I found this video because someone on Reddit was complaining about never being able to use the hip abduction machine. This exercise is perfect. You’re hitting both sides at once of a far under utilized muscle. I will definitely be adding this to my sessions. I’m almost one year post double total hip replacement and I have been trying to strengthen for stability and bone protection. Thank you!

Very good video. After coming from 300 over the summer. I have been lifting weights, doing cable, and rowing focusing on legs, glutes and lats. I placed myself in a crockpot diet consisting of vegetables, meat, or beans, and meal prep has been a breeze. Went from a size 44 to 38 and continuing shrinking. I'm at 270 and have great energy, but I have not been focused on the CP method as of late but eating junk. I feel no different because I continue to press forward, even doing calisthenics while cooking and watching TV. I even get out on the trail more walking/running. Most people have noticed the change, giving me more motivation to continue. After seeing this video, it's OK to get stuck at a certain weight for muscle will be packed. Everything comes in time and if you play your cards right it will come to fruition.

I wanted to grow my glutes without growing my legs, but after hearing Brett's advice, I will stick to my usual routine since I love working out my quads and hamstring. I will try and reduce body fat to keep them lean..

As a woman, although I have to thank Brett for promoting our goals and way of exercising differently, it is also true that many so-called female "influencers" post videos about exercising where they're not only using bad form but also wearing what equates to underwear and then complaining about men looking... By all means, wear what you want, but don't complain about ppl looking when you're wearing shorts rinding up your posterior and then spend half your time doing duck faces. These attitudes give a bad name to us women who are trying to build a better, fitter physique, enjoy our workouts and mind our own business instead of looking at what the guys are doing.
