I just found your channel tonight. I don’t like it. I like talking to people who owner, Scamp or A Casita just for the little bit of information I can get forever and a little bit of information I can give to them.

Suction cup hooks was the last piece I needed. Thanks! You might want to update your link - the ones you used aren't available anymore.

Sorry about your truck. I just got a 2008 scamp. What do you do to keep your scamp looking so nice outside. I’m getting a chalk look about. What do you use on yours? Thank you.

Are you at all concerned with a wood bottom? I know they put some sealant on but road debris and critters happen and the whole point of a fiberglass trailer is waterproof longevity. Would like to get one but it kinda seems half baked. idk

Is there a thermostat that turns the fire off when the water reaches a certain temperature?

The biggest problem with the expensive awnings is the expensive part. They cost so much that you dare not leave them out if the weather looks the least bit ominous. I know someone who had a nice $900 awning and guess what? They damaged it and had to spend $900 again. And they are afraid to leave it open. This solves that problem. Put it up and forget it. If it tears, pull out the extra one.

You can get the proper end to fit your levelling jacks and use with a cordless drill, instead of hand cranking it.

Hi. You mention to use a 2" receiver. I'm looking into a 16' standard model, and I'm under the impression that fully loaded we'd be well under 3000', so wouldn't a Class II 1.25" receiver with a 3500lb max be acceptable?

Cheers for the DIY'ers. A love seeing ideas that don't break the bank yet one can still enjoy the same things a break the bank person does.

Thank you for your video, you just solved my "No Awning" Situation for the 22 foot Class A Motor Home I am currently making weekly payments on. It has no permanently attached Awning on it, and like you, I am not about to spend $400+ for a Commercially built Awning to attach to my Motorhome. The Suction Cup, Tarp, Extendable Poles, and Paracord will have to do the job.

I thought the rear bed in scamp 16 standard is only 44” wide which is between twin (38” wide) and full (54” wide).

Great information! I've placed all these items in my shopping cart, including fire extinguishers. I ordered my scamp August of 2021 and was told it would be ready August 2023. I'm thinking I'll probably get a call early spring because I did receive a call stating it could be ready in November, but I'm just not ready yet. Super stoked and getting my supplies in order! Thanks so much for this super valuable information.
