i live in Arizona and by the time I turned 21 weed wasn't legal recreationally yet but it was in Nevada so one night me and my friends made the 3 hour drive to Laughlin to buy as much as we could, and I decided to buy a 200mg smoothie on top of the vapes and flower. went back to my friends car and decided to just slam the whole thing before reading the bottle and seeing recommended dosage was a capful. prior to this I had only had shitty homemade edibles so I convinced myself I could handle it. we decided to go to dinner at the Colorado Bell (RIP) and I distinctly remember the smoothie hitting me like a truck the second our waiter asked what I wanted to eat. I remember staring at the menu for a solid minute before my friend interrupted and ordered for all of us. thats still the highest I've ever been in my life and it ended up being one of the best nights of my life.
