I had a gray tabby for 18 years, and she LOVED the tops of strawberries! As soon I came from the grocery store she would come running to get the strawberries. She would rub herself all over with the strawberry tops. It was like catnip to her. Now I have 2 senior cats, and with the chilly morning they get frisky but only a couple of romps then snooze time LOL.

Only one of my two cats like the puzzle toy.

This is not the best advice. If you feed scientific brands with complete and balanced nutrition that have undergone extensive tests, dry food is great. Can do 50% wet and 50% dry for best health. But honestly grocery store brands and most pet food store brands are not nutritionally complete.

Our male cat does what we call a "sandworm" under a blanket when he gets over stimulated.

After reviewing and trying out a couple automatic litter boxes I would have to respectfully disagree with you that they're not worth it. If you get the ones like the PetSafe smart spin or the litter robot or other ones that are safe the features are wonderful. I have six cats. With the pet safe SmartSpin I learned pretty quickly because each cat weighs different which one uses the bathroom. I can still investigate their feces if it doesn't look right. I can identify which one used the bathroom at which time and if something came up with one of these cats I would know which one was sick instead of guessing

I hide small toys under pillows or cat beds, then lead my cat on a laser pointer chase until she finds it. She also 100% knows the laser pointer in my hand is making the light.

We used to poo in dirt too. Its an odd take to not want the cat to go in water because they don't do it yet.

I lost my beautiful companion cat 4 days ago. Watching this broke my heart all over again, but not for me, for Jackson and his incredible love for all his animals. Jackson I’m so glad you documented this, please don’t regret it or beat yourself up over the what ifs. I know this was a while ago for you but I also know the pain never really goes away when we think of their memories with us. I have two orange Maine coons one is sweet and friendly well my other is hell on all 4s lol but their both very sweet and affectionate but they do fight each other like brothers do “it’s never a nasty fight and two minutes after they’ll be cuddling up with one another giving each other baths” they also love my jindo collie they look at him as their mom since I got the cats when they were 4 weeks old they always gravitated towards my service dog and he did a damn good job at raising them.

I need help!!!! About five years ago my son was going through some very challenging times. His therapist thought that getting him a cat would help. And it did. Even though I’m highly allergic to cats, we got Suki. Suki is highly attached to my son. I didn’t spend time playing with Suki because he had plenty of play time with both my son and daughter. Unfortunately, now my son is living some where else and drops by once a week. He can’t take Suki with him. My daughter is traveling for a year. So now I’m home with Suki. I’m trying my best to keep him happy. But I’m afraid to pick him up. He has hissed at me so I’m even fearful of petting him. Now he’s peeing in inappropriate places! All my friends tell me to get rid of him but that’s not right. At some point my son or daughter will be able to move him to wherever they live. It will be in about one year. What do I do???!!!! How can I make him happy? I’ve bought him toys and have tried playing with him daily but he’s not interested in me. He only calls me when he wants a to eat. I want to be able to put him on my lap and have him relax when I watch tv. This is what he does with my son. What can I do??!!

My boy started off meowing, but no sound came out at about 6 months. I taught him to chirp/trill and he's been a chatterbox since. He was a rescue/lone surrender. I don't know if he got left for dead and got lucky a human found him or what because he got given a lot of fluids based on the medical charts.

some of us jackson aren't rich, so we can't afford to go out and buy all that stuff for our cats just to make them happy. Some of us are on low income. wish you would take that in consideration and talk about that or at least add that in when you talk about getting stuff for your pets

jackson you may not realize this but not everyone can afford taking their pets to the vet due to being low income.

The last one is shocking. Is this a big thing in the US only? I know absolutely no one in Western Europe who did this to their cats.

If she could, drawing a bath or water first may help. I think the cats hate the noise and sound of running water, it scares them. They seem to do better and tolerate a calm bath. Jenni’s brave, I would have worn gloves 😂

My kitty loves to play so i got her a laser pointer. She got so upset and frustrated. I went back to her favorite toy, a shoe string, and she went back to her usual happy trilling self.

I have chickens as livestock, but they are all special to me and I treat them when they’re ill, feed and water them, and give them love. We love our pigs too and our sow loves her back rubbed.

Currently watching this with one of my new babies purring on my chest. She’s only 3 months old, but she already seems to be a fan of your channel. 😂 thank you for your videos! I was able to have a nice base camp set up for her and her sister’s arrival.

I have 5 kids, my 3 younger ones are still in the bed with me and my husband (please don’t judge, we know.) My sweet Manny sleeps on my pillow usually, but sometimes he goes to their pillow and sleeps above their heads. He’s never gotten near mine or their faces, he’s essentially like a guard cat. If they move, he moves. I’ve had cats my entire life, and I’ve never had one that acts like this with multiple people. Do you know why? I like to think he has a bond with all of us, and I’m sure he does to some extent. I just want your opinion. 🤟❤

2 points. You can give your cat lactose free milk from what I have read. There are things over which you have no control. My husband has dementia so wakes the cat up petting him, etc. The cat seems to understand and even if sound asleep and my husband wakes him up, he turns his belly up and purrs. Cats are amazing.

My 15 year old cat (has kidney disease too), has loved kittens in the past but has been refusing to eat since the kittens got here. I waited 3 days before introducing. The kittens really want to love on him but he seems afraid of them instead. The big issue though is that he is eating much since the kittens have been walking around more. I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. In the past he had to get a feeding tube because he wouldn't eat and it was related to his CKD.

You do such valuable work. I was tearing up watching how scared that little man was and when I saw you breaking through a little it went to actual tears. I know, I’m a 38 year old man, I should be able to watch this stoically but I just love animals so much and watching how gentle, considerate and compassionate you were and how it was appreciated by Yoshi… I just got emotional overload. I have so much respect for the new owners. A lot of people would have seen the challenge of getting him back to their home as too much and adopted a different cat but they saw the trauma and someone that really needed their help; so on behalf of Yoshi I’d like to thank you all for being such good people.

I totally understand, Jackson. 😢 we have our own flock of 18 hens. They each have their own names, personalities and little quirks. Our favorite girl is Tilly and she’s a leghorn. She had bumblefoot that we had to treat ourselves. She’s doing much better now, but we were so worried about losing her. She loves my hubby and use to perch on his shoulders when she was younger. But she is one of the few that responds to her name and greets us at our kitchen window. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope time helps to heal you from this sudden loss. ❤

I've had cats so terrified they would just pick a safe spot and huddle. It took time, but eventually most of them would come out of the fear. I did have two who were so traumatized they never did trust me, sadly. They ate and mingled with the other cats, but never with humans. But as long as they were safe and fed and had other cats, that was what mattered. I can only imagine their previous lives.

I thought scratching was also done help shed their nails 🤔

I always leave the dry food out for my cat. She is super skinny so if she wants to eat she can eat at any time any moment. The wet food on the other hand I feed her at least 4 times a day. She always eat so little so whenever I see her plate empty I feed her more, I don't care what people say, she is not your regular cat. She is so skinny, the vet said that same as human, some are skinny some are fat. She suggested changing the brand for one that has more fat and I did, but my cat was not eating, so I had to bring back her old brand.

Omg this is Destiny . She is like this except it’s the basement . I’ve gotten her to the point where she comes out for treats and if I pat the bed next to me, she will cuddle . However it’s hard to get her to bond with anyone else but me .

My cat will not eat wet food?

Cats are evil. Dogs are better. At least with a dog you know where you stand. With a cat? They're all lovey dovey purring and crap one minute, the next you just became their favorite battle toy. Cats are cruel.

Mine hunts my for my hand when I am distracted and ends up missing the hand and landing her claws elsewhere, that hurts. Also, she likes to play "eating the hand".
