Like I have said before with all those Ford and GM brand loyal individuals. Ram has greatly improved there reliability. Yes some issues happen and with every brand that is. But over all Ram is stepping up there game. It will take a few years to remove that rep of being unreliable. But in the last 4-5 years they have only been getting better. Over 5 years ago I wouldn’t of ever dreamed of getting a Ram. Now I got one. How things change and competition is great. Enough said. Ram 1️⃣

It's so cool that you put on so many miles on those trucks! My family usually keeps a car for 8 - 10 years, so our cars usually end up at around 300k mi. The most we have ever done was a 2006 Camry with 400k miles, but that had a completely new engine block after 300k miles because the dealership broke the engine during a visit to the body shop, which I'm still upset about. I'll buy a RAM 1500 Bighorn to replace my 300k mile 2013 Town & Country, and your videos are a great resource to know what to expect with heavy use.

4WD auto??
@tomh94703 жыл бұрын
Yes. There is a clutch pack in the transfer case. It runs RWD until electronic sensors detect wheel spin. Then, the transfer case clutch engages and directs torque to the front wheels. Great for rain or slippery conditions when traction is available, but it can save you from a spin when you get too aggressive with throttle. There are some expensive German high performance cars that use similar technology. Mercedes, for instance, calls it 4-Matic+ (note the “+”). So much better than AWD that always directs torque to your front wheels regardless of traction conditions & causes something called “torque steer” in high power applications.
