Thank you for this video. Although not a senior, I have a mobility disability (partial standing/walking ability but terrible balance) and I really struggle with finding doable stretches for my quads as they’re the tightest of my muscles from sitting all the time. Most suggestions for stretching quads are really hard for me to do solo. The seated quad stretch in your video was the most relief I have felt for over a year!

I spent the last several weeks packing up, moving most of our stuff, doing an absurd amount of cleaning,getting paint carpet and repairs done and staging our house, so I haven't been able to work out, except in the sense that most days involve 20-50 times going up and down the stairs, carrying things and scrubbing. They just shot the house photos Fridays and we've got a couple of days before we list. There is no way I could have done all of the work I've done over the past weeks without having worked out with you over the last year. Thanks for helping me to have the energy and strength to get all of this done! And thanks for this video because I am sore all over.

Moving is an insane amount of work...but, it also means a lot of physical movement and exercise so you're likely getting in a lot more exercise and steps than you even realize. This video helped me warm up before running errands. I felt so goodafter I walked 45 minutes before I got I got a taxi to bring meback home. Got much needed movement and saved $4.00! Hi Jules, just came across your videos and it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have left knee issues and right hip issues and I need to start stretching. My hope is that with your videos my mobility and flexibility return. I have super tight inner thigh ligaments as well as arthritis on my knee and hips. Welcome to my channel, Helen! I'm sorry to read about the injuries but I hope my workouts will help to get you stronger as you recover. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the seated options. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel. Lastly, I upload all of the workouts from both channels to my website at www.improvedhealthforseniors.com I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.

I agree, seated stretching is for all ages. I simply put 'seniors' since I feel a lot of people put in the search bar: 'seated exercises for seniors'.
