@@Neomustangs another thing to think about, add TrickFlow ported heads, Ported Holley or TrickFlow TrackHeat intake with Comp Cams XE282 and watch 9's on a stock Short Block easily attainable! But I would put a main support on the short block and would not expect long life😂😂! I had a 93 Cobra with the setup I just mentioned but had high compression 11.1 with some pistons matched to my heads but no Turbo, I used NOS, anywhere from 90-225 shot😁. It did real well. NA it put just over 406hp to the tires running 11.73 full weight on motor, 10.49@132 with a 150shot, I love those fox body's still to this day the best!! So easy to make fast!

@gregwilliams43804 жыл бұрын
@@Neomustangs yeah I know, minus the turbo! But if you put that same turbo on the motor I had you would have been in the 715hp+ range to the tires in the 9's with a GT but it would never last long on a factory block. You car is super impressive stock! I was just telling you the Fox Body setup I had. That's it. Also the fact that these new GT500's run almost 100grand and depending on model 105,000 dollars for 675hp range stock to the wheels when you can take a GT bone stock like you did and run just a hair slower or add heads, Cam and intake and blow there doors off. Fox Body's by far are the best dragstrip cars Ford has ever made still to this day. Get a Dart Sportsman iron block or go all out and get the Dart Racing Aluminum block that can hold over 2000hp easily, stroke it to a 347 with 10.1 compression with forged setup and throw a twin turbo setup on it with all the goodies making is much power as you want or a 351 stroked to a 408 is even better and a built auto with a complete drag setup and run 7's reliably if done right for under 30k. The GT500 is a awesome ride but I love the Fox Body, My favorite is the 93 Cobra, then probably a 03/04 Cobra as that motor bone stock can handle well over 1000hp bone stock! And the Notchback Fox Body. I also liked the 2000 Cobra R with the 5.4. Great job either way. I'm just rambling. LOL

@Blue-uk6fd5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I have a 4617 so it’s a 2.87 1st gear, prob is my 5th gear is a 0.82 so it revs like 3000rpm at 60Mph. I’m an 1/8 mile guy as well. 1/4 I surly have to shift into 5th and may run out of gear on a 26” tire. 28” would be a tight squeeze on my car
@jojog83045 жыл бұрын
331 s/c is my setup except I still have a T5Z, over 50 passes and daily driver. 585whp full emissions. Just a blast compared to the comfy coyotes. If you have a custom blower cam, 3.55 all the way...it’ll really use that 1st gear in the tko. 3.73s, you’ll run out of mph (5th) with that much power. Awesome stock setup. Turbo is the way to go, only if it was legal for daily drivers out here in the west. T5 always takes a beating if you shift normally. Try a radial tire pass!

I have a question I’m trying to turbo my foxbody with the on3 turbo and my question is are the gt40 heads/intake and a Bcam good enough or do I have to do other mods? I want to keep it stock with the 302

I can't believe you finally hit a 10 on a basic stock engine and a turbo. I'm telling you, you got me thinking harder on a MAF conversion and slapping one on mine. Do you do these for people?

Man I’m so busy. I mean it’s really not difficult however me doing most of the work helps save on a lot of cost.

I see you cutting those .42 short times. Is that on a primarily stock suspension? You think a good USED set up uppers and lowers drops you a solid .10 in the 60?
