Beautiful album, the opening track still sends chills through my spine. It's not classic floyd in my eyes, but it's still a masterpiece

I haven't listened to this album for a long time. And to be honest it still a good album. Yes most of it is waters. But it is still a good album quite surprised that I actually still like this album

For me, is by far the most beautiful and interesting album from Pink Floyd. May be is because I serve on the Army for 11 long years. The madness, the crazyness and probably the limit we try on the service is all quite on this album.

Back when I bought my first CD deck ($300+, ouch...) gold CDs were all the rage. My first gold CD was "Dark Side Of The Moon". My second gold CD was Supertramp's "Crime Of The Century". Suffice it say that my Floyd CD collection has become most impressive, and lasted 50+ years.

It is about time i see others say what they think about this Album. Like most of you I have bought everything this band produced, This is by far the best of all Pink Floyd recordings, which was trashed by the music industry ,critics and fans. Goes to show you that there are a lot of people who don't know what the fuck they are talking about. What is really great is this album sets up Waters First solo Album Pro`s and Con`s of Hitchhiking. Then Radio KAOS and then Amused to Death. His solo work really proves without a doubt who really was Pink Floyd.

I was living in a one bedroom 150 year old adobe apartment in Taos, New Mexico with two roommates. It was a time of experimentation. I went through pounds of weed, a quarter pound of psychodelic mushrooms, with a salt of morphine and a pepper of heroine over 8 months. My mind expanded, I met entities, I saw God. Music was my anchor to keep me from going insane. One of my roommates gave me Pink Floyd The Wall side two. Thank you, Pink Floyd.

I bought this album when it came out and I still to this day cannot understand why critics knock it. It is one of the most beautiful albums that Pink Floyd put out as far as I'm concerned. I love it and have been playing it for 3 decades

its a great album, but it's all Roger. I don't think the band had much say or major contribution to this album. Not much guitar features as the past albums. I'm guessing Gilmor wasn't too happy with this album or Roger at this point
