This was a fantastic breakdown for a layperson like me, at least when it comes to video and video specs. As a iOS/visionOS developer, I'm interested in getting into the immersive content space. Can you help provide some use cases other than the music / concert and animal stuff? Like, what about training, and what kind of training?

5:01 on Meta Quest we have Wander and Wooorld. Both plop us in front of a map with tens of thousands of waypoints that we can click on to go just about anywhere in the world. From there we've usually got more connected waypoints so that we're in control of where we walk, and it's all in a full 360° view... so we can just go inside a temple or a museum and explore in whatever direction we want. It's amazing, and I'm glad Vision Pro folks now have something similar.

Thanks for sharing these infos to us. I‘m from Germany and recording in 3D since more than a decade now. But immersive video is the next level for me and content created in a way like the Apple videos will be the future for movies and sport events. But I also want a solution below the blackmagic professional equipment to support ambitious hobby movie creators. So let‘s See what the future will bring…

Apple says immersive is content shot at 8K and above, 4K and below they call it spatial

Have you tried using the connect to your Mac and seeing how large the screen was seeing Apple said that its 2 4K screens in size is there any special way you to open it to that large size ?

So far I haven’t run into any issues, the first beta was a little buggy but this second beta is running pretty good

Canon hasn’t announced any VR lens support for the R3, just the R7 with the new lenses. It would be nice if there were more cameras supported from Canon

8:23 100% FALSE. 16K = FOUR times the resolution of 8K just like 8K = FOUR times the resolution of 4K. 16:9 16K = 15360 x 8640 aka 132,710,400 pixels. 16:9 8K = 7680 x 4320 aka 33,177,600 pixels. 16:9 4K = 3840 x 2160 aka 8,294,400 pixels.

If they're 3D photos, then maybe they don't have a way yet to edit them? You're essentially editing two photos. Isn't there even color correction?

Yeah there is no way to edit the color, white balance or anything like that on regular photos in the Vision Pro Photos App. Those options are available on an iPhone or an iPad version of the Photos app

Does the Bora Bora environment compare to the lake environment? Bora bora looks more grainy and not as clear at the same high resolution as the lake environment. I can’t tell if that’s really the case or just how it’s recorded. Could you please clarify? Thank you!

The recorded footage is 720p upscaled to 4K so the Vision Pro screen recordings have less clarity and worse color representation When wearing the Vision Pro, all of the environments look amazing in my opinion. I wish Apple gave use the ability to record in a higher resolution with more stability

For those who are wondering why Apple intelligence isn't on Vision Pro, it’s available for all devices with M1, excluding the iPhone, Apple decided to not include it in the Vision Pro since the device is new. We will get it before the Vision Pro 2nd gen.

@@TrentonsTech during the WWDC the only products that’ll have Apple intelligence is the 2018 MacBook Pro series to recent MacBooks that contains M1, iPhone 15 pro max because of the A17, And recent iPads w/ M1 I have the Vision Pro, and based off pure speculation.. the vision pro just recently became available to a few more countries as of this month. But what products are available world wide? MacBooks, iPhones, iPads .. and these 3 products are getting a.i.. they didn’t put a.i in the goggles because not everyone has tested the product.. these Vision Pros are worth up too $5000.00 and it’s either an unfinished product or Apple hasn’t unlocked its full potential that requires specific updates.

They should add a hand gesture to begin that typing thing on iPhone, but with your eyes. Like you look at the t key, then e, then s, then t, and then stop gesturing, and it would predict that you wanted to type 'test'.

From the video, it seems like you are trying to mirror your Vision Pro to your iPad. To do that, you need to update iPadOS to the beta, and turn on AirPlay Receiver on the iPad. It works the other way around too, turn on AirPlay Receiver on the Vision Pro and you can mirror iPad or iPhone to your Vision Pro.

Very good Vision Pro content...Im getting ready to get one myself, just trying to give it a little time to get some fully baked apps. I did the demo at the Apple Store and was pretty floored by it. Im super curious about the Immersive Shows...Im betting those alone are game changing but havent seen one yet

I think Airplay Receiver uses the Apple Vision Pro to display content from another device, so for example seeing your iPad screen inside Vision Pro.
