of watching this cunt's review. SPOILER ALERTS for part two would have been nice! What a fucking jackass!

Assigning humanity to the orcs has to be the most room temperature iq thing to do. If a legendary trilogy has plenty of history for you to play off of, who the heck throws all that out the window to then replace it with meaningless modern ideas that are so shallow that it has everyone scratching their heads. I just don’t get it 😔 so disappointing.
@travelerluke5748Күн бұрын
We could get movies like that if these directors would stop doing what they are doing now and make something worth it.

Ya’ll have to be joking right? The movie was literally the most masculine movie that’s come out 4 years. There was literally 1 female character. Sound like a bunch of women complaining about it. Johnny Law stfu bro

if you want people to "see themselves looking back at them fromthe screen" than actors are obsolete, no? Get a random bloke from the street or smth. THey can do just as good a job as this cast did. Apart from a few exceptions.

So what I'm gathering is that the entire reason a lot of people didn't like this show is because you hate that women exist, and that the franchise isn't exactly the same as when George Lucas made the (dogshit) prequels. You guys act like Disney put the final nail in the coffin as if the franchise didn't go to shit the moment George made the special editions and prequels.

I hope you had an issue with the 1939 version of the film essentially being an adaptation because that’s exactly what it is lol It’s so weird that some of you have an issue of adaptations only when it doesn’t appeal to you personally lol Stay off the incel threads mate, they make you think somethings happening when it really isn’t That’s called immaturity lol

What’s funny is how common certain critiques you made, seem to be among creators who make similar content to yours. Just a quick scroll through your thumbnails and their titles pretty much says it all.. A certain content creator comes to mind who also reviews films and shows with a very . . . . . . . . How should I say “modern male” perspective lol

Bro goes after the guy that ordered another guy to shot his wife with an arr all because she shot some random guy next to the general guy........I fell off to sleep 30mins into the movie and that death scene made no sense as to why he was there to see her cross even though he wasn't dead...and don't get me started on the extras that went to go help the main guy "GET OUT OF THE WATER!!" Like how drunk friends would pick you up to go off to the clubs. And don't get me started on Denzels made-up character who was nowhere in the original and yet so powerful that Bro could sit close to the Emperors...I've downloaded the Original 💪💪

Why do you make media analysis when it’s so clear you hate art? You think transformative work is immoral? Why? Because it’s not “original”? Your thoughts are so vapid I get the impression you don’t know which pieces of art even are transformative works. Do you hate howls moving castle (which you mentioned) because it’s based on Oz? Do you hate lion king because it’s based on Shakespeares hamlet? Do you hate art subversive classics, like Goddards Hail Mary? No offense but do you even know what that is. You don’t get to be a weird gate keepy prick about art and movies when it’s also so clear you don’t know anything about them

Thanks for making this awful video because now I know to never watch your videos. You are a soft skinned skinny pale dude complaining about a woman fighter who was on screen for maybe a minute. Gladiator 2 wasn't as good as the first one but nowhere did I see anything that was against masculinity. Your video sucks and you need to hit the gym and eat some meat.

I hate modern politics being forced on movies. I also think this is an oversimplified, bad faith interpretation of the film. All in all, it’s a standard movie with really good acting.

The fact that women were fighting in the first half of the movie is completely accurate to history and is backed by multiple sources from what I am aware of.
