Does anyone else find it strange that the one thing almost every missing 411 case has in common is that the victim is found without their shoes/boots on? Sometimes even just placed next to them? A very strange, common detail.

So this story isn't about missing people but it is a personal story that shows just how awfully strange Colorado can be. I'm 36 now and have lived in Grand Junction CO. since '94. Having lived here since I was ten you can imagine that i have explored just about every nook and cranny to be found in our immediate area. In '02ish my bestfriend and I decide to take his Jeep up to the world's largest flat-top mountain called 'The Grand Mesa' which is just east of the town i live in. This place is an unimaginably large expanse of wilderness, sparsely populated with homes, log cabins and one ski resort. On the day we had decided to go up there camping, we were sick of society and had wanted to get as far away from it as possible. We ended up driving up there to a little town called Colbran as we had camped there a few times before and were confident we could find a spot that catered to our needs. After driving through the one street town we made our way to the outskirts and literally just found a road that looked like it would take us out to the middle of nowhere, so we turned off and followed this dirt road for nearly an hour until we got to the literal end. We were in high spirits, ready to get out and roast some marshmallows, cook some dogs, maybe do a bit of hiking, you get the idea. At the very end of this long road was a pre-existing camp site, complete with a pre-built fire pit and some sitting logs. Life is good! We unload and set up camp. After setting up camp we decide to take a walk around and check out our surroundings. Everything is as it should be, large stands of aspens peppered with the occasional evergreen tree. I will admit now that at the beginning of our hike I felt uneasy but couldn't put a finger on it and I certainly didn't explain this to my friend as we were both 18 and you know how 18 year old boys like to pretend they are tough...anyways we continue on up this small trail talking and viewing the gorgeous sites. After about 15 minutes of walking we come around a bend on the trail and sitting there in the middle of the trail an hour away from anywhere was an SUV. Now there isn't anything particularly odd with this i suppose but it did make us pause... After checking it out (without opening it up) we started to notice the one strange thing about it. It was a fairly new vehicle and it had been up in the elements for so long that it literally had mud/dirt caked on the windows and paint. The windows were so caked you couldn't see into it. It just looked like it had been there a long time! As I write this I realize that this may not seem like such a big deal but at the time it really seemed to creep us out. Just the fact that it was such a nice, new vehicle and that it had very possibly been there for quite some time. I don't know, it gave us both pause and we decided then that maybe it was a good idea to get back to camp and just leave it alone, after all it wasn't ours. By this time we had maybe about an hour left of daylight so we quickly walked back to camp and started dinner. We started a fire and made dinner all the while talking philosophy as he and i often do. After about 2.5 hours of this, he and I start getting a bit sleepy and decide to turn in. We were sharing a tent so we both get in and about 45 minutes after laying down we apparently fall asleep around the same time. Now this is where this story starts to really get odd. I Always have been a vivid dreamer and more often than not I will recall my dreams upon waking. Well anyways shortly after falling asleep I started dreaming intensely, which for me is a bit odd to dream so soon after falling asleep. I dreamt that we were sitting at the fire at the same camping spot. In this dream a dark, evil presence materialized up around us and DEMANDED that my friend and I leave this place immediately. That this place was not for us and that if we didn't leave bad things would befall us! I remember waking up screaming. Also at the very same time my friend is waking up too, obviously shaken. I tell him immediately about my dream and his face drains of color. He goes on to account his dream and it was basically the same dream I had. Down to a T. My friend is a very pragmatic person and not given to running with his imagination. It is safe to say that at this point he and I are very shaken up by this experience. We glance at a watch and notice we hadn't even slept for an hour at this point. Now by this time it was a bit before midnight, it is extremely dark and we both are scared out of our minds. We quickly unstake our tent and roll it up into a ball with all of our stuff still inside and throw it into the back of his Jeep. The realization that we are so far out in the wilderness down a bumpy dirt road about an hour away from even the slightest hint of society is starting to play on our nerves, filling us with anxiety. After making sure we had everything, we jump in the Jeep and started heading back down the road as fast as the road would allow. At some point I notice in the distance behind us there were two lights following us. Lights that seemed at first to be headlights. This further instills fear into us and i coax the engine a little harder. What happens next will always stick with me and completely baffle me. So these lights come up from quite a distance behind us and super fast! I mean, one second they are maybe a half a mile behind us and in the next blink of an eye they are right BEHIND us!! Sitting here comfortably in bed writing this now 18 years later I can not detail to you how beyond frightened we were. These lights would be right up on our bumper and then they would zoom back a bit. A few times they would lift up in the air and converge into one singular light then zoom back down at us splitting back into two. This went on for at least 20-30 minutes. Suffice it to say, we left that road with our lives that night. We eventually made our way off of the mountain and back into our town. I remember stopping off at Village Inn so we could be around people and some sort of normalcy. We have been back up to camp a few times since then over the years, never near that place, obviously. Never again did we have this experience and honestly I'm ok with that. Since then i have learned to listen to my gut feelings especially in the wild. The world is indeed a much stranger place than what we are led to believe, this is a lesson I only needed once.

@Cory Roberts: That’s a pretty damn fascinating story. I live in Castle Rock myself and am constantly exploring every nook and cranny within a 200 mile radius of me. My interest is definitely piqued with regard to the area you attempted to camp in, and the road where you encountered the lights... I’ve explored a few areas where paranormal activity is said to be strong, such as the Black Forest house, The Third Bridge, and a road out in Thornton (can’t remember the name right now) but all 3 areas were very creepy. I’m always up for a good thrill and would love to explore the area you were in. Might you have any sort of coordinates? Were you guys on a road just East of Sugarloaf Peak by any chance?

@@jamesestrada82 You know it has been soooo long since I have even been out that way but i do know it was past Collbran on the way to Vega reservoir. The road we chose was a left and that would make it going north whereas Sugarloaf is south. I am looking at the google maps now and there are a few roads that it may have been, i believe it could've been any one of the roads before you get to the turn-off for Vega. Considering it has been 18 years (wow) since this occured I don't know if I'd even recognize it if I were to even find it again, lol. I will tell ya tho, I really do not think there has ever been anything that has frightened me more than this experienced did. Also, it scared my friend so much so that he won't even talk to me about this, and considering we are essentially brothers from our long friendship and that we can talk about literally anything, this says a lot i think. I do not even know what it was that we encountered but i honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone... but i do understand curiosity.

@@djchillywilly0 I don't know if i could even begin to speculate. At first we assumed it was a vehicle but that notion was thrown out the window by it's maneuvers. Also, when the lights were right on our bumper a few times they seemed just that, lights. Usually if you have a vehicle of any kind that close to you you can still make out a form the lights are attached to. This was not the case. I do think that whatever it was in our dreams that wanted us gone was also responsible for the lights. Just plain strange all around. As I mentioned in another comment here, I have never in my life been more frightened than I was that night. Nothing has ever come close to the terror we experienced.

Story number two reminds me of my father's story . My father went missing for seven days and when he was found it was in an area that had been searched three times previously . They never did find out what happened to him. There were no external marks , but his insides had been crushed and his ribs punctured his kidneys and his liver and he died on his own body poisons. There were other weird things about his case , but nothing was ever done about it and he was a hero in the Marine Corp.

He tracked one down who was now living in FL, and this former priest told a totally different story (since corroborated by others): Bobby DID return to the camp with the group but was later seen fleeing out the camp doors clearly upset by something. @@SB-xe3pj I realize that people with religious authority tend to abuse kids more than (nearly?) any other group but maybe don't automatically assume someone is a child r***st because of their beliefs. I know that's probably not what you meant and that it was just one of the possibilities you thought of and that's fine. It definitely does happen to a degree where it should remain a suspicion. But assuming it is the case based on so little info doesn't seem all too productive. I'm talking in general. This case does seem to be that. You know what I mean. Just imagine, you are alone in the dark being chased by a creature. You yell for help, and then you notice mr ballen watching you. You ask for help but he keeps quiet, watching wide eyed. Then the creature catches up to you and drags you to the darkness, you keep crying for help but he keeps noting everything into a notebook which will be the script for his upcoming "Top 3 stories which you won't believe but are true." As the last of your cries fade into the abyss, Mr Ballen closes his notebook, satisfied with a true missing 411 story.

When I was a camp counselor we had a strict rule. On hikes you MUST have one counselor in front of the campers and one in the back on the group. Wild animals naturally look for young that trail behind their parents. It takes less than a second for a large predator to pounce on a small child and drag them away without a sound. This may have happened to poor Bobby as these animals will often drag their prey far off trail and up steep inclines.

I once took a wilderness emergency first aid course. The instructors also role played as injured people. The participants had very limited information. Here was our first simulated emergency scenario: a woman came screaming, at 4:00 a.m., into the cabin where we were all sleeping because her husband and friends had been out stargazing the night before, she just woke up and they weren’t home and she couldn’t find them. All we had to go on was where the woman had last seen her husband and friends. First we made our search plan and began searching in pairs. NOW HERE’S WHY I’M TELLING THIS STORY. Any time a pair split up, no matter how good the reason, an instructor would appear, tap one of the pair on the shoulder and say “you’ve just sprained your ankle so now YOU’RE out of commission.” It was a good and memorable lesson. Many of these Mr Ballen stories reinforce it. Being in the wilderness is marvellous but stay together. Yeah, I know sometimes things go awry even for groups of people but there’s no need to increase the odds.

I'm into solo hiking. It helps my mind rest and freedom to level out and forget the world. I was in the western UP in a late September trip. I was sitting by the small fire I had going sipping on a bottle of whiskey and all of a sudden I got this weird feeling of being watched. Anxiety like I've never felt, hair standing on end to the point where I stood up and unholstered my .357 mag and just quietly stared into the darkness. I stood still, holding my revolver in my hand and not making a sound. Just looking. Listening. I heard or saw nothing. But I definitely felt something. I stared for God knows how long to the point the fire had almost died and I didn't even notice. I quickly and quietly loaded up a bit more wood and went back to staring. I couldn't shake the feeling. The next thing I know, it's becoming daylight. My sidearm is holstered and I'm sitting down next to the fire pit. All my gear is packed up except my tent and sleep sack. I have no recollection of doing so. I quickly loaded up my pack, , filled my filter bottle and headed for not my truck, but a road I knew was 7 miles further up the trail. I hit that road in record speed and I didn't feel right until I came across my first person. Took me all day hiking down several roads, 16miles in all to get back to my truck. My hair stands up thinking about that night. I'm not hiking alone on that section of the north country pathway ever again

@Jordan Eversole a fellow hiking pal of mine said the same thing. But I don't think so. What I felt is hard to describe, but it was like I was being hunted. A sixth sense kind of thing. I've hiked northern Ontario, Michigan and North Dakota. I'm no stranger to being alone in the wilderness. But I have never felt this weird level of alert/survival instinct mixed with fear. The strangest part was how long it lasted. It was like I was fighting against falling into a trance. It felt difficult to remain alert instead of starring into the blackness. And to this day I don't recall packing up my stove or a few other items. Whiskey probably doesn't help but it isn't the cause either. I'll never know. It's kinda scary, kinda cool

Ok here’s a theory. What if, random events occur in places on earth where people are sucked into wormholes? There could be a time differential inside the wormhole, causing the person to be sucked in, held for a period of time (in our reality, in theirs it could be just seconds) then spat back out? It’s difficult to imagine why a forest “monster” would take a person and not consume any of him. I don’t think this second case was done by an animal, or even a person. I think it’s a natural event that we just can’t explain yet. It makes sense regarding the head trauma and broken bone too, it’s possible he broke his leg and head as he fell on the other side of the wormhole, and was too disorientated to care for himself, and died shortly after emerging.

So I've been looking into 411 cases and tried to find clues from different sources on what could explain the strange circumstances under which trail goers disappear. Ended up going down an interesting rabbit hole that involves piecing together legends and stories from different cultures. Sorry in advance for the long comment but it's too interesting not to share. Credo Mutwa, a Zulu healer shaman from a tribe in South Africa, has kept the tradition of passing down knowledge from his ancestors, he was a part of shamanic secret societies where the remnant of their ancient knowledge and wisdom was still preserved. He talks of creatures, called the Chitauli, humanoid reptilians that hide in deep cavities underground around the world. He gives a detailed description in a public interview... they walk gracefully, they are tall, have large heads, some have horns all around their heads. They have an intense metallic, copper smell, they are not capable of eating solid food due to their facial structure, but consume blood and have been known to interact with/feed on humans in many parts of the world. They are white-skinned, like paper, and skin texture is like that of scaly, reptile-like creatures. Foreheads are large, bulging, and they look highly intelligent. Chitauli are similar to what is known to Canadians and North Americans as skinwalkers. Most encounters with skinwalkers describe an unshakable feeling of being watched or followed, coupled with glances from something vaguely human shaped in trees or behind bushes. This creature will be very cautious not to be caught within direct line of sight. Stalking period can range between a few hours to a few days. After spending some time in the periphery of its target, it will start to act more brazen and let its presence known. The Austrailian Aborigine people, who call themselves Coorie, believed in a god called Byamie. A Coorie shaman drew pictures of the Byamie for Credo, and showed rock paintings representing this being that "came from the stars." Credo said in an interview this was the same being his tribe recognized as the Chitauli. It had a large head, large eyes, no mouth, long arms and incredibly long legs. This was a typical depiction of a Chitauli in Africa, he has visited over 500 tribes in parts of Africa that all describe similar creatures. Credo visited the Native American people, and amongst certain tribes, such as the Hopi and Pueblo people, they have Kachina creatures and some of them looked similar to the Chitauli, very tall with a large round head. In Navajo legends they also used the term "skinwalker" for witches that were able to shapeshift into different animals. And when you shined a light into their eyes they turned a bright red. Credo confirmed the Chitauli also have eyes that turn a bright red when in the light, and how they can shapeshift into humans and even mimic human speech patterns. Credo mentions how he was shocked to discover freemasons worship what looked like the leader of the Chitauli, Jabulon, known to Africans as Umbaba-Samahongo (translates to "the lord king, great father of terrible eyes") and how Jabulon is waiting for the day when the surface of the Earth is cleared of humans, so they may enjoy the heat of the sun. He says when the Chitauli get sick, they start to lose a large area of skin on its body. It then leaves the deep cavities underground and seeks humans on the surface, they induce as much fear and exhaustion into humans before feeding on their blood. Otherwise it will not heal the Chitauli. They have a little finger that functions as a claw which is very sharp, used to punch into human noses and feed on their blood through the brain. He claims over 1,000 children disappear in South Africa almost every month, and it's often under mysterious circumstances. One of the most commonly reported events of a chitauli/skinwalker encounter is the overwhelming smell of blood or copper in the air, can be compared to a day old kill of a hunted animal. The smell will quickly dissipate and come back over the course of the encounter. After multiple attempts at scare tactics to build up fear in its target, the skinwalker will unleash terrible screams and calls nearby, ranges from unearthly roars to sharp yelps or even vaguely human sounding shouts. They use human sounding shouts to isolate a member of a group and draw them in to investigate. Sensation of a heavy atmosphere will develop within the group or person, similar to a static charge people feel in the air right before a storm, which is accompanied by notable lack of wildlife or birdsong. Next the skinwalker will either repeat the previous actions or move in to attack when it appears the target is sufficiently scared/paralyzed and alone. If it's successful, it will move in to take the individual down. Either stowing them far out of sight or killing them there and then. It will remove the clothes of the victim to study the shape and structure of the body. It may then choose to shapeshift into it's prey. David Paulides, the author of the Missing 411 books, estimates that there are over 1,600 unexplained disappearances in North America in National Parks alone. Statistics indicate Lake Mead, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Rocky Mountain have the greatest number of SAR (search and rescue) incidents. More than 200 caves have been found in parks near Yosemite alone, a habitat favorable to skinwalkers. Most people disappear in the late afternoon and during or just before severe weather. Bodies are often found in previously searched areas, and often without clothing or footwear. Children are sometimes found at improbably far distances from the point where they went missing. Maybe in some of the cases the skinwalkers come out under the cover of bad weather to feed on humans? Who knows, it's fascinating but also chilling to the core.

These settings are ideal for creating abductions that can lead to disappearance altogether of human beings. This then becomes an easy thing to cover up. If people are exploring a wilderness area and simply disappear, it is assumed they became lost, and over a period of days, their bodies could be moved by large predators and then devoured and never be found by searchers. This happens again and again where people disappear, leaving no trace. And this eventually is forgotten at least by the authorities and bystanders. We all know this happens. There are huge numbers of people disappearing every year. So society is accustomed to this and that creates a great cover for this process to snatch people and not return them. This is to provide fresh blood, so to speak, for the slave colony and for the existing extraterrestrial incursion within the earth plane itself, the installations where they congregate. Humans are exploited in multiple ways as slave, but also as food. So again we do not mince words here. This is all distasteful and unpleasant and does not bring us joy in recounting these facts. The reason it exists is primarily because humans are unaware it is happening and cannot fight back effectively. You cannot fight something you do not see and do not believe exists. There will be no energy or inclination to do so. This is how they get away with their crimes through the clever covering up, the misdirection, the disinformation, the control of the media and law enforcement, both, to be complacent, to discount eyewitness evidence, the pleas of family, the oddities that occur that scream out “There is something sinister behind what happened, that is not a typical accident”. But when people are subjugated through mind control to be complacent, things will not get done. These are the headwinds all face who want to right the wrongs and to blow the whistle in some way or another. It is not only waking up those who are asleep but overcoming the deep anesthesia enveloping them. This will not be simple but is necessary. More humans are needed who are awake and observant and wanting things to change, and knowing what steps to take. If that does not happen the problem will not only continue but the problem will get worse. More will disappear and this will grow and other difficulties and calamities and catastrophes will add to the toll. And things will get increasingly ugly and out of control, and that will not be the time to be in your best shape to take on such a challenge. When people are overwhelmed and in states of fear they disempower themselves. This is an inherent characteristic of the human being. You cannot have a loving, caring, compassionate human who can suddenly switch off their feelings and go into battle and keep their head. That is asking too much. It takes extensive military training to condition human beings for combat. When this is happening within all of society on multiple levels the people as a whole will not be able to cope. This must be prevented and will only happen through divine means. People need to request this for us to come to their aid. They will not do so if they do not know a request is needed. This is our way of pointing out the great value of the question and this questioner. All who come forward in this way and seek answers are still awake. This makes you among the most valuable of humans at this time in the history because you are the hope for all the rest although they do not know this.If you embrace our words and simply reach out to the Divine to ask for help and support and to have the hearts of all who are here raised up so love can flow and reason prevail, that is what is needed and the divine realm can use that fuel to engineer solutions that will spare lives and bring things back into balance without a fight in the conventional sense of the word. as a person who lives in Colorado (just moved here) these stories scare me but you just gotta expect it when you enter a national forest, mountain ranges etc. Colorado is the state with the highest number of mountain lions so i can blame the death/disappearance on the ranges. Edits for the stories V For story Number 3 (the boy with the hearing aid) Since they were in a forest at campground with mountains and I've got to assume deer/elk, I think a mountain lion got Bobby after the camp councilor got away for a bit, since a 10 year old could not over power a mountain lion and probably didn't know how to defend himself. I'm thinking a mountain lion dragged him up to the mountain area (Very hard to reach for bipedal mammals) and ate him. The reason the mountain lion didn't attack both the councilor and bobby was because they are very anti-social towards humans and bobby seemed small and easy to take out. For story 2, I would check above where the man was found. Maybe there was a cliff that he fell off of and broke his femur on the way down and ultimately suffered from head trauma due to the fact he fell, hit his thigh/leg and head on a branch and landed, and the reason the helicopter didn't see him was because he was still trying to find his way to the camp, and didn't follow the trail because he had skis and it was rock covered, so he took the next best option. For story one, I would actually consider something paranormal. Most elderly people (60-100) and young people (1-8 years old) are usually ones that are the victim of supernatural occurrences. And i would like to believe that he just poofed out of existence but i couldn't help but wonder if he just fell into a river and got carried away or attacked by a mountain lion, and with the shock of both (and him being like 80 years old) would probably kill him which would mean no sign of struggle when it comes to the mountain lion, or the hypothermia ridden water of a river.

the commonalities are, according to Missing 411 files: granite boulder fields, water such as creeks, lakes, full moon (or near to), and from what i can deduce from watching 411 series - solstice date markers. So if you avoid all these things you should be fine. Really. Plenty of people have hiked, fished etc their whole lives and nothing out of the ordinary every happened to them. Nature is there to be enjoyed. Mindfully, though....

I have to admit that I sometimes question the "no footprints" thing. Especially in snow. Are there rocks he could have walked on without leaving footprints? Could he have been crawling or doing something else that would leave tracks in the snow but not ones that stand out to people? Could searchers have simply missed his footprints in the many acres of white snow they had to look through? Could he have left footprints and the wind blown them away? Without a thorough understanding of the layout and weather in these areas, the "no footprints" phenomenon just sounds like something was overlooked.

What is very clear with so many of these missing 411 cases, is that as David Paulides points out, there is a distinct "point of separation" when they go missing. As soon as the person is alone, or other people are not observing them... THAT is the moment they vanish. So it would appear that whatever it is that is 'taking' these people, it is closely observing the behaviour of the individual as well as the other people in the immediate vicinity, and waiting for the right moment to strike, so that nobody actually witnesses the act.

My cousins son came home crying and all wet. His mother asked him what happened. We come from a native reservation that’s by a lake. He was 5 years old. He told him mom that 2 of his other friends, same age as him, went to the lake and started to play in the water until the current took one little boy and he was drowning. They immediately called the police and family and everyone went to the lake to find the little boy but he didn’t make it. His mother asked him why he went into the water. The boy who had drowned told them to come with him to meet a friend. And he said he saw another child whom they never seen before lured them into the water to play. But once his friend disappeared under water him with the other boy got scared and ran back home. So, they asked the other boy what had happened and he gave the same answer. That’s so sad and creepy.

The last video I watched of David’s who wrote 411, said that some people are upping the price of his books and gouging people. He recommended that you get his book on his website so people are not over paying for them.

Some thing I have learned from being in the military. Never make yourself a target. By that I mean; never be alone, never be clueless, have as much situational awareness as possible, don't rush or move at a pace the would be too slow OR too fast. Lastly, always have two primary plans, a secondary, a tertiary and a final plan because no plan *ever* survives first contact. This goes for everything you do all the time. It seems these cases follow a commonality related to brief moments of isolation and lack of situational awareness.

RedCell96 is completely right. In story #2, the people should not have let the guy go on alone, they signed his death warrant. People who don't regularly get out in the outdoors have no idea how brutal nature can be. One thing that gets people is thinking they can survive harsh environments, leaving a group to go it alone is a bad idea, regardless your training. One reason is once you get tired you make poor decisions, then if you panic, you make worse decisions, that is why having friends along helps. Wild pigs, wild dogs, coyotes, wolves, bears, badgers, hawks, eagles, buzzards, worms, ants, flies, and who knows what else can team up and pick a human body clean in hours. I saw it with a pig I shot once, picked clean in less than 4 hours, just half his bones left in a bloody spot in the grass.

Mr. Ballen, I live in Germany and I have followed David Paulides' work since he published his first book and gave his first interviews. I was curious about the cases in Europe as well, and I started my own investigation to see if I would find cases similar to the ones Paulides mentioned in his books. I don't care if people will not believe me and start harassing me here, but I will tell you: there are similar cases all around Europe, and the ones in Germany and Switzerland are like a perfect copy of the cases Paulides also investigated. I was shocked! I used to go to the woods with my husband and my mother-in-law, mushrooming. I have changed my ways now. We never separate and we stick together. We don't go wandering around in trails or near water or boulders. We have also found strange things in the woods (even places where people have practiced Satanic rituals, believe me or not, many people are involved in the occult here in Germany, and that infamous "Thule-Gesellschaftt" is still around, the same sect Hitler was part of) and besides that, we also noticed some strange footprints that can't be made by humans. There is something extraordinary going on, and because people don't live near nature like us (we live in one area surrounded by forest and deep woods in Germany, where we have several protected areas and parks) they lost their instict when it comes to danger, that's my opinion. When you go into the woods you must remember that's not your living room, or your garden. You must be careful because danger is everywhere and "paranormal danger" is a fact for me now. There is something taking people away, and I don't believe it is a human.

The Bobby Bizup story was recently solved… Some of the counselors, including the head priest’s nephew, attempted to assault Bobby, Bobby ran into the woods up the hill and died of exposure… A year later while on a hike, some of the counselors involved “just happened” to discover some of his effects. The head priest wait 2-3 days to actually report the discovery. While watching his local news channel cover this story, a man recalled that his father (who had passed away) had given him a paper bag with a skull in it, saying it belonged to a boy who had disappeared some 50 years ago… The man turned the skull over to authorities and it was confirmed to belong to Bobby Bizup… The man’s father was a doctor and a friend of the head priest. Around the time of the disappearance, the priest had given the skull to the doctor, asking him to hold onto and hide it. He wasn’t just covering for his nephew and the other counselors, he was totally complicit in the abuse. In fact, the nephew and the two other counselors directly responsible ALL were charged at one point or another with abuse and assault (I don’t recall specifics). The news channel that originally covered the story even went and found the nephew after word had spread about what REALLY happened… There’s footage of it and if you just search Bobby Bizup, you’ll find it. So that entire story was totally fabricated about Bobby just “disappearing”. Other campers even remember seeing him run out of the main hall totally upset after the nephew had tried assaulting him in a back room. I’m not saying this discredits all of the Missing 411 cases, not by a long shot… But I do think it’s important to at least leave room for the possibility that the other witnesses could not only be lying, but also directly involved in the disappearance……. (cough, DeOrr Kunz, cough)
