Hi, my name is Callie and I'm a certified Pilates and Barre instructor and certified holistic health coach. As a former competitive figure skater who struggled with body image and chronic injuries, I fell in love with low-impact “flow” type workouts, like Pilates and barre. After spending many years feeling bloated, low energy and discouraged, I realized the power of listening to how your body feels before/during/after your workout. My pet peeve about workouts has always been how out of shape I feel the whole time I’m doing them, but this was so calm and easy while still feeling like I got a nice little workout was so awesome. Loved it!

Same! I always struggle with trying beginners stuff because it is always so intense and this was great and just... Met me where I am and didn't make it about position but rather about engagement. Loved it so much.

I'm 5 months late but I'm really happy that I came across this video. I couldn't agree more. Some beginner video just makes you feel much more heavy and more conscious of your weight. This video is easy to follow and makes you feel better about yourself.

I used to be incredibly athletic, but the past few years I’ve dealt with depression and chronic illness. Every time I try to exercise it either invokes symptoms or makes me feel like crap. I found this channel and I am so grateful, this is the first workout that I can do while feeling mentally and physically strong enough to do it. Thank you Callie, we love you!!

@@Gabby-iy6ir exactly. i didnt like anything about myself, but the thing i hated least were my natural freckles and my eyes. so thats what id compliment abt myself. and then the moles on my body (which used to be a massive insecurity but my boyfriend has helped a lot.) and then my skin colour, and then now im slowly learning to love little things about myself.

Callie, I've been severely overweight my entire life due to an autoimmune and very low mobility. I haven't exercised in years & felt so bad about myself. I bought a mat and jumped into this today and just wanted to thank you. It wasn't super easy but it wasn't so hard that I gave up and your words at the end with the self hug made me tear up. Thank you for making me feel like I can do this and maybe have a normal life again eventually.

A beginner workout that is actually a beginner workout that didnt make me feel horrible about myself. Alot say their beginner but if your out of shape for whatever reason it can be so hard to follow along. This was amazing. Love the affirmations, the flow and style and general encouragement. Will definitely do this again. I hope you have other videos like this too.

I absolutely LOVE how you give form advice in these workouts. A lot of fitnesstubers don't tell you where you should be actually FEELING a movement, or they use anatomical names that are confusing to beginners. brava!

This was incredible I've had whiplash for the past year and have recently been feeling strong enough to attempt a work out. Your affirmations carried me through and help me not judge myself for the things I could not do. actually crying while I type I didn't know how much I needed that.

i've been dealing with symptoms of eating disorder leading me to starve and be never active. I lost a lot of muscle weight and I suffer from anemia : every "beginner" workout is way to difficult to me, I can't manage to do the exercise in the good way... I want my body to build back its strenght, and it's literally the first video I was able to do without problem. in addition the stretches at the end makes me feel so good afterwards !! it's way to soft to magically bring my body strenght back but doing this in the morning to prepare for a day is a breathe of fresh air ! thank you so much for this !!

This workout killed me! I was suffering from depression and started to workout ever since cardio is my thing and I felt strong but when I tried this it provided pain to every tissue of my body but I is really great workout and helps in flexibility and it moves your body

I randomly decided to give your video a try this morning and really did not expect it to effect me so much. Usually when watching workout videos I feel so discouraged because I can’t seem to keep up but your words made me feel so good about what I was doing. I’ve been working out for years now and mostly do traditional strength training at the gym with dumb bells, but i decided to try something today and this was killer! i feel like pilates really works so many different muscles that I’m not used to using with my typical dumb bell / resistance workouts! i’m so excited to see where this takes me :)

I know this video is a year old, but I still wanted to say thank you. For almost 2 whole years I couldn’t do any kinds of workouts, nothing from the stuff I usually did, I couldn’t even take a short walk. It was so bad that all I was able to do was walk through my apartment only if it was needed for the bathroom or food/water. Even in the shower I needed to sit down. Duo those horrific health conditions I’ve went through (and sometimes still struggle with) I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass and flexibility. Not to mention how fast I’m out of breath.. Since I’ve finally began to get into a better condition, I’ve been trying to work on that again. I noticed not only physically but also mentally my body needs the movement again! So I’ve tried out a couple of things, but everything was too fast, too hard, too harsh, I could simply never catch up and it was never fun. But this video is so gentle and beginner friendly, it’s such a great pace, and the little affirmations in between are so sweet and so kind. This time I was actually finally able to enjoy it! And it wasn’t too hard for me to catch up

i set my goal for this month and that is im gonna start doing pilates and like today's 1st of june and i was being lazy and then decided im just gonna find one today and do it tomorrow and i found yours and i was like okay let's do it and i did it and i felt so good even though i couldn't do the last one properly im not that flexible, im happy i still moved my body these 14 minutes passed real quick. I'm so proud of myself for doing it AND i love this woman's aura i felt so safe and comfortable while doing it with her xoxo

Thank you so much for this. Your attitude is so different than a lot of other workout video creators. I’ve never been fit but my doctor recommended Pilates and this was a wonderful introduction. Will be doing this again tomorrow!

huhu this workout is so gentle! I don't have the courage to continue working out because my last workout is so hard, my whole body is aching so i can't focus on my class. But this workout, it released the pain of my body. I'm so glad that i found her recommendations on tiktok

I cannot believe I actually finished a Workout 🎉🎉🎉🎉 (Edit- A year later) I use to do these daily from April to June but stopped for some reason. It’s a year later and May 2024 and I’m on a ballet strength and flexibility journey, you are my go to Pilates teacher!!!!

This is the first pilates exersise ive tried and i loved it so much. Ive only ever done home workouts and i can find they are normally hard to follow, expect too much from beginners or are just overstimulating. Decided to try pilates today and im so lucky i found your channel! I dont think i would of thought i was capable if it wasnt for your video, You are so encouraging and this is a great workout for beginners. So, I had to stop this video a few times to take a breather, but after each small break, I turned it back on so I could finish. After I was so happy that I didn't give up. I put on another short video of hers for abs. Then, I did a small arm work out of my own. This is the most I've done in a while aside from just walking. Happy that I've taken a small step into getting back in shape. Going to keep doing these videos for a month and watch my body and strength transform. This is everyone's sign to not give up! Do it at your own pace. Don't feel bad if you need to pause the video and relax for a minute. You're doing amazing!

Thank you for this! I am a year off of working out and was completing dreading getting back into it, especially with my wrist injury, but this has seriously given me some positive motivation. I appreciate how calm and welcoming everything is and it's so easy to modify for my wrist. I'm ready for another one tomorrow and the next day and the day after...

I LOVE the positivity talk. I used to take martial arts class so the workouts were intense. I stopped for a while and now just starting to get into fitness again.

I put on 4 stone in the last year over losing my brother to his own depression. I used to be chronically underweight and now even though I'm in "normal" I don't feel fit at all. I've been wanting to do fitness for a while but my own depression gets in the way. Just finished the first one but I don't even know if I should be and that I could potentially be making myself worse. I've been seeing a physiotherapist (not getting referred to a rheumatologist) about rheumatic arthritis or Ankylosing spondylitis. I'm only 23 but the pain in my joints, mostly my knees and my back, has become nearly crippling. It definitely hurts kneeling down for this, along with making myself do a lot of them but I'm determined. I feel proud of doing just one day despite it hurting like crazy 😂 I've also developed a huge headache afterwards but I get headaches all of the time after doing anything at all so it's cool Even though my body sucks, I think your video was great. Very easy to follow along, calm and reassuring. I'll see you in the next one!

I have been struggling to find workouts that I like. I’ve learned that low impact exercise is better for me. I’ve always liked yoga but I never felt “stretchy enough” to properly do it. And it always calmed me down instead of energizing me when I needed it. If all Pilates has this energy, I think Pilates will be my energizing exercises. I’m a bigger girl and my body does not always do like the women in the videos, but this video was different. I love it!

Just found yourself channel literally 20 mins ago and I absolutely LOVE you. How you speak kind and encouraging words throughout the whole routine. I’m trying to get back into working out again and taking care of my body and this routine really helped me. It wasnt too difficult but wasnt too easy either and again I just loved how you kept reminding me to speak kind words to myself ❤❤❤

Love that you make people feel good about themselves , that we shouldnt be hard on ourselves. Dont worry about your words not coming out right. You do good and we know what you are saying. Also i appreciate the tips of how to move and stretch your body. You might feel silly saying the basic things, but thats exactly what beginners need!

I've been doing this exercise for three days, I am very underweight and weak, i end up sick after any exercise, however, this pilates have left me feeling ready for more, love it!

❤This girl is IT! My January goal is to do a mat workout twice a week. This workout was just challenging enough. But she is good! With the gentle voice and beautiful, positive affirmations. I’ve subscribed because I’m going to keep coming back to her workouts.

Wow this was awesome! I’ve been dealing with a lot and haven’t worked out in years but this was great! A nice gentle introduction back into working out consistently without crushing me and making me feel defeated for being out of shape. Also, extremely endometriosis/low iron friendly!
