i really like your channel and what you're providing, however for this particular video , i would prefer examples of brands from the same industry to understand more how they differentiated themselves in that very busy market like Mercedes with BMW and Jaguar or Nike with Adidas and puma and so on

what is the difference between brand language and tone of voice ? Also what exactly are brand characteristics can you help out with that one ?
@BrandMasterAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Language are the words you use... Tone is the spirit in which you use them... characteristics are the attributes that shape the way you cvommunicate

Great video Of these examples - which one is the Magician?
@BrandMasterAcademy3 жыл бұрын
There are no clear-cut magician archetype brands from these examples... Coke has an element of the Magician with the association of magical moments (eg Christmas)

"Nike", such an EU pronunciation... in the states (as you know) we call it "Ny-kee" ;) love the content keep it up
@BrandMasterAcademy4 жыл бұрын
😀 - I know - I actually talk about this in BMS. Even the execs at Nike were confused for a while until they asked Phil Knight himself.. "ey Phil, is it Nike or Nikeeey"... "Nikeeey, Phile said"... But I can't unlearn what I was saying for 30+ years - I'm stuck with this handicap 😂

@@BrandMasterAcademy Don't sweat it. We Americans can't say Adidas correctly. Pronounce it like it's suppose to be pronounced to an American and you'll induce a massive ??? on their forehead. AH-dee-DOS (We say ah-DEED-us)

Great video and well broken down examples. Wouldn't you say that brands have always spoken to consumers in a human way though? Coca cola has been communicating happiness for years as have many other brands which connects to us as humans with emotional based tactics. I don't personally think much has changed but curious to hear your perspective. Please provide examples if so of what has changed.
@BrandMasterAcademy4 жыл бұрын
It has definitely changed in my opinion. Communication from brands to consumers has always been monologue (as in there's no response expected). Now it's dialogue, so a response is expected and brands are now communication in a much more conversational way

What do you think about Jennifer Aaker's Brand Personality concept to establish the Brand Personality?
@BrandMasterAcademy3 жыл бұрын
I found it too rigid for me. These are all just tools... Use the right tool for the right job and use what works for you
@khaojaimuaythai27294 жыл бұрын
Hi, I have a question on about this video. The Personality traits that you've listed for each brand. Are they based on your own observations or have they been sourced from the brand itself?
@BrandMasterAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Brands don’t communicate their traits by telling you what they are. The communicate them by displaying them the same way people do. So these are based on observations beyond my own

What is the difference between brand personalities and brand archetypes?
@BrandMasterAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Archetypes are a personality framework to help you understand personalities and group attributes.... A brand's personality is a lot more tangible as it brings the brand to life through it's tones, attitudes and opinions
@nikhileshshrikhande51773 жыл бұрын
Why u didnt connect it with brand archetype ? Like Lego is a Creator.....
