Really nice & interesting video! Your expertise, delivery, and camera / production work can surely be described as professional. Your southern accent reminded me of my mother’s family: central and western NC. I have a 23 year old Delta contractor saw bought when I decided to take up as a hobby. Similar, but different. Love it. One other comment. I think the newer, beefier motor is much heavier than the original; I would have tried to reinforce it somehow rather than rely on just straightening. Thanks for your work.

Thank you sir! Perfect explanation! Do as this gentleman says and swapping the Heating Element will be a breeze. Pro-tip…the heating element, thermal fuse, and thermostat are usually sold in an inexpensive kit. At the time I’m typing this, the kit was $5 more than just getting the heating element alone. I didn’t change the thermostat but changed the thermal fuse while I had the front of the dryer open. Took all of 3 extra minutes. Good luck!

You just saved me from buying a different coffee maker. Keurig wouldn’t replace it as it was a month out of warranty. They said NOTHING about it being a potential fuse/switch. Imagine how many of these are in a landfill Resetting the switch worked perfectly. Thank you, you’re awesome!! Never buying another Keurig again though.

I wholeheartedly agree with all the positive comments below, so all I can say is 'ditto'. One question, though. My problem happened when I accidently tried to brew a cup of coffee with a dry reservoir. The Keurig has often warned me of a low water level and refused to operate until more was added, so I was surprised that it did not balk at a no-water condition. Any thoughts on that?

What kind of files are those that you can download off their site if you don't mind me asking. Is it only for their machines or can every one use them? Oh yeah, that was pretty fast for a 1/16 bit. Maybe I'm going too slow.

I removed de cover, press the dot and it started working again, problem is, a day later the same problem, this time I made sure it had water and still the same.

This did the trick! Amazing. I was so happy to be able to fix my machine. Kudos to you for the astute diagnosis which few would have the expertise or patience to do. I ended up using a thin finish nail to reset the thermal switch. Thank you for adding the disassembly process - super helpful. Can’t thank you enough for such a thorough and thoughtful video.

Yeah , how to fix them for free as you got to reset the thermostat with a Paper clip 😂
@Mahigeer1Ай бұрын
Sorry not too helpful. You should NEVER have continuity as shown between hot and natural lines. How did you remove and reinstall the cover, etc.? Also, the thermistor does not need to be detached from the heating tube to be checked or reset with wire.

Had this exact problem and followed this video and it worked! Mine overheated because while descaling I forgot to add water at one point when it needed; it smoked and apparently overheated. Mine is a slightly different machine but I took everything apart just the way he said and found that little switch to reset and it did the trick. Thank you!

I was trying to descale my Keurig Supreme Plus and I guess it overheated and machine stopped working. It will not power on despite holding the 8oz and 10oz buttoms together for 5 seconds or pulled the plug and waited 15 minutes. I was 10 seconds away from tossing it out my window until I found this video. I managed to unscrew 3 phillips under the machine, pried open the case (which was difficult), but I didn't care because I was going to toss it out the window anyways. Once opened, I located the thermostat with a hole in the middle. I stick a sim card pin in and felt the "click". I plugged in the power right away and BAMMMMMMM.....IT'S ALIVE! IT'S WORKING AGAIN. EASIER THAN ANTICIPATED AND IT WAS AWESOME!
