If the backrest of the hip thruster frame can hinge away and create more arch, as in making a steeper bridge, is that tighter gluteal contraction?

Thanks! With the forward angle for the glutes, if someone has weaker glutes, would it make sense to use less weight than they would if the spine were more erect to protect the spine?

Suggestions to lift the bar were good, but don’t do them if you have pain in your hip or low back. Call a club mate to give you the bar.

Hey Bret! I feel like the heavier the hip thrust the harder it is to physically squeeze. Are you recommending to tighten the glutes before lift off? Hahaha…. Or physically squeeze your butt cheeks together through the top part? Or are they being squeezed by just doing the thrust? Thank you!

Hip dip is due to unbalanced pelvic bone structure, not really a normal thing
