sun salutations are the best yoga. I felt so nice after doing them. Even though it was quite tireing to do I still had a productive thinking in my mind. I have been doing 108 Sun salutations for about a week and now my body has started feeling better than the first day and also I am able to do it easier than before. Its all about practise wish you a good life. stay healthy, stay safe.

Rashmi , OM ! Thank you for this upload . I have been following the 108 SN video of your since last years lockdown . It has been very helpful & elevating . I have now started doing 216 SN ( by the grace of Shiva 🙏) so I have to repeat this video twice . I have a request if you could put up a version on KZbin of 216 SN then it will be very helpful , given you will build the pace according to 216 ! I can then use your other videos to slowly build up my practice beyond 216 too by the grace of Mahadeva ! Also it will be great if you can add some pranayama at the beginning and/or the end along with the relaxation that you already have to make the practice comprehensive . Currently I have to toggle between different videos to get the full practice . I will be very grateful if this is possible . Loads of blessings . Om Shanti 🙏

Day 3 - 48 Day 4 - reached till 72 ...slowing down speed for 24-48 to 0.75..then continued on normal speed

Hi, I started with your cardio suryanamaskar workout last month with 4 full round and kept on increasing every 2 days until I reached 12 full rounds, then I mixed it with PCOS workout with meditation 12 full round cardio suryanamaskars and then the Asanas for PCOS, since last week I am following this 108 suryanamaskars with PCOS WORKOUT session, 1st meditation, then 48 suryanamaskars and PCOS asanas, the increased to 72 and only yesterday for the first time I completed 108 rounds of Suryanamaskars 😇😇 I am planning to continue with this routine for my weightloss and curing PCOS along with healthy diet and 2-3L of water intake. I have already reduced 2Kgs in 1 week.

Reduced the playback speed to 0.75 to complete my little relaxed version of 108 Surya namaskars. The joy when I heard you say congratulations you completed 108 Surya namaskars. 💃😆 Thank you once again . Is it a good idea to do 108 surya namaskar everyday for weightloss ? 🙏

Does reducing playback speed to 0.75 also increases the time of the video? Thought of asking as it shows the same time. Also, thanks for making me aware of reducing playback speed. It will become much easier for me to happily complete 108 suryanamaskar :)

If you do 108 Sun salutations you should do at a good slow pace, especially do it with listening to the mantra, but if you do Sun salutations as a warm-up exercise for a Yoga session then you need to practice at a fast pace. Some of my sharing as a classical Yoga teacher. OM. Peace!

Thank you very much for the video. Is it possible to reduce speed to 1 minute per cycle ? With this speed not getting enough time for knees to land on the mat properly. That's causing knee pain. If possible can you make video to finish 54 cycles in 54 minutes and 15 minutes for yoga nidra?

Probably because you ate something before doing surya namaskars. Keep a gap of atleast 2 hours

Keep gradually increasing the time you do it. Start week 1 at 10 minutes then move on to 15 and then 20. Your body will get used to it.

Is it 54 left and right counting upto 108? Is this the maximum in Surya Namaskar, anyone will try to do? Celebrities say they do 108. Does that mean 54 left and right? Bit confused and curious to know.

Yes it is 54 rounds which is 54*2 so it is 108. This is what they do. :)

108 is counted when you do 54 sets. If you did 108 sets that would be 216.

Im 32 years and 75kg female.can i also do 108 suryanamaskaras.no problem im little bit having fear.after doiin any health issues come or knee pain.i had 2 c section.i want to loose pregnency weight.

If you let fear take over you won't lose that weight. Just take it slow and easy. No need to rush.

Hi Rashmi. Does the audio pick up speed but that's super quick for 108 Surya namaskar. First Time Hence asking.

Yes the count is slower for the first three rounds and then picks up speed. Once you keep doing it you will get used to the pace. If you do it too slow it might take longer than 2 hours to complete.

Dear Rashmi, it would real out help of the current count could be announced before each round. I found the tempo too fast but hopefully will catch up with some practice.

There is a marker count for 24, 48, 72 and then 107 rounds.

Is it really a 108 !!😱 I can’t believe it !! I am just at 20 mins and I can’t believe I did 50 sn in 20 mins ! Howww ? Wow ! Your voice is meditative and calm and encouraging. Much love 💕 Update at 27 mins : did 72 sn🧘‍♀️ happy and my arms are dead . But I don’t feel very tired .

Hi Rashmi... i have done 108 suryanamaskars on my Yoga day, many times in my gym & with my trainer. but during lockdown,i found "you" on You tube... & was very happy to complete 108 surya namaskars with your guided audio instructions.just a query ... how often is advisable to perform 108 Surya namaskars, once in a week or once in a month?? because rest of the week i do traditional yoga practice & functional workouts also.so please reply...TIA🙏

It's totally upto you honestly. But if you want to maintain a schedule and vary your workouts between a yoga practice and functional workouts I would do 108 Surya namaskar once a week.
