I fasted 10 days in 2010 and felt myself very well. I completely lost hunger at 3rd day. I had running and visiting boxing gym almost every day of fasting and my results was just the same. After 10 days of fasting I ate cream-soup for 2 days, 3 day I eat smashed potatoes and from the 4th day I started to eat as usual. I felt not hungry at 10 day, I stopped just because I planned to fast only for 10 days. My weight was around 96kg, age - 20, height - 180cm. I don't remember exactly how much weight I lost, 5kg or so. I don't know fat/muscle ratio that I lost. I was a positive experience. After your video I decided to repeat it, but maybe for 14 days. I have two questions to people hwo may know such nuances: 1. Does it makes sense to take a little bit of pure fat (5-10g per day) during fasting? 2. Is it ok to drink coffee, tea, 0-callorie pepsi during fasting or it's better to drink just water? (I usually dring coffee/tea with a table of butter). 3. What about taking mineral complexes, vitamins, etc.? Pills are ok or it SHOULD be liquids?

The perfect most scientific fast in the world is the Baha'i fast. German scientists were sceptical, but to their surprise the Baha'i fast, which is always in the same period of the year (spring in the northern hemisphere) and lasts 19 days, showed incredibly positive results. Of course, it has to be said that Baha'i believers abstain from food and drink from sunrise to sunset.

What about arachidonic acid though? I keep reading that meat, especially pork, contains a lot of it and it's supposedly causing inflammation in the body

A lot of times telling things bluntly and as straightforward as possible just doesn’t have the listener process the information in the way you want them to. We use language to provoke ideas and feelings in others.

If you don't go to the bathroom for a month you were beating the purpose of this fast because you're more than likely into Auto intoxication that means whatever you detox you just reabsorbed... Because you're not getting it out of the colon there's such a thing as called an enema if you're fasting like this OMG I hate these incompetent videos that don't cover EVERYTHING

NEVER BREAK A FAST WITH HARD TO DIGEST PROTEIN 😢 TRY A FRUIT WHICH IS A PRE-DIGEDTED FOOD.... THAT'S HOW THEY HAVE HEART ATTACKS BECAUSE THEY STRESS AND SHOCK THE BODY WHEN THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM HAS BEEN SLEEPING AND RESTING THAT LONG YOU CANNOT DO THAT.😮

My only question would be why only 80% of Alzheimer’s patients are either diabetic or insulin resistant. Shouldn’t it be 100% if Alzheimer’s is truly type 3 diabetes?

I lost count of my days either am on my 7th or 8th day. I stopped counting after 4 and starting counting a day before or after I didn't use any energy thinking about it. I think is 8 day .my meditation turned into food meditation but I wanted too but woke these morning and I said I want to do another day and am half way in the day .am not hungry didn't light cleaning around and I took a lot of energy and woke up sore but the way the body feels after resting for 3 days from a work out the body is sour but is not the following day after the work out about 30 percent sore. The plan is drink water and rest and meditate.

If I got a option to go with a nice green curry with chicken I probably gotta go with that but I know I have a small shame for not having a nice big steak cause I prob could of used it more, and I know at this point that white meat chicken causes inflammation spikes in my chest and back thank you covid

Typical carnivore diet propaganda, long on anecdotes and very short on actual science. What about all the rigorous scientific studies that show that humans have better health outcomes when they consume mostly plants. And using clips from Monty Python doesn't lend much credence to your arguments...

Fasting causes a shift to fat (stored fat) burning. Eating fat and no carbs does the same. Carbs raise insulin, which is the primary fat storage promoting hormone. Where to get fat? Faty meat, caveman food! The secret is the absence of carbs.

I ask every food service if they know what type of oil they use in the kitchen. Fast food, sit down restaurants and they never know. Unless it’s a chef cooking, be sure it’s vegetable oil.

I would be curious to know if there are other possible ways to address these root causes, such as: 1) Ensuring a balance of electrolytes, especially magnesium, which may affect chronic muscle tension systemically. 2) Looking into fibrinolytic / proteolytic systemic enzyme supplementation as a way to a) improve blood flow in the short term by thinning blood, b) improving blood flow longer term by aiding intra-vascular scar tissue / necrotic tissue removal, and c) potentially reducing fibrous scar tissue outside of blood vessels. 3) Supplementing with some herbal supplements, such as ginkgo biloba leaf, which has been shown to both improve blood flow short term by thinning blood, but also promotes VEGF (i.e. new blood vessel formation). 4) Looking into if conditions like bruxism contribute to chronic muscle tension...perhaps a side effect of certan drugs, like ADHD stimulants. 5) I have heard alcoholics have lower rates of balding? Is this true? Due to higher blood flow? Or perhaps, a higher rate of aromatase into estrogen vs. DHT?

I wish I could afford it.. I'm stuck in a cycle of eating only rice because that's all I can afford. I have absolutely no energy.. So I don't have any way to try and find other methods of income. I sleep 12-16 hours a day and even when I'm 'awake' i'm too exhausted to do _anything._

I live in a culture that always eat rice. Southeast asia. What i think about this is that it is cope for "culture". No such thing as culture i see it as cope. Its expensive because nobody buys meat anymore and lots of rice production. The reason for they farm lots of rice is only because of money and easy to make That's it. Just pure cope. Yes its true its expensive, but i dont care as long as im healthy
