I've not been able to get out and walk for a while and it definitely takes it's toll when I can't. So indoor walking is the thing to do and it certainly got my heart pumping and my legs working. Thanks Cindy I must work this one into my exercise routine 🙂

To anyone considering this workout: TRY IT! Cindy, you have an infectious can-do attitude. There's something about your positive energy and physicality that reminds me of the lovely Gilda Radner. She always puts a smile on my face and so do you ... thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :) :) :) Me: 60+ with knees that need coddling. Reliant on my treadmill for years, but when it needed repairs I tried walking cardio videos. I discovered they add a welcome variety to my indoor exercise routine, so I've kept doing them even though the treadmill is now fixed! I've tried at least 20 different walking cardio videos and this one is OUTSTANDING. I appreciate you!

Perfect for my walking indoors, since it's too hot outside. As always you are an encouragement. I heard a good 15 minute walk is equal to a 1 mile walk outside.

This one again I finished 'pushing through the pain to quote my vascular nurse although I bet her ears were burning. Thank you for this and taking suggestions for future videos. I'm often in need of short videos of 3 to 15 minutes that are low impact with some dance steps. I want to learn an extraordinary number of dances, even if just the basic steps. Incorporating them into cardio workouts accomplishes more than one thing at a time. Your moving in time to music plus your verbal coaching and explanations are so rare but so important to me.

I did the whole fifteen minutes today, seeing Lira did it after 45 mins Zumba, still feeling very happy, reading my other post I had only managed 5 mins that time. I admit I slowed down a little in the middle (but didn't stop) because my calf was so painful. The vascular nurse said to push through the pain when I do my exercises or I am out and about as it will help the blood flow to my arteries. Your exercises are so good also as you change the routine which helps. I also did 15 mins of one of your cardio routines this morning so thought I should be able to manage this one this afternoon. I think I now deserve a cuppa Thanks Cindy 🙂

Good morning, Cindy! I wasn't expecting that this video would be my style, but I really enjoyed it, and my fitness monitor *loved* it- 1200 steps, over a kilometre! This is a perfect mix of walking with just enough twists in the steps and arm movements to make it interesting. I was surprised at what a good workout it is, and I appreciated the cool-down at the end-- another winner!!!

I've been doing some of your exercises Cindy and managing them happily so thought I'd have a go at this one as a change and the weather is too cold for me to go out as I have angina amongst other things 🙂I'm nearly ashamed to say I only managed five minutes but it's still five minutes to get my heart pumping etc and this will now be another goal to go for so I can do the 15 eventually without collapsing in a chair after five ;-) Thanks.

Hi Cindy! I just found you while searching specifically for walking videos for seniors. I used to work out every day, first on a Norditrack in my 40s, then on a Bellicon in my 50s after treatment for breast cancer in 2009. After a car accident in 2016 and some other life events, I stopped my workouts and only did them very occasionally, often using a recumbent bike. While I love my recumbent, it's not the same cardio workout as my mini-trampoline. I used my trampoline today while watching your walking workout and modified movements a bit so I didn't fall off! :) This was just what I needed to get back on track. I love your energy and enthusiasm and I liked and subscribed. THANK YOU!

I did this for a little extra effort cool down after the 45 minute Zumba. It's going to be perfect to add to my morning wake up stretch routine. I'm going to also forward it to my mom. Her doctor wants her to get more exercise. I think this will be just right to get her started. Now, I just need to find something for my once very active sister who is confined to a wheelchair, but misses working out terribly.
