Since dengaku is quite rich, I'd recommend keeping it light with miso soup (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGXEiX2pm9GSidU) and rice (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYbSk3ujmK6CmZo), or making it a side dish paired with simple grilled fish (like mackerel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZPPhGOpj7dmprs or salmon: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZmkin2fhrKiipI), miso soup, and rice. Both options create a balanced Japanese meal! 😊

if i were to broil in a standard oven, would i use a low or high setting?
