40g oats 1 Tbs cocoa powder Pinch cinnamon Tad vanilla 1/2 banana 1/2 tsp baking powder Pinch salt 100ml almond milk (or any milk really) Blend Pour into baking tray (looks like a 20x30) Sprinkle with chocolate chips Bake for 180 in a fan forced oven for 30 mins (200 for conventional) Cover with foil if starting to burn

I finally tried something I found on KZbin, and yo, this recipe was fire to start with. Shoutout for the recipe! Y’all gotta try it, it's dope. But 15 minutes in the oven wasn’t enough for me. I used a toothpick to check after 15, then let it go for another 7-8 minutes. Came out perfect!

nice healthy dessert. mine took around 18 mins in a 180C preheated oven. if you wanted it to be very cakey it would take more, or you can add more oats. I also added a tbs maple syrup. update: - it would take only 10min in an air fryer. - if the banana was ripe enough it would make it sweeter so I dont add maple syrup - I sometimes add a tbs of peanut butter or a tsp of instant coffee to enhance the flavor

If you're worried about losing weight you do have to be careful with chocolate as it's also an appetite stimulant and you should only have small amounts if you're trying to lose weight

if you cant control yourself when your appetite kicks up when you are calorie counting for a deficit, you will be hopelessly stuck never losing that weight. if you feel a stomach rumble after eating some chocolate just have something to drink and chew on some no sugar gum, dont allow yourself to binge. you do NOT have to be careful around chocolate, all you're doing is restricting your palate instead of restricting your calories.

Replacements that might work: apple sauce. Can give an apple flavor but it is sweet like the banana and apple sauce is often used to replace butter and oils. Avocado: it's creamy like banana but not as sweet. You might need to add some sweetener. Egg: eggs add some extra protein and help firming up the mixture. People use eggs in baked oats all the time. Also for this option you will need to add sweetener

Yes. I made it in the airfryer and worked fine. A lot of baked goods can be also made in the airfryer. Only thing is that you often need to lower the heat by about 10°C or 20°C. Else the top will bake too fast compared to the middle.

fyi if you want to bake this a bit longer so its closer to a baked texture, your going to lose alot of flavour since there isnt nesrly enough sugar to bring out that chocolate taste in a dryer bake. i.e. put cocoa in milk and itll taste chocolatet even without the sugar, taste dry cocoa and its mostly flavourless with a bitter aftertaste
