I completed 25 yards solo in my lawn care business before 3:00 and generated $1397 in revenue. It was a good day which involved a lot of driving, but it was well worth it. I was applying pre and post emergent herbicides to the lawn. Having great route density is one reason I am able to have a productive day like this. Really shows the benefit of rout density! Liked to tip about not being a "secret sauce" creator but being a service provider. I usually tell the customers that everything I'm spraying on their lawn can be purchased by them. I have found that alleviates a lot of the "what about my pets" questions. It seams to calm their fears when I tell them that a laymen can buy what I'm putting down. I just thanked you on my last video for the recommendation to use Epic sports. Thanks again for that. I'm used to per 1000 sf but do you know how to calculate per sq yard? For example, 10,000 sq ft =? It could be Rd up only or a mix of weed control, too.

That's great money! And a lot of walking. It's a heafty investment but (with old age and longevity in mind) would a $15k stand on sprayer be good for efficiency now and career into retirement age?

I’m curious about figuring In acres instead of 1000 sq ft as most lawns are figured that way. Is it easier or more accurate to figure in acreage with big tank mixtures?

I think most herbicides show a mix rate in acres. That is the main reason I do it

Trying using that toro on a few yards with the mix to see how you like it. I'll do 4 acres of spraying by about 11 am.

I do use it sometimes. I struggle getting close enough to the shrubs. Weeds in a Bermuda lawn are terrible so I try to get right up to the edge of a flower bed without getting it on the flower bed.

I edge everything around shrubs by hand, then use the z sprayer to finish the yard.

@@xmtowntyx I use a permagreen and at times I finish the route by 1 and do almost 2 grand in production! Machines are amazing. Also helps if your in one neighborhood all day

There are pros and cons of both. It's not really an apples-to-apples comparison. For hilly yards, I would recommend the permagreen. If you're going to do a good bit of spraying, LTS has the better spray system

You forget there are spurts where he hit 10 yards in 2 hours. He made 280 per hour in that 2 hour session, and he works for himself.
