Yummy small breakfast toasts! As usual simple and well explained. In Japan I very often had natto on toast as breakfast. Mixed with a raw egg yolk, karashi and a little sauce plus S&B chili powder on top. Sadly no natto in Europe, I really miss it. The best was the people from the countryside coming in to town now and then and selling home made natto wrapped in big leaves. Some came twice a week to the Kawabata shopping arcade in Nakasu, Fukuoka, but sold their natto from the trunk of a car. I caught them as often as I could. Natto from the supermarket is also good and often comes with sauce. I have a two fingered plastic natto mixing fork from a one coin shop :-)) Now it just hangs on the wall, miss natto. It is funny being a gaijin in Japan, when you talk to strangers the third question that always comes up is: do you eat natto? :-)) Keep the vids coming, great job!

Haha! Your story is really impressive, and the last part (question about natto) is really funny. Maybe I would ask the same thing to people from overseas... 😂 You seem really love natto. And, your natto toast recipe is very nice (better than mine!!?) I wanna try the one! Thank you so much for watching my videos and your warm comment 😊🙏 I wish you could enjoy natto in your country too. Maybe you enjoy it when you visit here!!

I love your videos. So quick, simple, and practical but looks very tasty. Btw we never use that kind of meat sauce for spaghetti or Italian noodles in the US, because it's too sweet. BUT we do have something almost identical in flavor that we use to make sandwiches. We call those sandwiches 'Sloppy Joes' 🤣
@JapaneseCookingChannel2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I just googled "sloppy joes" that you taught me! Yea, it looks like the one I showed in the video😆 I've never known&tasted before... now I wanna try that! Anyway, thank you so much for watching my video and your comment😍

Thanks for the tip about heating natto. I haven't tried it yet but want to due to the amazing health benefits. Heating might kill off some of the probiotics but it could be an entry level.

These look amazing! Is that Canadian bacon (fully cooked /similar to ham)? It’s not raw bacon, right? I will definitely try these, thank you!

Thank you for your comment! Yea, I think the bacon in the video is kind of like that you say. It's probably cooked in the manufacturing process.
