In this 12 Minute Deep Stretch, you will be stretching with me, Sydney Cummings as we go through 24 stretches for your entire body. We will hold each stretch for 30 seconds and move directly into the next stretch without pausing. Our stretch will start with deep breaths to calm your mind and then we will target the muscles and joints in the upper body begging with shoulder, bicep, tricep, and back stretches. We will fold forward and work out way down to the floor where we will target our joints and muscles again. We will target the hamstrings, calves, lower back, hips, psoas, glutes, abductors, and quads. This workout is intended to be utilized alone or post workout, but not before a workout.

7. Left Arm Cross Body Stretch
8. Lock Fingers Behind Body Forward Fold
9. Toe Touch
10. Side to Side Walk Around legs
11. Downward Dog
12. Hip Flexor Stretch Right Leg
13. Pigeon Stretch Right Leg
14. Upward Dog
15. Hip Flexor Stretch Left Leg
16. Pigeon Stretch Right Leg
17. Seated Butterfly Stretch Left Side
18. Seated Butterfly Stretch Right Side
19. Open Legs Left Side Stretch
20. Open Legs Right Side Stretch
21. Open Legs Middle Stretch
22. Lay on back Right Hamstring Stretch
23. Lay on Back Left Hamstring Stretch
24. Upward Dog Left to Right Stretch

I love this stretch for days when I'm short on time and can't do one of the 20 minute sessions; however, the music drives me crazy, especially the during the last couple of minutes it's hard to think about the stretches bc the music is not relaxing at all. I'll keep using it though bc it's a great short stretch routine! ; )

I agree. I have been doing a Sydney stretch every night for about 2 months now...the music in this video was so much louder than Sydney's voice. It was hard to get past. The music could be switched up in general, in my opinion. I still love the stretches and the workouts.

Excellent stretching video after your workouts! The music, however, is awful, distracting and not suited to a cool down, stretch video.

What do you suggests doing if I cannot hold my leg straight while on my back and hold it and keep my shoulders flat? I hope that makes sense

I finally got the open leg split stretch with my entire chest head body down completely to the floor these stretches are super powerful help my gymnastics moves cartwheels and splits

I recently do Insanity and always find the three minuts cool down is far from enough. 10-15 minutes deep stretch is perfect for me. Love this strech.
