He is famous for being able of withstanding extreme cold, he has climbed Mount Everest wearing shorts, he holds the World Record for icebaths and he is the man behind the global ’cold-shower’-trend. I went down to visit him in the Netherlands where he told me about his breathing techniques that makes it possible for him to withstand the cold and how these techniques can make us more healthy.

Wim is such a humane and connected with everyone...you can feel safe and supported like by trustable father and alive life and natural not overcrowded optimism and joy just fulfilling and flowing around. More natural and simple he is shown more trustable and true and worthy life simple things are priceless and so nice that those things are achievable and never overcrowded with any big kind of eastern mysticism about all sorts of energies or names but expressed as it is in meaning and everyone can have own space and minds to describe or name or find word what it is or happens when you do the practice in real practise and not in kind of confused arrogant eastern philosophy minds about human capabilities but in reasonable balance between your own minds and feelings with awareness and belief and understanding with consciousness leaving a lot of space for your own interpretations...but happy even without words just living and expressing beautiful natural and nature things respecting nature but not making her religious object just being thankful but not heading to dangerous or harmful and destructive practices involvements to you or someone who is seeking good for himself and others...very big respect for Wim!
