Just got a bench this was solid! I'm a 70 year old lady who loves strength! Any advice on how to firm up loose skin! Im not overweight
@TomPetoTraining8 ай бұрын
Well done, glad you joined us for this 💪🏼 You can’t really firm up loose skin without surgery. Possibly filling out those areas by developing some muscle could help. Keep it up 💪🏼

Doing these more strength based workouts (instead of HIIT) workouts is a great way to train. Especially as you get older and avoiding muscle loss becomes more important. Check out my channels Dumbbells playlist and follow any of them that have ‘strength’ in the title.

If I did only this workout 4 days a week followed by a 45 bike ride would that be a balanced workout? may up the weight level every month
@TomPetoTraining Жыл бұрын
Ye that would be a great routine. Ye gradually increase weights every week or two. After 6-12 weeks you could try switching to a different full body video on my Dumbbells playlist.

Hi, Love this workout, but what weights would you recommend for a beginner in his 50's?
@TomPetoTraining Жыл бұрын
Everyone is different YT you could try 6-8kg per dumbbell for section 1 / 4-6kg for sect 2 / 2-3kg for section 3 👌🏼👍🏼

Great workout. In set 3, what is the difeerence between prone reverse fly and the lateral raise? Thanks
@TomPetoTraining Жыл бұрын
Prone Reverse Fly hits more rear Delt (back of shoulder), lateral raise hits more mid Delt (middle of shoulder) 👍

3-4 workouts a week, this is full body so could be done multiple times a week but I have load of other dumbbell workouts in a dumbbells playlist on my channel so make sure you check out a few other also to mix in 💪🏼

I can see you have linked a warm up video but can’t see any cool down video. How important is cool down? Thanks
@TomPetoTraining2 жыл бұрын
@@marsamuk I don’t think cool downs are as important. I highly value mobility work but it doesn’t have to be done after a workout. If you want to add in a stretch video after I have some in a Mobility playlist.
@Shadowcat2503 Жыл бұрын
Nice workout, but the rest times seem a bit too short, you barely get enough time to switch position, and if you want to pick up a different dumbbell or drink some water (for example), you're already late on the next one. 😵
@TomPetoTraining Жыл бұрын
Yes intense pace on this one. My last eat workouts give a little more transition time. Let me know how you find those 💪🏼👍🏼
