@@Wild_stream064 The 80s Haas was really bad. They had everything: money, well known leaders, superstar constructors (Oatley, Brawn, Newey) and titled driver Alan Jones and managed gather only handful of points within two years. And the video is panning some small semiamateurish underfunded teams.

If you make an effort on the names, that would help. Maybe go more in depth instead of just rushing through it. I wasn't impressed.

Also, it should be noted that a major reason for Forti and Lola going bankrupt as soon as they did was the 107% rule which was introduced in 1996. That rule was specifically created to get rid of embarassing teams like Forti, but also Andrea Moda, Life, Pacific, etc.

I subbed you, on the condition you clean up the rough edges, mainly the mispronunciations -- some like @5:35 are just completely unacceptable. It makes for an uneven, distracting listening experience, subject matter is irrelevant at this point. But I like the effort, and want to help new creators get a shot. You're on the right track as you did appear in my feed, but taking a look at the comments, some improvements are needed. Good luck, and keep grinding. I'll be watching.

Fun fact: during the Monaco gp weekend, Roberto Moreno made the impossible for Andrea Moda and qualified the car to compete the race, and with that, Brazil nicknamed Moreno as The miraculous, cause he made miracles for smaller teams like: Coloni, Andrea Moda and Forti Corse

The intent of this video is worthy but there is a problem common to other videos narrated by English speakers. You HAVE TO learn to pronounce it correctly. If I didn't look at the clip, it was really hard to understand that the 1st team was Andrea Moda, the 3rd one was Forti and so on, not to mention the wrong pronounciation of drivers and engineers. I recommend you to check the correct pronounce on Forvo or something similar before recording a video.

I would exclude Super Aguri and replace them with the little known Kauhsen team. They were a team that tried to build a Lotus 79 “clone” but failed to understand how the ground effect worked and the car was garbage. When they finally built a car, resources were sapped and they were the slowest in the two Grands Prix they entered in 1979 before folding.

Super Aguri used modified 2002 Arrows chassis for the 2006 season. Four year old chassis previously owned and used by a backmarker, which were originally designed for V10 engines as well. The team was indeed solely founded to give Sato a seat, which was absurd considering it was just Sato. They initially paired him up with Yuji Ide, who got permanently banned from F1 after only 4 races. The fact that Honda gave them an outdated, second-hand, backmarker chassis and the worst F1 driver of all time, just so they could support a random driver like Sato, makes Super Aguri the worst ever F1 team to me. By far.

I think Life's W12 was actually potentially a good idea, just it was stopped by their very limited resources. SuperAguri back in their days were my 2.nd favorite after Ferrari, always loved that kind of underdog stories.

@@only_revved_up It was considered very down on power, but I think it was more like kept down on it for reliability issues - They only had built one, and since there was no money for more they had to make it just with it. Again, money was the biggest problem which sank down a potentially good idea.

Thank you for this excellent video. It has scored you a new subscriber. It is refreshing to find a Formula 1 video that contains the human touch. I would be tempted to include Arrows in the list, and there will be people who will howl at that thought. However, the team frequently landed lucrative sponsorship deals, some of the sport's best designers and engineers, gained access to some class-leading engines, and had a roster of excellent drivers throughout its history. However, it seemed to do nothing but burn sponsors, suppliers, and staff, and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. On that basis, I believe that it qualifies. Congratulations on the video, and I look forward to seeing more.

First one... Buy the remains of Coloni was already a fail as that team was arguably among the worst F1 teams so far. Best finish in 19th place because seven other cars retired before them.

@alexlazebat839 during the history dozens of teams never scored points because they were small ja underfunded. Logical. Its hard to get results with little money anywhere. But Haas Lola had money and superstar team (Meyer, Brawn, Jones etc) but scored only some points during tge two seasons. The Worst.

I don't really understand, if you build a F1 car you can test it on an F1 track and see if your laptimes are competitive before you engage in a million dollar money pit. Personally I wouldn't invest any further if my times aren't 5 seconds faster consistently so you can easily blow the compitition to the retirement home. Sun Tzu really, first win the championship before entering the race.

This is so emotionless. I was beginning to think that you were AI due to the constant mispronunciations along with your lack of movement. Its just yapping, no soul or excitement. Not to mention the script may be AI, as you always end with pretty good lessons for each team but they sound so manufactured.
