Fairly solid list. I respect your reasonings for everything on the list. I haven’t made a top favorites list in a while. But I’d say The Dark Knight is still at the top of whatever list I’d make as of right now. It’s still a film I can go back and watch and enjoy again and again. There’s so much in that film you can dissect. It really cemented Nolan as one of the greatest filmmakers for me.

Great List! I was definitely happy to see Into the Spider-verse make it so high! I remember as soon as I saw the first teaser I thought "I gotta see this with my family". Later trailers showed more of the humor and I started to worry that it wouldn't be as "cool" as first thought. What we got was darn cool, incredibly funny, and honestly it was one of the rare cases where the trailers under-sold how good the actual movie was gonna be. It has made it into my top 2 movies of all time along with The Incredibles. Here's hoping that Across the Spider-verse can match it's predecessor! That's a high bar but I have hope

I think the only movie left out that should have been in the list is Superman (1978) with Christopher Reeve. In my opinion, that was the first super hero movie to show that super hero/comic movies could be a huge success to a wide audience. To me, that movie is one of, if not the biggest reason we have the super hero movies we have today.
