Hey! I wanted to ask for something really quick. I would really appreciate an answer from anyone. Am I working too much? I'm 14 (turning 15 in 12 days). I'm working 7 days a week for about 4,5-6 h per day. I'm still recovering from a knee injury so I cant do plyometrics, deep squats and stuff like that. That's also why I haven't started a VertProgram yet. My workouts contain a lot of skills training (ball-handling, shooting, iso moves etc.), lower body workout (One leg RDL, Kettleball swing, isometric holds...), Upper body Calisthenics, and then some cardio, ab training and quite a lot of flexibility and mobility (foam rolling, dynamic stretching...). Would mean a world to me to hear your thoughts and advice. Also which VertProgram should I start when I'm 100% again. I have BounceKit, VertShock, Jump Manual and a few others (I have got them for free). Can't sadly buy Vertcodes, my parents won't let me... Have a nice day whoever u are!!

Hugo Stepanoff Im around your age bro (im 16) and at our age we can train a lot and recover well. I think giving yourself 1 day a week to rest could be good. If you feel super tired or fatigued and cant focus then you should definitely take some recovery. But honestly, if you never feel like u need to recover and are always feeling good, keep training man. Im doing a similar thing to you with the long training sessions. Im really just focusing on sleeping well, eating and hydrating well for my recovery. Out of the programs you have, I definitely wouldn’t recommend vertshock. It is not a terrible program but it is all plyos with no progressions or sub max plyos to build tissue quality or anything. The workouts stay the same the whole program basically. It is also just a marketing scam and how they guarantee a dunk in 8 weeks and 9-15 inches like it is impossible to guarantee that. Out of the programs you said, I think JumpManual would definitely be better than vertshock but I havent seen bouncekit to know. Hope that helps my man keep grinding

I love this podcast you get so much good information, but just for the record the crazy lean nba guys are not 5%. they are mabye at the least 8%, wich is Extremely lean, and most people cant achive that bodyfat without feeling like shit, but 5% is just ridiculous most bodybuilders dont even get that lean at shows.

but if you look at their predraft measurements they always come up like 4-6%. which doesnt SEEM accurate but its how its been for years

They are not 8% either 10-14% 8% for a natural should take someone like learn 250-10lbs + water weight would put him at 235-238lbs.
